Using Zeek Rewards as a pure investment program?
Following the Zeek Rewards review I published yesterday, I got into an interesting discussion with BehindMLM reader ‘Colsta’ about the way he was using Zeek Rewards (you can read the discussion in the comments section of the review linked to above).
Completely ignoring the MLM business opportunity or penny auction side of things, instead Colsta (and presumably many others like him) chose to work the Zeek Rewards compensation plan as a pure investment opportunity.
I’ll go into exactly how this works in a bit, but after looking over the methodology involved… I can’t help but ask how this is going to be sustainable in the long term.
Not withstanding some pretty dodgy looking practices being undertaken by Zeek Rewards and Zeekler themselves. [Continue reading…]
Did PreLaunch Australia ever officially launch?
A few months ago, Sam Fawahl, Bassem Tal and Adam Marks began the viral marketing campaign for PreLaunch Australia.
Designed to be the first public membership drive for the trio’s Beehive Strategy, PreLaunch Australia attracted an alleged 36,000+ free signups in just a few short months.
The company itself touted this as being ‘the largest global pre-launch in history’.
With a launch date of two weeks ago, over the last thirteen days, anyone visiting the PreLaunch Australia website has been left staring at this;
So what happened? Did PreLaunch Australia actually launch? And if so… why haven’t they updated anything and instead chosen to keep their members and the public in the dark? [Continue reading…]
iWowWe Oct 2011 compensation plan v3.66 changes
I’m not entirely sure why, but in what looks like an effort to expand the previous plan, iWowWe announced changes to its compensation plan last Monday which will come into effect starting October 1st, 2011.
Changes to the existing compensation plan include
- new joining options for new members
- the introduction of membership ranks
- a new infinity override bonus
- changes to the retail commissions structure
- expansion of the existing 3×7 matrix to a 3×9 model with possible additional legs
- changes to the matching bonus
Today we’re going to take a detailed look at the changes iWowWe have announced, along with a comparison (where applicable) to the old compensation plan equivalent being replaced and/or updated. [Continue reading…]
Zeek Rewards Review: SPAM, Penny Auctions & MLM
Ever heard of Zeekler?
Yeah, I hadn’t either but when the company Zeek Rewards came across my desk for review I soon learned that Zeekler was Zeek Reward’s parent company, with the latter operating as the affiliate and marketing company of the former.
Dealing primarily in Penny Auctions (I’ll go more into that later), Zeekler aims to provide its members an income opportunity through its affiliate arm Zeek Rewards.
Read on for a full review of the Zeek Rewards business opportunity. [Continue reading…]
MyShoppingGenie: Paid members are the only users?
The world of online retail is a highly competitive marketplace. With billions of dollars at stake and thousands, if not millions lost in sales the difference between ranking #1 for your specific product or service and even #2, companies spend millions each year vying for that coveted organic search top spot.
Then there are companies like MyShoppingGenie who take a different approach. Instead of competing organically and being certified as relevant to a particular search query, MyShoppingGenie requires the user to install additional software which then ‘sits on top’ of the end-users browser.
Couple this with a binary based MLM style compensation plan and you’ve got the MLM business opportunity, MyShoppingGenie. Today we’re going to take a closer look at MyShoppingGenie, read on for a complete review. [Continue reading…]
Viradyne struggles with ‘very low quality’ users
Why do you use search on the internet?
If you’re like most of us, it’s to pinpoint specific information we’re after at any given time and digest it.
As such, when we punch something into a search engine we expect the most relevant of results and that, pretty much sums up what the entire search engine industry is about. Coupled with contextually relevant ads, and you’ve also pretty much got the business model for the industry too.
Of course both of those definitions are painted with the broadest of brushes but still accurately represent what search will and always will be about for the end-user.
Relevant results.
Meanwhile for the search engines, being businesses it’s naturally all about the money. As an end-user though, when was the last time you searched for anything hoping to make a profit?
That, ladies and gentlemen, brings us to the dilemma of Viradyne. Apart from having name that sounds like something big phrama came up with for your vagina, Viradyne aims to bridge the commercial side of a search engine with the needs of the end users using it.
The problem inherently is that in doing so, since opening it’s doors to the general public, Viradyne appears to be suffering from a memberbase that largely consists of, as Viradyne CEO Paul Koury puts it, ‘low quality users‘.
Low quality of course not in the sense that the users themselves are of low quality, but rather in terms of metrics that measure the success, credibility of a search portal dependent on advertising, Viradyne’s current users are proving to be a headache for the company. [Continue reading…]
AISPA’s Ashok Bahirwani is completely misguided
I was forced to start this update today with the above proverb after reading various news items which were not only factually incorrect but in most case was an attempt to place before the readers/viewers old wine in a new bottle.
This is the case of churning out old news in new packaging. Was this an attempt of a frustrated adversary?
I ask myself a few questions. Why over the last couple of days have the Speakasian Panelists been bombarded with so much disinformation about the impending investigation of individual panelists by the authorities and the seizing of their accounts?
Is it to spread panic amongst the panelist family? Is this a desperate attempt by the enemy to influence the authorities against SAOL?
Thus is the opening tone of All India Speak Asian Panelist Association’s (AISPA) President Ashok Bahiwani’s latest update published on their website.
And fair enough, albeit Bahirwani could look a bit less cultish by referring to anyone negatively reporting on Speak Asia as ‘the enemy’, but I digress.
Working for Speak Asia’s members, it must certainly be frustrating to see things misreported in the media. Good on him for addressing the misreporting and getting some truth out there.
However, after making his corrections, Bahirwani then launches into some obviously ridiculous diatribes of his own.
Why chastise the media when you yourself are no better?
Here are the choice take away points from Bahirwani’s latest update… and why he’s utterly misguided and wrong. [Continue reading…]
Viradyne: Cluttered search with MLM compensation
Remember Netscape search, Yahoo, MSN, AOL… and all the other ‘content rich’ web search portals nobody used…
Yeah, I can’t either.
Before Google I remember I was using Altavista as it was uncluttered and when Google came along with its even less cluttered interface (just a search box!) and relevant search results… well, the rest is history.
Despite this universal trend towards an uncluttered search engine page (hell, even Microsoft gave it a second crack with Bing), ViraDyne have decided that there’s still a market for cluttered horrible looking search pages.
Combined with a MLM style compensation plan, they even think there’s some profit to be made with it too. [Continue reading…]
The Beehive Strategy – Reducing MLM to recruitment
Shortly after the launch of PreLaunch Australia, I uncovered that it was nothing more than a marketing campaign for the public prelaunch phase of The Beehive Strategy.
Utilising the MLM company MyShoppingGenie, The Beehive Strategy sought to maximise the recruitment bonuses offered by My Shopping Genie by getting everybody to join in a systematic manner.
Whilst the PreLaunch Australia campaign wrapped up last night at midnight, as of yet The Beehive Strategy still hasn’t officially launched (at least not online in any official capacity). Despite the delay in transitioning over from prelaunch to official launch however, today I’m going to jump the gun and give you a review of the Beehive Strategy.
What it’s about, what you as a member will need to do if you join the strategy and how exactly as a member the Beehive Strategy will enable you to make money. [Continue reading…]
Zija Review: Moringa marketed through MLM
Moringa is a type of tree that originates in Northwestern India along the foot of the Himalayas and is now grown widely in tropical climates.
Unlike most trees, much of the Moringa tree is edible and ‘its leaves ‘contain all essential amino acids and are rich in protein, vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, and minerals’.
Some retailers, such as ‘Earth Goodness Ltd’, even go one step further and claim that Moringa serves as an effective medicinal treatment for cancer, diabetes, arthritis, herpes and even HIV and AIDS.
Seeking to bring Moringa to a mainstream market, today we’re going to review the Zija MLM business opportunity. [Continue reading…]
