What Vemma is up against next Thursday

vemma-logoThere’s a lot of talk in the MLM industry now surrounding the FTC’s temporary shutdown of Vemma.

A lot of folks seem to think this was some sort of knee-jerk reaction, the setting of an example if you will, initiated through blind vengeance with a complete lack of evidence.

That couldn’t be further from the truth, and today we take a look at what went down on the 21st of August. [Continue reading…]

Health enRiches Fun Club Review: Recruit 5 who recruit 5

health-enriches-fun-club-logoThere is no information on the Health enRiches Fun Club website indicating who owns or runs the business.

The company does have an “about us” page on its website, but only following vague marketing spiel is provided:

Health enriches fun club is subsidiary of Health enRiches Internatinal ltd, which distributes health products to Asia, America, Europe and Africa.

The fun club was created to train and raise Healthy millionaires out of a thin air while the mother company sells the products to its subsidiary members.

The Health enRiches Fun Club website domain meanwhile was registered on the 4th of July 2015, with a “Kevin Affram” listed as the owner. An address in Accra, Ghana is also provided.

health-enriches-fun-club-domain-using-midrain-royale-nameserversI was unable to establish what Affram’s role within or relationship to Health enRiches Fun Club is.

I did note though that the Health enRiches Fun Club website uses the name-servers of MidRain Royale.

On their website, MidRain Royale claim to be

a Network Marketing company which distributes health care products from Malaysia.

It has unique compensation plan to reward her cherish distributors around the globe. The head office is located at Adenta SDA Junction 2nd floor Oswald house, Accra –Ghana.

There is no information about who owns or runs MidRain Royale on their website. The company’s website domain (“midrainroyale.com”) was registered on the 14th of January 2014, however the domain registration is set to private.

By all accounts MidRain Royale appears to have collapsed (Alexa stats reveal little to no activity taking place), with Health enRiches Fun Club looking to be a reboot with products from the same Malaysian suppliers.

Given the Health enRiches Fun Club website uses the MidRain Royle name-servers, it is a given that whoever owns MidRain Royale also owns Health enRiches Fun Club.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]

Vemma mount affidavit defense against FTC lawsuit

vemma-logoBreaking his silence on the FTC illegal pyramid scheme complaint filed against Vemma, Founder and CEO B.K. Boreyko has finally addressed his “Vemma faithful”.

bk-boreyko-stunned-alex-morton-leaves-vemma-for-jeunesseWrote Boreyko on Facebook a few hours ago;

Hello Vemma faithful –

Just wanted to clear up a couple of phone calls I’ve received about moving to other companies.

Although I know there’s panic out there, I want you to hear it from me…hang tight. We have a hearing scheduled for September 3rd. I think we’ll win. Until then, I know you want to do the best for your teams and that’s a sign of great leadership.

I will and have always complied with the court’s order in this matter. I’m the kind of guy that would never violate the terms of that order.

If you hear anything different, tell them you talked to me and I said buckle up because there’s great things ahead for Vemma!

Indirectly, Boreyko appears to have broken his silence to address a rumor going around about his position on the FTC complaint. [Continue reading…]

FTC issue warning to MLM opportunities similar to Vemma

ftc-logoYou’d have to be living under a rock to have missed the FTC’s product-based pyramid scheme complaint against Vemma.

Filed earlier this week, the FTC allege that through autoship, Vemma are nothing more than a $200 million illegal pyramid scheme.

Retail sales are believed to be non-existent, with the company’s affiliates instead trained to sign up for autoship themselves and then recruit other affiliates who do the same.

As we wait for a September 3rd hearing to decide the fate of Vemma, now a warning from the FTC to other MLM company’s operating in a similar manner. [Continue reading…]

Passport4Success Review: Better Bid penny auctions

passport4success-logoPassport4Success launched in mid 2014 and are based out of the US state of California.

The company operates in the MLM penny auction niche, with Ruben Rivera credited as the Founder and Lead Distributor of the company.

ruben-rivera-founder-passport4successWhy Rivera (right) doesn’t hold an executive management position within Passport4Success is unclear.

According to Rivera’s Passport4Success bio:

It was while he was with McDonnell Douglas that he was exposed to Network Marketing through a friend and saw the tremendous potential of the industry.

He is a seasoned network marketer of over 22 years building massive organizations in the tens of thousands. He has been on the corporate side of multi-level marketing for over 7 years.

Prior to Passport 4 Success he was the VP of sales for a $900 Million dollar multi-level coffee company overseeing daily operation.

The coffee company referred to above is Organo Gold. Why or when Rivera left Organo Gold is not clear.

Icon Sachs Limited Review: Shady offshore investment pools

icon-sachs-logoThere is no information on the Icon Sachs website indicating who owns or runs the business.

The company does have a “history” and “team” page, however only the following vague marketing spiel is provided:

Icon Sachs is the result of the meeting between a group of sophisticated investors that met in Geneva, Switzerland during mid 2000.

Among this group, two gentlemen from Switzerland had worked for large investment banks and hedge funds, one had experience from the trading floor in Frankfurt, and two more were asset managers working out of Dubai.

The group decided to put together a combination of products into a Structured Leverage Product: a combination of bank guarantees and bonds in the base, but with a big portion of leverage product on the top.

They tested the product with some of the investment banks in Geneva with a fantastic reception. The group formed the internal project “Icon Sachs Sophisticated Investors of Dubai” in 2010 and invested own money.

In 2015 they decided to make the information about these products available to the public. Education packages were created and are now sold from Icon Sachs.

The Icon Sachs Limited website domain (“iconsachs.com”) was registered on the 2nd of April 2015, however the domain registration is set o private.

Icon Sachs appears to be primarily marketed in Europe, with Alexa currently estimating that Sweden and Switzerland make  up a combined 100% of the traffic to the Icon Sachs domain.

It is therefore highly likely that Icon Sachs is being run out of one of these two countries.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]
