EmpiresX Review: 1% a day BTC & ETH Ponzi scheme

EmpiresX provides no information on its website about who owns or runs the company.

EmpiresX’s website domain (“empiresx.com”) was privately registered on December 1st, 2019.

Despite being set to English, certain elements on EmpiresX’s website still show up in Portuguese:

This suggests whoever is running EmpiresX is fluent in Portuguese.

Further research reveals EmpiresX marketing material crediting Emerson Pires and Flávio Gonçalves as co-founders of the company.

According to his LinkedIn profile Emerson Pires is based out of Florida in the US.

BehindMLM first came across Emerson Pires in our comments section. Back in 2018 Pires showed up to defend the Mining Capital Coin Ponzi scheme.

Apperently everyone is misguided and have not done their research correctly.

Instead of speaking about any mlm company in the market why not do actual investigation such as actually speaking to owners and getting the full truth and proof of a a company before jumping into conclusions. Please read your own reviews behindmlm.

As an early investor, Pires likely made money. Mining Capital Coin collapsed by the end of 2018.

Possibly due to language barriers, I was unable to establish Pires’ involvement in any other MLM opportunities.

Flavio Goncalves is purportedly based out of Brazil. Same issue with language-barriers.

Update 5th June 2021 – BehindMLM reader Semjon has tied Flavio Goncalves to the Brazilian MLM software company Technology2u.

It seems Technology2u ran out of scams to sell their services to so, with the help of Emerson Pires, decided to start their own.

Omega Digital Review: 45% a month AutoBTC reboot Ponzi

Omega Digital provides no information about who owns or runs the company on its website.

Omega Digital’s website domain (“omega-digital.io”) was privately registered on April 12th, 2021.

Despite being in prelaunch, in a marketing video Omega Digital falsely claims it has

been around for five years and have paid out hundreds of millions of dollars in commissions without missing a beat.

In a Q&A marketing video the founder of Omega Digital is introduced as “Greg, the owner of AutoBTC”.

AutoBTC Builder is a bitcoin Ponzi cycler, launched in 2018 by founder Greg Aggesen (right).

Prior to launching AutoBTC Aggesen was promoting the twice collapsed JetCoin Ponzi scheme.

According to his personal Facebook profile, Aggesen resides in New York. He describes himself as an “entrepreneur, business & marketing consultant (and) cryptocurrency enthusiast”.

Alexa traffic rankings show a steady decline in visitors to AutoBTC’s website over the last six months.

This has likely prompted Aggesen to launch Omega Digital.

Nexyiu Review: 36 month ROI gift cards Ponzi scheme

Nexyiu provides no information on their website about who owns or runs the company.

Nexyiu represents it is incorporated in Italy as “Nexyiu Italia Srl”. An address in Verona, Italy is also provided.

Nexyiu appears to have launched in mid to late 2018. The company’s website domain (“nexyiu.com”) was registered on June 18th, 2018.

Raffaele Battisti (right) is listed as the domain owner, through an address is Trentino, Italy.

Further research reveals Battisti is Nexyiu’s CEO. Why this information isn’t provided on Nexyiu’s website is unclear.

As per an investigation by the Italian website MarketMovers in late 2020;

  • Nexyiu Italia Srl is owned 50/50 by Raffaele Battisti and Danilo Certelli;
  • Battisti’s last company, Quadra Srl, an electronic components manufacturer, went bankrupt prior to Nexyiu’s launch; and
  • Nexyiu Italia Srl’s corporate address belongs to a bar.

I wasn’t able to find any information on Danilo Certelli outside of Nexyiu. Nor was I able to establish where Raffaele Battisti has an MLM history.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]

Bomb Party Review: Bath bomb jewelry surprises

Bomb Party launched as Ring Bomb Party back in 2016. Circa late 2020, the company shortened its name to Bomb Party.

Bomb Party is based out of Alabama and operates in the jewelry MLM niche.

Heading up Bomb Party are co-founders Lillian and Bella Coleman.

As per Lillian Coleman’s Bomb Party corporate bio;

I … earned a degree in business marketing and graphic design, only to find myself confined by working for someone else and unable to pursue my passion.

My free spirit longed to fly. My family supported my dream, and with a $1,500 loan from my parents, I launched Moss+Crown, a collection of Southern inspired apparel for women.

Moss+Crown took off like wild fire and I was lucky enough to enlist my sister to keep up with the demand.

Isabella left nursing school to help me run the growing business and we never looked back. Three years later, Bomb Party was created.

PBX Trading Review: Premium Business rebrands after ban

Premium Business was on my review list and recently came up.

I’d noted a Philippine SEC securities fraud notice issued against Premium Business on May 18th.

Between May 18th and Premium Business coming up for review last week, the company had pulled its website.

I reached out to the reader who requested the review to let them know what had happened.

Through that conversation I was surprised to learn Premium Business had simply rebranded as PBX Trading. [Continue reading…]

Atteva Review: Jef Welch returns with hemp oil & weight loss

Atteva launched in July 2020 and is based in the nutritional supplement and weight loss MLM niches.

Atteva represents it is based out of California. The corporate address provided however is shared with what appears to be multiple unrelated businesses.

Not sure what the story is there.

Heading up Atteva is CEO Jef Welch (right).

Welch first appeared on BehindMLM as part of a cross-recruitment spat between Sisel and Neways

BehindMLM covered the spat as part of our published 2012 Sisel review.

The spat wound up in court. In 2008 a federal court in Utah

entered an order against Sisel distributors Jef and Patricia Welch restraining them from recruiting any present Neways distributor to participate in another multi-level marketing company.

We next came across Welch in March 2018, as the money guy for CGI Limited.

Welch was using a personal bank account to accept funds for CGI Limited. Said funds were being solicited as part of an illegal crypto token betting scheme.

Later in the year CGI Limited was rebranded first as CGI Global and then Magellan International Alliances.

In August 2018 Welch was appointed CEO of the company.

Magellan International Alliances was a Ponzi scheme committing securities fraud.

Just over a month after BehindMLM published its review, Magellan International announced it was pulling out of the US.

Jef Welch, who is based out of the US state of Georgia, remained in charge of the company.

The indirect admission Magellan International was committing securities fraud coincided with acknowledged withdrawal problems.

Three months later Magellan International collapsed.

The day before Magellan International collapsed, Welch, stretched out and seemingly without a worry in the world, posted a fifteen minute video to Facebook.

In the caption above the video Welch asked, “Are you a dysfunctional wuss who doesn’t take responsibility for your own stupid decisions?”

Total Magellan International investor losses are unknown. To date neither Welch or anybody else involved in Magellan International has been held accountable.
