WorldVentures file lawsuits globally, MaVie allege manipulation

Having overturned a previously granted TRO, MaVie are now defending WorldVentures’ lawsuit to either settlement or trial.

In addition to their lawsuit in the US, it has come to light WorldVentures has filed related lawsuits in South Africa and Singapore.

Since initiating this lawsuit, Plaintiffs have launched a worldwide litigation attack to squelch fair competition and intimidate active and former WV representatives and employees.

The lawsuits target former WorldVentures employees and affiliates who are now marketing and/or employed by MaVie.

In an emergency motion filed on July 17th, MaVie allege WorldVentures’ filed the lawsuits to ‘prevent fair competition and manipulate the market‘. [Continue reading…]

David Wood vs. WorldVentures: TRO granted, religious persecution?

Just over a month ago WorldVentures terminated David Wood’s affiliate position.

The cited reason for the termination was Wood’s use of “lewd images and profane and obscene language” on his personal website, as well as ‘negative and demeaning statements about a fellow WorldVentures Representative, and the company’s CEO‘.

Wood claims World Ventures owes him commissions. He responded to his termination by vowing to “entirely destroy” the company.

In a nutshell David Wood claims WorldVentures owes him commissions. As of June 13th WorldVentures had failed to publicly address the ongoing situation.

That still appears to be the case, however on June 15th the company filed a lawsuit against Wood in Collin County, Texas. [Continue reading…]

Nerium accused of profiting from Brand Partner Kit gouging

A recently filed lawsuit alleges Nerium and Jeff Olson profited “substantially” from the sale of Brand Partner Launch Kits.

A company and its owner profiting when affiliates sign up isn’t anything new, except for the fact Nerium explicitly claims it sells the kits “at cost”. [Continue reading…]

OneCoin investor’s airline money laundering scheme thwarted

Following its launch in late 2014, Pehr Karlsson emerged as one of OneCoin’s early top investors.

Operating out of Sweden and placed directly below Juha Parhiala, Karlsson is believed to have stolen over 7 million EUR from OneCoin victims.

Like most of OneCoin’s top earners, Karlsson bailed from OneCoin after it collapsed early last year.

Flush with ill-gotten gains, Karlsson surfaced earlier this year as co-founder of a proposed Swedish airline. [Continue reading…]

Planet Ether Review: Three-tier ethereum Ponzi cycler

Planet Ether provides no information on their website about who owns or runs the business.

The Planet Ether website domain (“planet-ether.com”) was privately registered on June 15th, 2018.

At the time of publication Alexa cites South Korea (37.2%), Croatia (15.6%) and Russia (12.8%) as the top three sources of traffic to the Planet Ether website.

It is highly likely Planet Ether is being operated from one of these three countries.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]

Barrel Review: Texas oil drilling = 7300% annual ROI?

Barrel provides no information on their website as to who owns or runs the business.

The Barrel website domain (“barrel.company”) was privately registered on August 10th, 2017.

In the “documents” section of their website, Barrel provides an Arkansas incorporation certificate for “American Barrel LLC”.

As per Arkansas Secretary of State records, American Barrel LLC was incorporated on October 13th, 2017.

The incorporation agent is Incorp Services Inc., who provide company incorporation services across the US.

Thus Barrel appears to be a shell company, with no actual physical operations in the US.

Broken English on the Barrel website suggests it was designed by a non-English native speaker.

Alexa meanwhile estimates over 30% of traffic to the Barrel website originates out of Russia (25.7%) and the Ukraine (5.8%).

It is highly likely that Barrel is in fact being operated out of one or both of these two countries.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]

Bad faith lawsuit against doTerra costs Young Living $1.8 million

Back in 2012 Young Living filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against doTerra.

doTerra claimed Young Living’s lawsuit was full of “baseless allegations” and part of ‘a sinister and desperate marketing campaign to try to halt doTERRA’s remarkable ascension‘.

In June 2017 Young Living’s claims were dismissed and they lost the case.

Said doTerra at the time through a press-release;

Not surprisingly, a jury of our peers found no merit in Young Living’s allegations and rejected every single one of Young Living’s claims for damages.

Young Living’s abuse of our judicial system in an effort to slander doTERRA is finally over.

Not content with just winning the case, doTerra pursued the matter as ‘a wasteful and conniving use of our country’s legal system‘. [Continue reading…]

Noble 8 Revolution collecting fees, continue to delay commissions

Question: As a Ponzi cycler admin, what’s better than collecting the majority of invested funds through pre-loaded positions?

Answer: Not paying anyone and keeping all of the money for yourself.

Noble 8 Revolution’s admins have redefined the gullibility of Ponzi investors. Mark Campese and Blaine Williams have been collecting $25 membership fees since January, and to date haven’t paid out a cent to their affiliates. [Continue reading…]
