Neucopia Review: Recruitment & cash gifting hybrid

Neucopia state that their name is derived from the latin word ‘copia’, meaning abundance. Neu is apparently ‘new’ in German so I guess the idea here is “new abundance”.

Neucopia list their company address as a virtual office suite in the state of Nevada in the US and is headed up by CEO Rich Cook (photo below right), who the company undersells as having

a background of success after success (and) becoming a top income earner multiple times over in the network marketing arena.

Rich is a leader’s leader…(who) excel(s) in virtually everything he does (and) create(s) friendships with everyone he meets.

I tried to research Rich Cook’s MLM history and didn’t really turn up anything.

Curiously, the domain ‘neucopia.com’ has was registered on the 15th May 2012, however the domain registration information is set to private.

Back in June 2012 though Neucopia affiliate ‘Kevin’, who claimed Neucopia was ‘not a scam, nor a spam!!!!!, wasn’t selling anything and was merely looking to ‘recruit…people to join us‘,’ stated that Rich Cook ‘actually lives in San Diego, CA‘. [Continue reading…]

Zubaduba Review: $8 1-up pyramid scheme

Foreword: On September 9th 2012, Zubaduba got rid of the compensation plan reviewed here and relaunched with a new business model that strongly resembles a Ponzi scheme.

This review is kept intact in the interest of preserving the company’s history. /end foreword

There is no information on the Zubaduba website indicating who owns or operates the business.

The domain ‘zubaduba.com’ was registered on the 26th June 2012, however the domain registration is set to private.

As always, if a MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]

Real Estate Worldwide Review: A 3-up $15,000 club

In May 2010 Liberty League founder Brent Payne launched Avant. Avant operates in the personal development MLM niche and market a series of personal development courses to customers.

Since their launch Avant hasn’t really taken off and seems to have floundered on the coattails of the MLM personal development boom of the early 2000s.

Late last year in November Payne brought on Michael Hamburger as a “co-founder”, following his departure from Wealth Masters International but the outcome of that partnership in terms of company growth and distributor success is unclear.

In a move perhaps indicative of Avant’s lack of overall traction Payne recently launched Real Estate Worldwide and today we’re taking a look at Payne’s new company.  Read on for a full review of the Real Estate Worldwide home-based business opportunity. [Continue reading…]

Ludaxx Review: Sugar blocking weightloss

When Ludaxx first popped up on my radar, I hoped it would be some sort of alien spaceship fusion with network marketing. I have no idea what that actually means, but with the Ludaxx website refusing to divulge any information about the business unless I clicked an affiliate link I let my imagination run wild with all sorts of ideas.

When I bypassed Ludaxx’s silly affiliate referral system, things looked promising as a dramatic score started playing and the Ludaxx marketing video rolled tape (actual screenshot below):

There is a threat…

An epidemic is here…

Everyone is at risk…

It’s in our food…

It is in our drinks…

It is toxic to our body…

We loved it as kids…and became addicted…

But it can hurt us… and destroy our lives…

They had me hooked. Just what on Earth had these aliens done and what was Ludaxx going to have me selling to fight back with? Food and drink cleaning pills? Teleportation devices?! FREAKING LASER GUNS?!? I DON’T CARE, WHATEVER IT TAKES JUST SIGN ME UP NOW!

Moments later however I was somewhat disappointed to learn that Ludaxx had nothing to do with little green men from outerspace, much less an alien invasion.

Well, at least not unless they were invading Earth running around force-feeding everyone sugar. Read on for a full review of the Ludaxx MLM business opportunity. [Continue reading…]

Gobza Review: Commissions on Daily Deal purchases

Gob (noun): A lump or clot of a slimy or viscous substance.

Gobza probably isn’t the smartest choice for a MLM company name and possibly an indication as to why it’s unclear as to who owns or runs the company.

The Gobza privacy policy mentions that anyone who has questions about Gobza should write to ‘Tops Global Inc, One Riverway, Suite 1700 Houston, TX 77056’.

I wasn’t able to find any further information on Tops Global Inc., however a search of ‘One Riverway, Suite 17000 Houston, TX 77056’ reveals a number of businesses using this address, strongly indicating it’s a virtual office.

The domain ‘gobza.com’ was registered on the 19th August 2010, however the domain registration is set to private.

The server that hosts the Gobza website (50.63.46.1) appears to be a private hosting machine with a number of websites on it owned by a ‘Joanne Nicholls’, operating out of New South Wales in Australia.

Websites hosted on the same server as Gobza include:

  • toptotoesalon.com (domain offline, registered in 2008 by Nicholls)
  • bodaciouskids.com (website discontinued, domain registration set to private)
  • toptotoespa.com (Nicholls listed as ‘Spa Director’ on website and owner of the domain)
  • instantgiftvouchers.com (website contact address in NSW Australia, domain owned by Nicholls)
  • salonsuccessclub.com.au (domain owned by Nicholls)

The exact relationship between Gobza, Top Global Inc. and Joanne Nicholls isn’t clear however it appears as if she is at the very least somehow involved in Gobza.

Why this isn’t mentioned or clarified on the Gobza website is a mystery. Read on for a full review of the Gobza MLM business opportunity. [Continue reading…]

Dubai Fun Club Review: Recruit and fly to Dubai

There is no information on the Dubai Fun Club website indicating who owns or runs the business.

The domain ‘dubaifunclub.com’ was registered on the 14th October 2011 however the domain registration information is set to private.

Surf Daily Ads Review: Pyramid scheme feeds Ponzi

There is no information on the Surf Daily Ads website indicating who owns or runs the business.

The domain ‘surfdailyads.com’ was registered on the 15th April 2012, however the domain registration information is set to private.

The hosting machine the Surf Daily Ads website runs on (IP: 208.91.132.108) appears to be a private hosting machine and has previously hosted the website ‘JesusBux’ (jesusbux.com).

JesusBux was a MLM opportunity that paid members to view ads as well as any ads viewed by members they recruited into the scheme (.03 – .08 cents per ad). The JesusBux opportunity launched in May 2011 and appears to have collapsed shortly after.

The domain jesusbux.com came up for renewal at the end of May 2012 but was not renewed by the owner.

As always, if a MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]

ProfitAdz Review: Combined Ponzi pyramid hybrid

The domain ‘profitadz.com’ was registered on the 31st May 2012 however the registration information is set to private.

The ProfitAdz website claims that

ProfitAdz is owned by Thomas Sullivan and was developed along with his business partner Robert Scott.

Thomas Sullivan has been a successful affiliate and program owner for many years online. Robert Scott is a successful online affiliate who has collaborated with Thomas Sullivan on many of his programs and marketing campaigns.

As a result of their successful collaboration they have now created Thomas Scott Enterprises.

I was unable to find any further information on either Thomas Sullivan, Robert Scott (too generic a name) or Thomas Scott Enterprises.

Typically when the owner of a MLM opportunity doesn’t want you to know who is running it they use made up generic Christian sounding names and pending any further information (such as company location or further information on Thomas Scott Enterprises), this appears to be the case with ProfitAdz.

Update 6th July, 2012 – BehindMLM reader ‘Gabe‘ found a Thomas Sullivan on Youtube promoting ProfitAdz (no referral link but the actual opportunity itself), as well as another website called ‘A Better Relationship’:

The WHOIS registration for the domain ‘abetterrelationship.net’ reveals Sullivan is operating out of Heathridge, Perth in Australia.

Previous MLM opportunities run by Sullivan include:

  • Power of 3 (powerof3.org) – a matrix based pyramid scheme (recruitment based)
  • Adzpays (adzpays.com) – $10 Ponzi scheme that offered a 200% ROI. Started in late 2011 and appears to have slowed down (Sullivan used the email address ‘admin@adzpays.com’ to register abetterrelationship.net with)

No doubt the pending collapse of Adzpays has prompted Sullivan to start ProfitAdz, which appears to share an extremely similar business model. [Continue reading…]

Seven Targets Review: Oldschool pyramid + travel

There is no information on the Seven Targets website indicating who runs or owns the business (also known as ‘Seven Targets International’, formerly ‘Seven Targets Limited’).

The domain ‘7tgs.com’ was registered on the 7th October 2010 however and lists a Gohn Mickal as the registrant, operating out of the state of Colorado in the US.

The listed street address, 44 Cook St. in Denver, appears to be a virtual office. This throws into question the overall credibility of the information provided.

Seven Targets describe themselves as ‘an internationally acclaimed direct selling company‘ with ‘a business model faster than thoughts and payable beyond your imagination‘.

Despite my best efforts, I was unable to find any information regarding any international acclaim Seven Targets has been credited with. Nor was I able to find any hard statistics on just how fast their business model runs in order to verify their claims that it runs “faster than thoughts”.

As for payable beyond my imagination… unless Seven Targets is a purely hypothetical business, that claim seems entirely unlikely.

Bids That Give Review: Charity and penny auctions?

There are so many terrible things that happen to children all over the world.

Right now a little boy is dying of hunger, a little girl just got sold by her mother and is being forced into life as a sex slave.

Right now children are being physically abused and then there’s so many children who are just left by themselves and there’s no one there to love or care for them.

I dunno why bad things happen to innocent little children but they do. But here’s what I do know, all of us can do something about it.

You see, that’s our number one purpose. This company was founded to be a true partnership between those children, the childrens charities it supports and its affiliates who make it all happen.

– Randy Jeffers, founder of BidsThatGive

No doubt we’ve all heard the emotional sales pitches of the various charities that attempt to solicit donations from us to put towards the various causes they represent.

Today we look at one MLM company who hope to use these same emotionally appealing sales pitches to get you to join and participate in their penny auction business:

Our company, BidsThatGive – where every bid helps a kid, is a “global business model” designed to help underprivileged children with every bid that is purchased or given away.
