Is success in MLM simply a matter of time?

polaris-global-logoWhen it comes to success in MLM on the part of the distributor, associate, marketer or whatever you want to call yourself, there seems to be two schools of thought.

On one side we have those that believe you either have it or you don’t. That’s not to say that if you don’t have it you’re a lost cause, just that you’re going to need a suitable amount of training and preparation to ‘get it’.

And even then, that’s not a guarantee of success.

Then on the otherside of the fence we have those that believe anyone can do it, if they put in enough time.

What works for one person is duplicatable for anyone and if someone fails, it’s just because they didn’t put in enough time to whatever opportunity they’re trying to succeed in.

Success, as they put it, is merely a personal choice.

One proponent of this is Polaris Global’s co-founder, Rachel Oliver. [Continue reading…]

Qnanza Review: Coupons + member driven advertising

qnanza-logoOver the last few years the online coupon marketplace has grown significantly. Starting off with sites that just published the same coupons you’d find on the back of your receipts or in those booklets dropped in your mailbox, the niche has grown so much that it’s now a fully fledged industry of its own.

With Groupon worth billions of dollars and the likes of Facebook and Google entering the market with their various coupon offerings, it’s long overdue that someone came up with the idea to pair it with a MLM offering.

Today we’re going to look at one business opportunity that does just that, Qnanza. [Continue reading…]

AdMatrix Review: Holland enters Indian scam market

admatrix-logoWith the news yesterday of India applying laws dating back to 1956 to modern internet companies, it seems India is set for a flood of offshore based companies entering the market – each wanting their share of India’s booming pyramid scheme scam sector.

One of the newer startups is the AdMatrix, based out of Holland (the Netherlands).

Headed up by Anne Wessel, the AdMatrix are claiming that their advertising model, ‘participative matrix marketing’, is far more effective than traditional forms of television, cinema, online and print advertising?

Why?

Because those watching the advertisements actually want to.

The AdMatrix claim that via the more traditional methods of advertising delivery, consumers have become adblind. They site statistics on television advertising time in a given hour in the US and television users habits of changing channels when ads come on.

With the AdMatrix model, viewers have to watch an entire ad, as failing to do so results in them not getting paid.

Sounds good in theory, but unfortunately AdMatrix’s participative matrix marketing is not without it’s own drawbacks.

Well, that and the fact that the AdMatrix compensation plan is heavily geared towards recruitment.

Read on for a full review of the AdMatrix MLM business opportunity. [Continue reading…]

Speak Asia publish misleading official company Q&A

speak-asia-online-logoWith panelists going unpaid and regulators closing in, no doubt a lot of Speak Asia panelists have started putting some very uncomfortable questions towards the company.

With no less than four government agencies also investigating the company, Speak Asia has also been under immense pressure to come up with some tangible answers about their business model.

Sometime over the last twenty four hours Speak Asia has decided to publish a set of frequently asked questions (FAQ), designed to put to rest many of the rumours, allegations and accusations currently surrounding it.

Unfortunately most of the forty three point FAQ Speak Asia have published is nonsense and either doesn’t make sense or  hold up to a bar of scrutiny.

Of the forty three Q&A published by Speak Asia, here’s a rundown and analysis of some of the dubious, interesting and eye opening claims; [Continue reading…]

WMI accuses Gaming Board of collusion and libel

wealth-masters-international-logoLast we checked in, on March 31st the Norwegian Gaming Board upheld it’s original decision that Wealth Masters International was a ‘pyramid scheme’.

At the time, Wealth Masters were given 30 days to appeal the decision and indeed according to information provided by BehindMLM reader M_Norway, they did just that.

On April 18th, 19th and 26th the Gaming Board received correspondence from Wealth Masters (both their US and Scandanavian operations). WMI Scandanavia seems to have officially launched an appeal whilst WMI US seems to have just thrown their support behind one.

In doing so, the US branch of Wealth Masters has definitely taken an aggressive approach. Stopping short of providing proof, in their last letter to the Norwegian Gaming Board, WMI accused the board of colluding with a Norwegian blogger in order to ‘smear, libel and discredit WMI’.

Quite a serious charge for a private company to lay against a government agency I’m sure you’ll agree. [Continue reading…]

BizOppers Review: Failed YourNight network relaunch

bizoppers-logoDespite predictions of 50 million members by November 2011 and having launched to continuous failure since its introduction back in November 2009, earlier this year founder Verne Packer shut down the social network YourNight.

The main reason?

In a letter sent out to YourNight members, Packer confessed that

we know that YN suffered greatly because of too much focus and attention on making money rather than building a huge member base of social users.

With that in mind, just a few short months later the BizOppers social network was announced and went into beta prelaunch. With a history of failure from being too reliant on making money off new memberships rather then providing value in a large memberbase to begin with, BizOppers had to overcome this challenge and evolve.

Partnered with the ‘Super Word of Mouth’ (SWOM) social network (effectively bringing in a reported 140,000+ members), BizOppers recently finished their beta launch and presumably are now in either prelaunch or launch.

Has Packer managed to shake off the recruitment stigma of YourNight with BizOppers and create a real social network that’s actually delivers worth and value to its members?

Let’s find out. [Continue reading…]

speak-asia-online-logoAfter last weekends developments regarding Speak Asia bank account closures in both India and Singapore, it seems the company has found itself simply indefensible.
