Just a quick update, after being in communication with the NSW office of fair trading I now have in my hands written proof (according to their legal advice), Liberty League International has been classified a pyramid scheme in NSW.

Expect a full writeup along with documentation uploaded tonight.

Duped by an affiliate link I thought I might have stumbled across one of the changes or possible the ‘game changing’ announcement that was supposed to happen at yesterdays Supercharged Saturday.

Turns out the big announcement has nothing to do with the Liberty League site itself. Tipped off by a Whirlpool forum member phife, it seems the brand Liberty League international has been scrapped and now associates will peddle Polaris Media Group.

This morning when I woke up before writing my previous post I had a routine look around at what had happened in the world overnight and did some brief site maintenance. After I’d written my post I had a quick check on the Liberty League website to see if anything had change.

Something “game changing” was supposed to be announced today so I was curious.

Nothing had changed but I left the website open as I headed out the door for some breakfast to meet up with a friend. When I got back I noticed something strange.

Yes it’s official.

Yesterday afternoon Rod gave us the exciting news that the NSW office of fair trading had classified Liberty League as a pyramid scheme. Eager to confirm the news myself I sent them an email last night and decided to follow it up with a phone call this morning.

I just got off the phone to the NSW office of fair trading and can now confirm that Liberty League has been found to be a pyramid trading scheme and is illegal to participate in or promote in the Australian state of New South Wales.

If you’re reading this page it’s probably because either you’re doing some research into Liberty League before joining or unfortunately have already lost thousands and have very little to show for it.

If you’re just looking for further information on Liberty League I suggest you start from the beginning. You might want to go grab a coffee and something to eat because there’s a fair bit of info to get through.

If you fall into the latter category I hate to be the one to break bad news to you but there’s probably not much hope of recovering any of your money from Liberty League. Refunds must be approved by Liberty League but if granted must come out of your advisor’s pocket.

Unfortunately for you your advisor is either dirt poor and has probably already spent your money on future conference tickets, advertising campaigns or other get-rich-quick schemes. If you’re “lucky” and your advisor is one of the successful leaders, well then their probably too busy buying new shoes, Porches and apartments to waste time giving you a refund.

They didn’t get rich giving associates refunds now did they.

Liberty League’s Supercharged Saturday is almost around the corner and in a bid to capitalize on the event, associates have begun to discount conference tickets.

The one day event which runs for 12 hours is being held on Saturday August 29th at the RACV Royal Pines Resort in Queensland.

I can confirm at least one summit advisor is offering the discount but am not sure if they all are. Given all associates are supposed to comply with the same rules and marketing conditions I imagine though that the same discounts have been rolled out Australia-wide. [Continue reading…]

In a recent communication to its associates during a Summit Advisor Mastermind call, Liberty League has banned the use of dollar amounts and the word ‘potential’ in marketing.

The ban comes from the internal compliance department and covers online, offline and verbal advertising.

Associates are no longer allowed to advertise specific dollar amounts (ie. EARN $500,000 in your first year OMG!), or use the word potential (ie. earn a potential $100,000 CEO income in your first month!) to represent incomes.

No official reason has been made public (as far as I know) as to why after eight years of operating in the US and two in Australia Liberty League have decided to implement the ban. [Continue reading…]

Over the last 48 hours shockwaves have torn through Liberty league following the announcements that two of the most well known associates in Liberty League, Michael Hamburger and Rhonda Swan, have left the company.

It’s easy to brush off new associates quitting their business after trying to make it work as ‘not dedicated enough’ or ‘not following the system’. When your top earners start pulling out one after another however, it’s time to admit something’s not working.
