7th Brazilian state opens TelexFree investigation
Following a weekend of protests by TelexFree affiliates over the business crippling injunction granted a fortnight ago, a decision on TelexFree’s second appeal was expected early this week.
Earlier today Roberto Barros, President of Acre Court announced that the appeal will be heard in court next Monday (8th of July).
No doubt the conspiracy theories from TelexFree affiliates will now start up, however Barros advised that because ‘the appeal was brought by lawyers on Friday, there was not enough time to schedule a trial (on Monday the 1st)‘.
Oh and those protests by TelexFree affiliates I mentioned earlier? [Continue reading…]
Cash Unite Review: A multi-social hub?
There is no information on the Cash Unite website indicating who is running or owns the business.
The company’s website domain (“cashunite.com”) was registered on the 27th of January 2012, however the domain registration appears to be that of Cash Unite’s hosting provider rather than the company itself.
Cash Unite’s Privacy Policy isn’t much either, simply stating that
This site (the “Site”) is owned by CashUnite, a United Kingdom limited liability company.
As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]
WCM777 Review: Cloud services & investment returns
World Capital Market (of which WCM777 are supposedly the marketing branch) claim to be based out of the British Virgin Islands. The company launched in 2013 and held a “grand opening” on June 17th in the US.
On the WCM777 website (“wcm777.com”) a “certificate of incorporation” has been uploaded, with the date 8th of May 2009 given as the incorporation date for World Capital Market Inc.
Specifics on WCM777 and where and if they are incorporated anywhere are not provided, with the company only stating in their Income Disclosure Statement that:
WCM777 is a direct selling e-commerce company legally registered in the United States.
A lot of information is provided on the WCM777 website about World Capital Market but nothing specifically on WCM777.
Management wise the Founder of WCM777 and World Capital Market is Xu Ming. Ming’s WCM777 corporate bio states
Xu Ming (is) a devout Christian, an active angel investor, private equity fund investor, M&A expert and investment banker in China and the United States.
He is a strategist in doing optimal allocation and integration of resources globally.
He has successfully taken eight companies public and has sold one of his portfolio companies to a China state-owned large enterprise in China with a value of 400 million RMB.
Dr. Xu has the proven ability and track records to do capital multiplication.
Dr. Xu Ming has a master’s degree in communication management from the University of Southern California. He graduated from Harvard Business School PEVC (venture capital and private equity funds program), and also was educated at UCLA and the University of Chicago in finance, mergers and acquisition, and Wall Street strategy.
He also has a PhD in Theology from Joseph Global Institute.

Dr. Xu Ming is always actively involved in social welfare undertakings and in contributing to the community. His vision is to be united by love and reclaim the 7 mountains, building the city upon a hill.
Ming clearly appears to come from a finance and investment background, whether or not he has any MLM experience is unclear.
WCM777’s CEO is named as Liu Zhi with his prior involvement in the MLM industry again unclear.

Sozo Review: Coffee berry and autoship concerns
Sozo launched in April 2009 and are based out of Texas in the US under the corporate entity name “Sozo Global Inc.”.
Heading up the company is Co-founder, Chairman, CEO and President, Mark Adams (four executive titles… really?). J. Larry Cantrell and John Constantine are also listed as co-founders, however neither appears to have an executive management role within the company.
In Mark Adams’ (right) executive bio, Sozo claims he’s
an experienced entrepreneur with six successful prior business start-ups, all of which remain in business today.
I did try to find out some further information on any one of these prior six business startups but wasn’t able to find any. Whether or not Sozo is Adams’ first MLM venture is not clear.

Police investigate TelexFree for money laundering
With TelexFree expected to file a formal appeal against the injunction that has effectively shut down the business in Brazil, news broke today that police in Acre are now investigating the company for possible money laundering activity.
The Acre division of the Specialized Police in Combating Organized Crime Taskforce (known as DECCO), announced yesterday that they had
opened an inquiry into whether the management of Telexfree committed crimes against the economy and money laundering, among other crimes.
The inquiry investigation marks the second criminal investigation into TelexFree that is publicly known. The first being initiated by the Brazilian Bureau of Consumer Protection, which resulted in the detection of ‘evidence of crimes‘.
The opening of the police investigation, made at the request of the Special Action Group for Combating Organized Crime (GAECO) of MP-AC means the entry of the criminal sphere organ in these investigations.
Also revealed in the iG news report was the conclusion of the previous criminal investigation into the company. After the Bureau of Consumer Protection forwarded their findings to the Ministry of Justice and Finance, the Bureau of Defrauding opened up a case which resulted in the request of arrest warrants for certain “members” of TelexFree. Zeek’s Dawn Wright-Olivares now marketing @ iWowWe
Shortly after she pretty much admitted Zeek Rewards was paying existing affiliates with new affiliate money, Zeek Rewards’ Chief Operating Officer Dawn Wright-Olivares disappeared from the public spotlight.
Whether she knew of not of the impending action against the company by the SEC, by the time they moved in to shut down Zeek Rewards Wright-Olivares was nowhere to be found.
A few months later reports began to trickle in about Wright-Olivares’ new business venture, Savage Smokes. Marketing electronic cigarettes (non-MLM), in light of the revelation she was COO of a $600M Ponzi scheme, it appeared Wright-Olivares had moved on from the MLM industry.
The Savage Smokes website is still up although things seems to have stalled with the last recorded blog entry on the site dates back to the 14th of January. With the future of Savage Smokes remaining uncertain, it appears Wright-Olivares might again have moved on, and this time she’s making an MLM comeback. [Continue reading…]
BBOM Review: Ponzi with GPS tracker front?
BBOM was launched in early 2013 and appears to be based out São Paulo in Brazil. Listed on the company website as founder and President of BBOM is a João Francisco de Paulo (below right).
History wise BBOM claim on their website that they ‘operate through a system of Direct Sales and MLM in order to market innovative products and services of high quality’.
The precursor of the project was the purchase in 2008 of the largest trackers and monitoring of UNEPXMIL.
The company had a high production capacity and the challenge was to expand its market performance and, therefore, expand its business into the franchise sector.

US TelexFree affiliates fed more misinformation
Following TelexFree corporate’s attempts at shovelling a mountain of misinformation onto their US affiliates last Saturday, I thought we might begin to see some sort of coherency between what was pushed onto affiliates and what was actually happening in Brazil.
Following the release of a TelexFree US affiliate conference call held last Sunday though, that seems to be far from the case.
The call featured in this article was hosted by TelexFree US affiliate Randy Crosby and uploaded by Faith Sloan. Both are in the “TelexFree Global Team”, with Sloan declaring on her personal blog that ‘TelexFree is going to be my deal of 2013‘ back in February.
The major focal point of the call appears to be a purported signing of a contract between TelexFree and an unnamed insurance company. For reasons unknown, apparently acknowledging the signing of the contract is ok, but nobody is permitted to publish anything about it: [Continue reading…]

Not surprisingly, TelexFree lost. [Continue reading…]
AddWallet: “We get paid by advertising companies”
Following a series of ongoing problems plaguing the AddWallet business opportunity, the company has struggled to keep up with the expectations of affiliates who invested with them.
The daily ROI percentage paid out continues to leave most affiliates unable to break even and widespread reports from affiliates indicate that revenue-sharing points continue to disappear without an identifiable explanation or regularity.
A day or so a new wave of reports began to hit social media with AddWallet affiliates claiming they were unable to log into their accounts. Those affected were being redirected to the Google homepage after entering in their affiliate ID and password.
Seeking to address these concerns, AddWallet sent out an email to affiliates yesterday advising [Continue reading…]
