BitradeX has been added to the Malaysian Securities Commission’s Investor Alert List.

Citing securities fraud, the Malaysian SEC added BitradeX to its Investor Alert List on March 17th, 2026.

Following an internal investigation, the Malaysian SEC found BitradeX was “carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities”.

The Malaysian SEC flagged BitradeX’s website, Google Play Store and Apple App Store app listings.

BitradeX is a Chinese MLM crypto Ponzi fronted by well-known French footballer, Olivier Giroud:

Giroud announced he’d signed on as BitradeX’s “Brand Ambassador” in June 2025;

As of February 2026, SimilarWeb was tracking ~1.6 million monthly visits to BitradeX’s website.

Top sources of BitradeX website over the same period were Brazil (8%), Japan (8%), Saudi Arabia (8%), the US (7%) and Malaysia (6%).

BitradeX is not registered to offer securities in any jurisdiction. In addition to Malaysia, Thailand issued a BitradeX securities fraud warning last month.
