VIP Global Stars operates in the nutritional supplement MLM niche.

The company is based out of Texas and owned by LaCore Enterprises.

As is consistent with LaCore Enterprises companies, owner Terry LaCore does not front VIP Global Stars.

Instead VIP Global Global Stars is headed up by co-CEOs Eric Caprarese and Larry Lane.

BehindMLM last came across Eric Caprarese (right) in 2019, as founder and CEO of One World Network.

One World Network was a spinoff of B-Epic which, at the time Caprarese was also President and CEO of.

Caprarese still cites himself as President and CEO of B-Epic on his LinkedIn profile.

Based on Caprarese’s LinkedIn profile, One World Network, which essentially functioned as a pyramid scheme, appears to have collapsed on or around March 2022.

For reference, VIP Global Stars launched at the end of April 2022.

Larry Lane was B-Epic’s Master Distributor. After BehindMLM published our updated 2018 review, Lane attempted to spam our comments with a referral link.

Before that Lane was tied to Rippln. Circa 2020 Lane was in Caprarese’s One World Network and promoting Total Life Changes.

By 2021 Lane had reinvented himself as a crypto bro. Circa February 2021 he was promoting multiple MLM crypto Ponzi schemes.

MLM crypto Ponzis referenced in the above February 2021 video include Beurax, Daisy AI and Solar Oil Project. Lane was likely involved in others.

Evidently at some point Lane stopped promoting crypto Ponzi schemes (at least publicly). He re-partnered with Caprarese (who as far as I know never went MLM crypto scamlord), and that brings us to VIP Global Star’s launch in 2022.

VIP Global Stars’ Compensation Plan

There are six affiliate ranks within VIP Global Stars’ compensation plan.

Along with their respective qualification criteria, they are as follows:

  1. Affiliate – sign up as a VIP Global Stars affiliate and maintain 40 PV a week and have done fo for the past four weeks
  2. VIP – maintain 40 PV a week and have done so for the past four weeks, and recruit and maintain two Affiliates
  3. VIP 1 Star – maintain 40 PV a week and have done so for the past four weeks, refer and maintain one retail customer, maintain two personally recruited Affiliates and generate and maintain 500 GV in weekly weaker side binary volume
  4. VIP 2 Star – maintain 40 PV a week and have done so for the past four weeks, refer and maintain two retail customers, maintain two personally recruited Affiliates and generate and maintain 1000 GV in weekly weaker side binary team volume

  6. MVP – maintain 40 PV a week and have done so for the past four weeks, maintain two retail customers, maintain two personally recruited Affiliates and generate and maintain 5000 GV in weekly weaker side binary team volume

PV stands for “Personal Volume”. PV is sales volume generated via retail sales and an affiliate’s own orders.

GV stands for “Group Volume”. GV is the sum total of an affiliate’s PV and that of their downline.

To count towards rank qualification, referred retail customers must be purchasing at least one box of VGS Trim a month.

Recruitment Commissions

VIP Global Stars pays recruitment commissions via a “Fast Start Bonus”.

The Fast Start Bonus is paid on the mandatory initial order placed by a personally recruited affiliate.

VIP Global Stars do not specify the Fast Start Bonus payout.

Residual Commissions

VIP Global Stars pays residual commissions via a binary compensation structure.

A binary compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a binary team, split into two sides (left and right):

The first level of the binary team houses two positions. The second level of the binary team is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).

Subsequent levels of the binary team are generated as required, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.

Positions in the binary team are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of affiliates. Note there is no limit to how deep a binary team can grow.

At the end of each week VIP Global Stars tallies up new sales volume on both sides of the binary team.

Residual commissions are paid as a percentage of sales volume generated on the weaker binary team side.

VIP Global Stars determines residual commission rates by rank:

  • VIPs earn a 12% residual commission rate
  • VIP 1 Stars earn a 14% residual commission rate
  • VIP 2 Stars earn a 16% residual commission rate
  • VIP 3 Stars earn an 18% residual commission rate
  • MVPs earn a 20% residual commission rate

Once paid out on, volume is matched against the stronger binary team side and flushed.

Leftover volume on the stronger binary team side carries over into the following week.

Matching Bonus

The Matching Bonus out via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

VIP Global Stars caps the Matching Bonus at four unilevel team levels.

The Matching Bonus is paid out as a percentage of residual commissions paid across these four levels based on rank:

  • VIPs earn a 20% match on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates)
  • VIP 1 Stars earn a 20% match on level 1 and 10% on level 2
  • VIP 2 Stars earn a 20% match on level 1 and 10% on levels 2 and 3
  • VIP 3 and 4 Stars earn a 20% match on level 1, 10% on levels 2 and 3 and 5% on level 4

To qualify for the Matching Bonus, a VIP Global Stars affiliate must recruit and maintain two VIPs. Recruited VIPs must be placed one on both sides of the binary team.

Global MVP Pool

VIP Global Stars takes 2% of company-wide sales volume and places it into the Global MVP Pool.

The Global MVP Pool is paid out to MVP ranked affiliates monthly.

Joining VIP Global Stars

VIP Global Stars affiliate membership is $19.95 and the choice of one of three options:

  • Option 1 – 1 box of VGS Trim for $59.95
  • Option 2 – 2 boxes of VGS Trim for $99.95
  • Option 3 – 3 boxes of VGS Trim for $139.95

VIP Global Stars Conclusion

VIP Global Stars claims it’s “dedicated to making VIP more accessible”. As far as I can see this is just a marketing schtick.

A backhanded way to market wealth that might otherwise attract the attention of the FTC.

Not great.

While it doesn’t suffer from the faceless corporation syndrome some LaCore Enterprises MLM companies have, VIP Global Stars still feels like an excuse to launch an MLM company around a product.

Such to the extent there’s anything particularly remarkable about VGS Trim, it’s not mentioned on VIP Global Stars website.

Thermogenic fat burning supplements are readily available. They’re nothing new, so I’m not sure why there’s a need to base an entire MLM company off one. Perhaps the “VIP” marketing angle is an attempt to distract from this.

Whereas we’ve generally seen retail focused MLM opportunities coming out of LaCore Enterprises of late (e.g. Life Activated Brands), VIP Global Stars is a bit of a regression.

For starters, retail commissions aren’t mentioned in VIP Global Stars’ provided compensation documentation.

Then while VIP 1 Star and higher ranks require enrollment and maintenance of retail customers, this doesn’t seem to sync with the weekly PV requirement.

One box of VGS Trim provides 40 PV. One box of VGS Trim contains thirty tablets, which equates to thirty servings.

VIP Global Stars affiliates are required to generate 40 PV a week at a minimum.

Lets say you did the bare minimum and referred one retail customer. Even if they took VGS Trim for breakfast lunch and dinner (please don’t do this), they’d still only get through 21 tablets in a week.

The problem here is VGS Trim is sold as a monthly supply, but VIP Global Stars compresses that into a weekly qualification.

What will likely happen is an affiliate will wind up making the difference – probably buying more VGS Trim then they could possible use.

Bear in mind VGS Trim is a weight loss supplement, it’s not something you should be taking daily willy nilly.

VIP Global Stars could remedy this by syncing rank requirements with VGS Trim’s monthly supply per box.

There’s two ways to do this, either

  1. make the 40 PV requirement monthly; or
  2. ramp up required retail customers to cover four box sales a month.

Failing which VIP Global Stars sets itself up for affiliates to have one retail customer but buying three additional VGS Trim boxes to commission qualify.

This reduces to 50:50 at VIP 2 Star but that’s still just an even split. The affiliate is still buying more product then they can use (commonly referred to as inventory loading).

Given Eric Caprerese’s history with MLM autoship schemes (Larry Lane’s Ponzi scamming isn’t relevant here), I don’t think it’s prudent to cut VIP Global Stars any slack.

The good news is VIP Global Stars is a new company so changes like this are relatively easy to implement.

The bad news is Terry LaCore is just as likely to dump VIP Global Stars than modify it. LaCore Enterprises has more than enough MLM opportunities to fall back on.

Approach with caution.

Update 17th January 2023 – VIP Global Stars appears to have collapsed.

Attempts to reach VIP Global Star’s website now return a “404 Not Found” error:

VIP Global Stars abandoned its social media profiles in July 30th, 2022. I wasn’t able to ascertain when exactly the company collapsed or why.
