Was SMS Dailys the reason AutoXTen founders split?

autoxten-logoFor those following AutoXTen, last week saw a split in the membership of company.

On one side you had Scott Chandler and Brent Robinson, who left the company to work on their own new opportunity, Fast Profits Daily.

And on the other, Jeff Long and previously silent partner Franco Gonzales continuing on with AutoXTen.

At the time of the leadership split, Jeff Long made an announcement;

When you have top leaders leave a program to move on to other ventures, you’re naturally going to hear a lot of rumors, “spin” and stories from members cross promoting and inviting their teams to move to other programs…

This is just the way it is… expect it. And manage your own business accordingly.

Read as is, it implies that either Chandler and Scott, or others within the AutoXTen memberbase were shamelessly cross promoting other ventures they were involved in.

Turns out that whilst part of this might be true, the straw that broke the camel’s back might not have been Scott and Chandler at all, but rather Long and Gonzales themselves. [Continue reading…]

SMS Dailys: Lead generation sold as as coaching

sms-dailys-logoWhen it comes to communication, there’s definitely a school of thought that believes less is more.

If I were to write, let’s say for example, a five thousand word blog post which could just as easily be summarised in a short 500 word article – which would people find more useful?

Yes, when it comes to communication there’s definitely something to be said for being short and to the point. But is it possible to be too concise?

At some point surely you’re hurting the message you’re trying to get across at the expense of its length. And when it comes to something as comprehensive as MLM marketing, training, advice and tips – can you really fit what you want to say in 160 characters or less?

The guys over at SMS Dailys seem to think so. [Continue reading…]

Family IQ: Expensive family counselling + MLM?

family-iq-logoEvery family has its problems and often we’ve got no idea how to deal with the problems our families face or even how to approach them.

Counselling can work but often there’s several obstacles that get in the way. Individual schedules, an unwillingness to participate as a family unit, general un-coperativeness and frustration…

…the list could go on forever.

So what if there was a way to at least recognise areas for improvement within your family?

What if there was a way to do it right from your home… and what if it was packaged as a MLM business opportunity?

Today we’re going to take a look at the ‘Family IQ’ MLM opportunity, which claims to have products that do exactly just that. [Continue reading…]

Fast Profits Daily: Here’s what we know so far…

fast-profits-daily-logoIn record time following the abandoning of their last get rich quick venture, AutoXTen, founders Scott Chandler and Brent Robinson shortly announced thereafter that they’d be launching yet another matrix based opportunity, Fast Profits Daily.

In doing so, Chandler and Robinson have brought on board a third founder, Randal Williams. Williams seems to have made a name for himself as a MLM coach under ‘500k mentor’. No doubt he’ll be offering training tips and support to the Fast Profits Daily member base.

Obviously designed to re-create the prelaunch hype that AutoXTen enjoyed and deliver yet another large injection of funds into its founder’s bank accounts, details on Fast Profits Daily are currently scarce.

That said, enough information has emerged to put together what I believe is a fairly accurate roadmap of what exactly the Fast Profits Daily business opportunity is going to be about.

Fast Profits Daily – here’s what we know so far. [Continue reading…]

Stiforp Review: Useless marketing + recruitment

stiforp-logoTo be successful in a MLM business you have to market yourself. If someone approaches you with an opportunity claiming ‘you don’t have to do anything to get paid’, walk away – they’re full of it.

Despite the lure of a home based business, work is work and you always have to put some effort in if you want to see a return.

With that in mind, it’s no secret that not everybody looking to get into the MLM industry is technically minded.

HTML? Capture pages? Lead generation? – What on Earth is all this nonsense?!

Hoping to capitalise on this demographic, companies like Stiforp have emerged. Claiming they aren’t in competition with MLM companies themselves, but rather want to assist MLM marketers with their already existing ventures, Stiforp claim their marketing tools can help members work toward success in any online business.

The catch?

It’s all generic. In the fast paced online marketplace of today… generic just doesn’t cut it anymore. [Continue reading…]

Scott Chandler & Brent Robinson abandon AutoXTen

autoxten-logo

People like you really make me laugh…seriously, we are not stupid, we’ve been around the block, we know what we’re doing and you are simply just WRONG with everything you’re saying here.

-Jeff Long, co-founder of AutoXTen

Back when AutoXTen members were still adamant that joining AutoXTen and getting others to join it was a legitimate business model, I hypothesised the true nature of the AutoXten business;

As it stands the membership counter is running at 82898 members who have signed up.

Multiplying this by $10 gives an instant revenue injection of $828,980, and if just 10% of those people go on to cycle once (ie. they recruit a few people), AutoXTen stands to make a gross profit of $1,657,960.

If 50% of people cycle, AutoXTen turns over 8 million dollars. That’s more than enough for the three founders to share amongst themselves and a pretty decent return for a few months of hyping up AutoXTen’s prelaunch.

Barely a month after launching, turns out this is exactly what’s happened. [Continue reading…]

WMI plan to go public and issue shares via an IPO

wealth-masters-international-logoA few weeks ago I received an email from someone claiming to be an insider over at Wealth Masters International. Amongst other things, the email claimed that

Wealth Masters is going broke they can barley pay their bills. Behind on many invoices and vendors are threatening collection.

Maybe they are not so “wealthy”.

Every so often I get these types of emails from anonymous sources and like this one, if they don’t contain any additional information to back up their claims, I rarely report on them.

After all, anyone can submit anything. Without official clarification, how am I to know what is and isn’t mere speculation.

Fast forward a few weeks however and just yesterday Wealth Masters announced plans to make an initial public offering (IPO) and float the company on the stock market.

For those of you unfamiliar with the term, an IPO is

when a company (called the issuer) issues common stock or shares to the public for the first time.

They are often issued by smaller, younger companies seeking capital to expand, but can also be done by large privately owned companies looking to become publicly traded.

Of course that’s all very well, but why have WMI founders Kip Herriage and Karl Bessey decided to publicly trade the company?

More importantly, what does it mean for you as a distributor, your business and your potential leads? [Continue reading…]

Is Marketing Beyond Organic too much trouble?

beyond-organic-logoWhen I reviewed the Beyond Organic business opportunity yesterday, one of the things I touched upon competition wise, was that independent Mission Marketers, apart from competing amongst themselves, would also being going toe to toe with brick and mortar stores, restaurants, cafes and online stores.

When you take into consideration that you’re capped to a US based market, the buying power of a business vs. that of an independent distributor and finally the exposure advantage a business has over an individual – you’re pretty much already looking at an uphill battle competition wise.

In addition to this, whilst researching Beyond Organic I also came across some very interesting rules and regulations governing personal websites and marketing literature of Beyond Organic’s Mission Marketers.

It seems that not only do independent Mission Marketers have to risk being potentially squashed by big business, but that Beyond Organic itself seems rather hell bent on making its members marketing campaigns an extremely difficult task. [Continue reading…]

Beyond Organic: Jordan Rubin’s bible diet + MLM

beyond-organic-logoThankfully I’ve never been sick enough to warrant a serious examination of my diet. That said, I try to eat a reasonably balanced variety of vegetables, meats and dairy – although here in Taiwan that can often prove to be a challenge.

Back in 1994, Jordan Rubin was diagnosed with ‘Crohn’s Disease. In addition to this, he also had arthritis, diabetes, chronic fatigue, hair loss and anemia.

Being a religious man and after allegedly travelling the world and trying everything to get back to health, Rubin claims he eventually turned to the bible for answers.

After healing himself, an act Rubin attributes solely to his bible diet, he went on to write ‘The Maker’s Diet’. Along with Rubin’s new book and kosher diet so too was a new ambition born;

To change the health of the world, one life at a time’. [Continue reading…]

Zurvita Review: Health, business and… god?

zurvita-logoWhen it comes to business, specifically MLM, ‘god’ isn’t something I’d normally associate with the industry.

Sure, people believe in god that work in MLM but as far as the various MLM businesses go out there – most of them keep religion and business seperate.

Not Zurvita.

A quick browse over to the Zurvita opportunity website and listed as one of the three ‘core principles‘ of the company is to

create a company that glorifies God

Fair enough but how exactly do you glorify god in running a MLM? With this question in mind I continued my research into Zurvita.

Here’s what I found. [Continue reading…]
