Powur Review 2.0: Solar installations simplified with mentoring

I was recently contacted by a member of Powur’s executive team

Since the inception of Powur, our business model has evolved quite a bit, and especially since you wrote that blog post.

At the present moment, the information in that article is significantly outdated.

We kindly request that you remove that review post, due to the inaccurate statements it provides.

The communication refers to BehindMLM’s original Powur review, published October 2015.

In line with BehindMLM’s policy of updating rather than removing, today we’re revisiting Powur for an updated review. [Continue reading…]

Bruxis Trading Review: Bruxis clone Ponzi scheme

Bruxis Trading provides no information on its website about who owns or runs the company.

In an attempt to appear legitimate, Bruxis Trading provides a UK incorporation certificate for “Bruxis Trading LTD”.

This incorporation doesn’t exist. The provided incorporation number corresponds with “Auto Forex Trading LTD”, a former UK incorporation dissolved in March 2021.

In any event an MLM company operating or claiming to operate out of the UK is a red flag.

UK incorporation is dirt cheap and effectively unregulated. On top of that the FCA, the UK’s top financial regulator, do not actively regulate MLM related securities fraud.

As a result the UK is a favored jurisdiction for scammers looking to incorporate, operate and promote fraudulent companies.

For the purpose of MLM due-diligence, incorporation in the UK or registration with the FCA is meaningless.

Bruxis Trading’s website domain (“bruxis-trading.ltd”) was privately registered on February 26th, 2021.

In the website source-code for Bruxis Trading’s website we find a reference to “Capital Traders”.

Capital Traders is a collapsed hourly returns Ponzi scheme. It seems the same anonymous scammers are behind Bruxis Trading.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]

Laetitude Review: BitClub Network scammers launch Ponzi

Laetitude provides no information on its website about who owns or runs the company.

Laetitude’s website domain (“laetitude.com”) was privately registered on February 23rd, 2020.

Further research reveals David El Dib (right) citing himself as Laetitude’s founder on LinkedIn.

El Dib is a former BitClub Network scammer. El Dib traveled with BitClub Network executives and spoke at BitClub Network promotional events.

The above screenshot is from a 2017 video of a BitClub Network event held in Spain.

El Dib (right) shared the stage with BitClub Network founder and convicted pedophile, Russ Medlin.

The DOJ arrested three individuals connected to BitClub Network in December 2019.

Russ Medlin was picked up in Indonesia seven months later. He was arrested on child sex charges.

The DOJ allege BitClub Network was a $722 million dollar Ponzi scheme and have indicted five individuals.

Whether David El Dib is a person of interest to US authorities is unclear.

In what is almost certainly not a coincidence, Stefan Stumpf is Laetitude’s “International Leader”.

Stumpf is also a former BitClub Network scammer:

David El Dib is originally from Austria. At some point he fled to Dubai.

Dubai is a safe haven for scammers. It is currently the MLM scam capital of the world.

Laetitude is run through the Spring7 FZ LLC, a shell company purportedly incorporated in the UAE.

Read on for a full review of Laetitude’s MLM opportunity. [Continue reading…]

BullRun Review: Brazilian serial scammer launches bitcoin Ponzi

BullRun, not to be confused with BullRun the collapsed 2020 cycler Ponzi, operates in the cryptocurrency MLM niche.

Heading up BullRun is CEO Carlos Nobre. Nobre is from Brazil and has a long history of participation in MLM scams.

BNG was an MLM scam that scammed thousands in Brazil circa 2016.

As part of their coverage of BNG’s collapse, UnversoMLM cited Carlos Nobre (right) as the company’s Marketing Director.

UnversoMLM tied Nobre to UniverTeam, a Portuguese scam that was eventually sold off to the notorious OneCoin scheme.

Going back even further, in 2012 Nobre was promoting the AiYellow pyramid scheme.

The first MLM crypto scam I was able to pin Nobre to was Digital Goen.

Digital Goen was a Brazilian crypto Ponzi scheme advertising a 3% daily ROI. Digital Goen collapsed in December 2019.

Unless Nobre has since fled Brazil, his involvement in BullRun suggests the company is being run out of Brazil.

BullRun’s website domain (“bullrun.io”) was first registered in February 2019. The domain registration was last updated on March 1st, 2021.

BullRun’s website domain registration details point to the Netherlands and appear to be bogus.

Also bogus is the corporate address in Panama City that BullRun provides on its website.

Any ties BullRun has to Panama will be on paper only, through the shell company “Universal Real Properties SRL”.

Based on Alexa traffic estimates for BullRun’s website, the company is primarily being promoted in Guatemala (45%), Russia (22%) and the Philippines (8%).

Read on for a full review of BullRun’s MLM opportunity. [Continue reading…]

Alovea Review: Aloe acemannan products & charity marketing

About a year ago BehindMLM attempted to put together an Evolv Health review.

Wouldn’t you know it, at the time Evolv Health was transitioning into Alovea.

While I was able to get basic product information at the time, revealing nothing had changed from Evolv Health, what I wasn’t able to pin down was an Alovea compensation plan.

Instead of publishing a review I penned an article questioning why, seeing as seemingly nothing much had changed, Evolv Health was rebranding at all.

In late May an Alovea affiliate explained the rebranding;

Alovea was purchased by Nations Changers, a non profit and MannaRelief, also a non profit, for the purpose of becoming a Social Business.

Along with that explanation I was provided a link to Alovea’s compensation plan.

Today we revisit Alovea for a full review. [Continue reading…]

GSPartners’ developer sent Movenpick cease and desist

As part of our coverage of GSPartners’ XLT Ponzi token launch, BehindMLM got in touch with Accor Group about a week ago.

Accor Group owns the Movenpick brand, and we wanted to know if they were OK with GSPartners using one of their properties in Dubai to promote their XLT Ponzi points scheme.

A few hours ago I received a reply from Accor Group’s Investor Relations Team. [Continue reading…]
