Trunori operates in the nutritional supplements MLM niche.

The company is tied to Trunori Scientific LLC, a Mississippi registered company owned by Christopher Collins, Danielle Collins and Donald King III.

Chris and Danielle Collins are cited as Trunori’s co-founders on its website. The Collinses are former top earners in  Le-vel. Chris Collins joined back in 2014.

It’s unclear why the Collinses left Le-vel.

Donald King III isn’t named on Trunori’s website. There’s a Donald O. King III in Mississippi who has appeared in unrelated legal filings and company registrations, but I’m not 100% sure it’s the same King.

Either way beyond being a Manager of Trunori Scientific LLC, it’s unclear what the connection between King III and Trunori as an MLM company is.

I’m also flagging Trunori Scientific LLC being registered in Mississippi given the Collinses are based out of Utah. Not sure what the story is there.

Trunori’s Compensation Plan

Trunori’s compensation plan pays on the sale of supplements to retail customers and recruited promoters.

Trunori Promoter Ranks

There are ten promoter ranks within Trunori’s compensation plan.

Along with their respective qualification criteria, they are as follows:

  1. Trunori Partner – sign up as a Trunori promoter
  2. Elite Partner – generate and maintain 60 PV a month and recruit one promoter
  3. Director – generate and maintain 120 PV and 2000 GV a month
  4. Elite Director – generate and maintain 180 PV and 5000 GV a month
  5. Executive – generate and maintain 300 PV and 10,000 GV a month
  6. Elite Executive – maintain 300 PV a month and generate and maintain 25,000 GV a month
  7. Diamond – maintain 300 PV a month and generate and maintain 50,000 GV a month
  8. Elite Diamond – maintain 300 PV a month and generate and maintain 100,000 GV a month
  9. Crown Leader – maintain 300 PV a montha nd generate and maintain 200,000 GV a month
  10. Legacy Leader – maintain 300 PV a month and generate and maintain 300,000 GV a month

PV stands for “Personal Volume”. PV is sales volume generated by retail customer sales and a Trunori promoters’ own orders.

GV stands for “Group Volume”. GV is PV generated by a Trunori promoter and their downline.

Note that from Elite Director, no more than 40% of required GV can come from any one unilevel leg.

Retail Commissions

Trunori pays a 30% sales volume commission on retail customer orders.

A residual retail commission is paid monthly based on total retail commission order volume for the month:

  • up to 499 PV – no bonus
  • 500 to 999 PV – 5% bonus
  • 1000 PV or more – 10% bonus

Note that a Trunori promoter’s own orders are for some reason counted towards retail sales volume (PV).

10-Day Sprint Bonus

A Trunori promoter receives $200 per three new retail customers they refer who “purchase a bundle of products on the Prestige Program”, within their first ten days as a promoter.

The Prestige Program isn’t defined but I’m assuming is retail customer autoship.

Customer Prestige Pool

Trunori takes 1% of company wide sales volume and places it into the Customer Prestige Pool.

Trunori promoters earn shares in the Customer Prestige Pool. One share is awarded for the first three retail customers with an active monthly autoship order. After the first three customers, one share is awarded per customer on monthly autoship.

Note that while shares are accumulated monthly, the Customer Prestige Pool is paid out annually.

Recruitment Commissions

Trunori promoters earn a commission when a newly recruited promoter signs up with an enrollment kit:

  • recruit an Ignite Kit promoter and receive $40, $20 is paid to the first upline and $10 to the second upline
  • recruit an Elevate Kit promoter and receive $100, $50 is paid to the first upline and $25 to the second upline
  • recruit a Legacy Kit promoter and receive $200, $100 is paid to the first upline and $50 to the second upline

Note the above amounts are doubled if a new Trunori promoter, within their first ten days, recruits three promoters who sign up with an enrollment bundle.

Enroller Bonus

Trunori pays the Enroller Bonus up three levels of recruitment.

The Enroller Bonus is 10% of sales volume generated by personally recruited promoters (level 1), promoters they recruit (level 2) and promoters they recruit (level 3).

Business Builder Bonus

Trunori promoters receive a $500 Business Builder Bonus when, within a rolling 4-week period, they

  1. recruit three enrollment bundle promoters; and
  2. three of their recruits recruit three enrollment bundle promoters.

Residual Commissions

Trunori pays residual commissions via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places a promoter at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited promoter placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 promoters recruit new promoters, they are placed on level 2 of the original promoter’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 promoters recruit new promoters, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

Residual commissions are paid as 5% of sales volume generated across the unilevel team up to six levels in depth:

  • Elite Partners earn 5% on level 1 (personally recruited promoters
  • Directors earn 5% on levels 1 and 2
  • Elite Directors earn 5% on levels 1 to 3
  • Executives earn 5% on levels 1 to 4
  • Elite Executives earn 5% on levels 1 to 5
  • Diamonds and higher earn 5% on levels 1 to 6

Check Match Bonus

Trunori pays a Check Match Bonus on downline promoters based on rank:

  • Diamond ranked promoters earn a 10% match on all personally recruited promoters
  • Elite Diamond ranked promoters earn a 10% match on up to three Elite Diamond or higher ranked downline promoters per unilevel team leg, paid only on residual commissions and recruitment commissions

National Leader Bonus Pools

Trunori places “at least 3%” of company wide sales volume into three smaller National Leader Bonus Pools.

  • Elite Diamonds earn a share in a 1% Elite Diamond Pool
  • Crown Leaders earn a share in a 1% Crown Leader Pool
  • Legacy Leaders earn a share in a 1% Legacy Leader Pool

Joining Trunori

Basic Trunori promoter membership is $29.95 and then $9.95 a month.

New Trunori promoters can optionally sign up with an enrollment kit:

  • Ignite Kit – $179.99
  • Elevate Kit – $499.99
  • Legacy Kit – $999.99

The difference between the kits is bundled Trunori products.

Trunori Conclusion

I’m having trouble understanding why Trunori exists. I think the reason it’s not clear is tied up in why Chris and Danielle Collins left Le-vel.

Trunori presents with a supplement lineup that’s pretty generic; overall wellness, protein powder and “overall metabolic wellness”. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with Trunori’s supplements, but why would I choose them over equally generic competition?

Moving on to Trunori’s compensation plan, retail commissions bonuses are undermined by no retail volume requirements for rank qualification.

This makes Trunori’s claim about retail sales questionable:

The focus for success with Trunori is to create a strong base of retail customers.

It’s entirely possible to ignore retail sales and max out Trunori’s compensation plan.

Something else that stood out was the jump from 0 GV a month at Elite Partner to 2000 GV a month at Director. I’m pretty confident that’s a mountain only a very small percentage of Trunori promoters are going to surpass.

And being just the third promoter rank, that’s a problem.

For the promoters who do make the 2000 GV jump, I have to ask how much of that is likely to come from recruited Trunori promoters on autoship?

PV capping out at 300 without any retail volume qualifiers doesn’t do anything to suggest retail sales are going to be a contributing factor.

The cynic in me sees the Director 2000 GV requirement as a hurdle to keep the vast majority of Trunori promoters at Elite Partner. This restricts their earning potential, allowing Trunori to maximize breakage revenue.

In summary there’s nothing overtly offensive about Trunori as an MLM opportunity, I just can’t make out what it brings to the table.

Approach with caution.
