Scoville: “Maybe the State of Utah Securities Division is wrong”

traffic-monsoon-logoThere’s nothing new on the legal front so far this week, but that doesn’t mean events are quietly unfolding behind the scenes.

The latest has seen Charles Scoville disable comments on his Facebook page and provide an update in which he claims his “intentions” should trump committing Ponzi fraud.

Traffic Monsoon investors are also actively encouraging their downlines not to contact the court-appointed Receiver, suggesting an email might have been sent out to affiliates. [Continue reading…]

Ernie Ganz tied to new Traffic Monsoon website

traffic-monsoon-logoThere’s a whole load of *winkwink* we don’t know who’s running the new Traffic Monsoon website *nudgenudge* going around at the moment.

Perhaps none more comical than what Ernie Ganz is telling his fellow Traffic Monsoon investors.

Free Mart create bogus BehindMLM website to air dirty laundry

free-mart-logoIf an MLM company wants to issue a press-release, the legitimate thing to do is publish it in your website and social media accounts. If they want a bit more exposure, they can even publish the information on the countless press-release syndication websites that exist.

What Free Mart have instead chosen to do is imitate BehindMLM, complete with a bogus website, comments and who knows what else.

This is scummy, even for MLM. [Continue reading…]

Traffic Monsoon scammers launch new website

traffic-monsoon-logoIn what is probably only going to dig a deeper hole for Charles Scoville, scammers have launched a reboot of the Traffic Monsoon website.

Mentoring Millionaires Review: $147 chain-recruitment and gifting

mentoring-millionaires-logoThere is no information on the Mentoring Millionaires website indicating who owns or runs the business.

The Mentoring Millionaires website domain (“mentoringmillionaires.net”) was first registered on the 17th of August 2015. The domain registration was recently updated on July 14th, 2016, suggesting this might be when the current owner(s) took possession of it.

The official Mentoring Millionaires Facebook group has two admins, Val Smyth and Tracey Jamieson.

Smyth first popped up on BehindMLM’s radar in 2015 as co-admin of Total Takeover.

Total Takeover was a relatively short-lived recruitment scheme. A few months after launch Total Takeover collapsed.

Later in the year Smyth returned with The Elite Networker, another recruitment-driven opportunity.

A visit to The Elite Networker site today reveals it has been redirected to a Valentus capture page belonging to Dave Lear (one of the co-admins of The Elite Networker).

When it launched last year, Tracey Jamieson was the Chief Operating Officer over at iTravel Party.

My Earnings Review: Seven-tier matrix cycler Ponzi

my-earnings-logoThe My Earnings FAQ states that the company is ‘own(ed) by Mike Seacrest and Eric Chin‘.

A marketing video on the My Earnings website is hosted on a YouTube channel bearing the name “Kevin Icecreast”.

I wasn’t able to find any information on Mike Seacrest, but Eric Chin and Kevin Icecreasts’s Facebook profiles are bogus.

Kevin Icecreast’s profile photo is that of the director Kevin Smith. Eric Chin’s Facebook profile uses a photo of Kevin Marks, a former Google employee.

The Eric Chin Facebook profile popped up earlier this year in conjunction with Progmatic AdsPaid, a Ponzi scheme launched in January.

At the time of publication the Progmatic AdsPaid website domain was unresponsive, suggesting the scheme has collapsed.

A fourth name appears in the My Earnings domain registration. The My Earnings domain was registered on March 8th 2016 and lists Michael Dwen as the owner.

An address in Belize is also provided, with further research revealing it to belong to International Corporate Services.

International Corporate Services advise on their website that they provide shell companies in Belize for $650.

Realistically there’s a good chance the bogus Facebook profiles attached to My Earnings’ admins belong to the same person.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]
