Haskell Knight, better known in the MLM industry as Trey Knight, has been indicted on three felony counts of wire fraud.

Back in late February Uforia Science and MaVie announced they were merging into One You DNA. One You DNA appears to have since been abandoned, following the announcement MaVie has merged with Ariix.

As per a November 25th case docket entry, the WorldVentures v. MaVie lawsuit has been settled. As is typical of MLM lawsuits, details of the settlement have not been made public.

A September 11th court order has scheduled the WorldVentures v. Mavie lawsuit trial for December 2nd, 2019.

In response to a lawsuit filed against them by WorldVentures, Ariix has come out swinging. The company has brought to the court’s attention WorldVentures’ pyramid scheme ban in Norway and tax evasion investigations in South Africa, Cyprus, China and Taiwan. Having successfully overturned an ex parte TRO, defendants MaVie and Ariix have survived WorldVentures’ motion for a preliminary injunction.

On June 4th WorldVentures filed a lawsuit against rival MLM companies Ariix and MaVie. In their lawsuit, WorldVentures accused Ariix and MaVie of unfair competition. Based on evidence submitted at the time, WorldVentures’ secured an ex-parte Temporary Restraining Order against both companies. It seems WorldVentures has finally exhausted the “access to travel discounts” pyramid model – with the company looking to expand into nutrition. According to a recently filed lawsuit, mid last year WorldVentures executed a mutual confidentiality agreement with Abboud Barakat and his distribution company, Advanced Wellness Solutions.
