A reader recently wrote in asking about Be’s new SageMaster auto trading offering.

In taking a look I noted Be had also spun up a new domain, marking the fifth domain Be has migrated to. They’re also now going by Be Club.

Seeing as BehindMLM reviewed Be back in 2020, today we’re revisiting Be as Be Club for an updated review.

The Company

Be Club is run by co-founders Monir, Moynul and Ehsaan Islam.

Monir and Moyn Islam are former OneCoin scammers.

Originally from the UK, the Islam brothers fled to Dubai after OneCoin collapsed in 2017.

Safe from authorities investigating OneCoin, the Islam brothers went on to launch Melius in 2018.

Melius pitched a $50,000 passive forex trading account for just $3000. Attached to this was a pyramid scheme compensation plan.

Melius collapsed in early 2020, prompting the Islam brothers to reboot as Better Experience, typically shortened to “Be”.

Past and present website domains linked to Be include:

  • befactor.com (original domain)
  • berules.com
  • betoinspire.com
  • be.club
  • beclub.com (current domain as of ~April 2024)

Be Club’s domain shuffles typically correspond to regulatory fraud warnings:

Be Club’s Products

Be Club has no retailable products or services.

Affiliates are only able to market Be Club affiliate membership itself.

Be Club affiliate membership provides access to various courses and an automated AI trading bot.

Be Club’s Compensation Plan

Be Club affiliates sign up and pay subscription fees:

  • Bronze – costs not disclosed
  • Silver – costs not disclosed
  • Gold – $999 and then $99 a month, or $1890 for 12 months and then $891 annually

Be Club also offers alternative six-month subscription pricing for “developing countries”:

  • Bronze – $499
  • Silver – $899
  • Gold – $1149

The MLM side of Be Club pays on recruitment of affiliates who also purchase subscriptions.

Recruitment Commissions

Be Club affiliates earn a 15% commission on sales volume generated by subscription fee payments by personally recruited affiliates.

Recruitment commissions are increased to 30% if a Be Club affiliate recruits a Gold or higher tier affiliate.

Residual Commissions

Be Club pays residual commissions via a binary compensation structure.

A binary compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a binary team, split into two sides (left and right):

The first level of the binary team houses two positions. The second level of the binary team is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).

Subsequent levels of the binary team are generated as required, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.

Positions in the binary team are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of affiliates. Note there is no limit to how deep a binary team can grow.

At the end of each week, Be Club tallies up new subscription fee volume on both sides of the binary team.

Residual commissions are paid based on how much downline subscription fee volume is generated over a rolling 4 week “cycle”.

  • Consultant – generate 1200 GV on both sides of the binary team and receive $500
  • Sapphire – generate 4000 GV on both sides of the binary team and receive $1500
  • Ruby – generate 14,000 GV on both sides of the binary team, recruit and maintain three affiliates and receive $4000
  • Emerald – generate 29,500 GV on both sides of the binary team, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and receive $8500
  • Diamond – generate 60,000 GV on both sides of the binary team, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and receive $15,000
  • Executive Diamond – generate 90,000 GV on both sides of the binary team, recruit and maintain four affiliates and receive $30,000
  • Presidential Diamond – generate 180,000 GV on both sides of the binary team, recruit and maintain five affiliates and receive $60,000
  • Royal Diamond – generate 370,000 GV on both sides of the binary team, maintain five personally recruited affiliates and receive $120,000
  • Ambassador – generate 1,110,000 GV on both sides of the binary team, maintain five personally recruited affiliates and receive $280,000
  • Crown Ambassador – generate 3,300,000 GV on both sides of the binary team, maintain five personally recruited affiliates and receive $600,000
  • Icon – generate 9,999,000 GV on both sides of the binary team, maintain five personally recruited affiliates and receive $1,000,000
  • Legend – generate 23,999,999 GV on both sides of the binary team, maintain five personally recruited affiliates and receive $2,000,000

GV stands for “Group Volume”. GV, cited as “BV” in Be Club’s marketing, is calculated at roughly a half to a third of actual subscription fee amounts paid.

Matching Bonus

Be Club pays a Matching Bonus via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

The Matching Bonus is paid as 10% of residual commissions earned in each unilevel team leg.

Be Club caps the Matching Bonus per leg based on an affiliate’s residual commission rank for the qualifying month:

  • Consultants earn a match of up to $100 per unilevel team leg
  • Sapphires earn a match of up to $300 per unilevel team leg
  • Rubys earn a match of up to $500 per unilevel team leg
  • Emeralds earn a match of up to $1000 per unilevel team leg
  • Diamonds earn a match of up to $2000 per unilevel team leg
  • Presidential Diamonds and higher earn a match of up to $2500 per unilevel team leg

Generational Matching Bonus

Be Club pays Emerald and higher ranked affiliates a Matching Bonus.

The Matching Bonus is paid via the same unilevel compensation structure as the Matching Bonus (see “Matching Bonus” above).

Be Club defines generations within each unilevel team leg when an Emerald of higher ranked affiliate is found in the leg.

This first ranked affiliate caps off the first generation for that leg, with the second beginning immediately after.

If a second Emerald or higher ranked affiliate exists deeper in the leg, they cap off the second generation. The third generation of the leg begins after them.

If no second Emerald or higher ranked affiliate exists, the second generation of that leg extends down the full depth of the leg.

Using this generational structure, Be Club pays the Matching Bonus on residual commissions earned across the unilevel team on up to four generations per leg:

  • 5% match on the first generation
  • 3% match on the second and third generations
  • 2% match on the fourth generation

Note that the Generational Matching Bonus is capped based on an affiliate’s residual commission rank for the qualifying month:

  • Emeralds can earn up to $2000
  • Diamonds can earn up to $4000
  • Presidential Diamonds can earn up to $6000
  • Royal Diamonds can earn up to $8000
  • Ambassadors can earn up to $15,000
  • Crown Ambassadors can earn up to $25,000
  • Icons and Legends can earn up to $50,000

Full participation in the attached income opportunity requires an active subscription:

Be Club also offers alternative six-month subscription pricing for “developing countries”:

  • Bronze – $499
  • Silver – $899
  • Gold – $1149

Be Club Conclusion

Be Club in 2024 sees the Islam brothers return to their securities fraud roots with OneCoin and then Melius.

Be Club isn’t an outright Ponzi scheme like OneCoin was. Instead its more aligned with Melius’ “$50,000 passive forex trading account for $3000” nonsense.

Regardless, through automated trading Be Club commits securities and commodities fraud nonetheless.

In 2020 Be bundled all manner of third-party services to its subscriptions. This included a travel discount portal, call/chat app, rideshare app, payment platform and business building app.

While there’s still some confusingly presented services on offer on Be Club’s website, the marketing is all about SageMaster.

SageMaster is your typical AI trading bot scheme. No ownership or executive details are provided on SageMaster’s website.

On its own website, SageMaster represents it is run through the British West Indies shell company TechHost Worldwide Inc.

The lack of disclosure on who owns SageMaster can be attributed to the Islam brothers owning Techhost Worldwide:

SageMaster’s passive returns AI trading service constitutes a securities offering. Despite this, neither SageMaster or Be Club provides evidence it has registered with securities and commodities regulators in any jurisdiction.

Indirectly acknowledging this fraud, SageMaster states this in their website terms and conditions;

The Company’s Services are not available to residents of, individuals located in, or entities controlled by certain countries.

These include, but are not limited to, the United States of America (USA) and the territories controlled by it, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In the SEC and CFTC, the US has the most active securities and commodities regulators in the world. The UAE is of course where the Islam brothers fled to after OneCoin collapsed.

Dubai might be a laughing stock on the world stage when it comes to regulation, but the US is a very real threat to scammers committing securities and/or commodities fraud.

This brings us to Be Club shamelessly targeting “developing countries”:

As of August 2024, SimilarWeb tracked just 2800 visits to Be Club’s website. 98% of that traffic originated from Columbia.

It appears that Be Club might be relying primarily on SageMaster’s own website. During the same August 2024 period, SimilarWeb tracked ~121,000 visits to SageMaster’s website (“sagemaster.io”, registered in May 2022).

Intentionally targeting poor people in countries with little to no regulatory infrastructure is just… well, it certainly speaks to the character of the Islam brothers. I’ll leave it at that.

I did note the mention of “retail customers” in Be Club’s compensation documentation…

…but this makes no sense. All one can do on Be Club’s website is sign up as a promoter (at no cost).

A subscription is required to participate in the MLM opportunity, and so we have everyone in Be Club classified as an affiliate. This means Be Club has no retail customers.

This is in line with BehindMLM’s 2020 Be review, in which we noted Be was running a pyramid scheme. Building on that, SageMaster now adds securities and commodities fraud.

The specific fraud model used here is what BehindMLM refers to as “lulz can’t touch our money!”. Under this model, investors are duped into believing that because funds are traded in their own broker/exchange accounts, they can’t be stolen.

This is false. Typically “lulz can’t touch our money!” schemes exit-scam through blowing the bot up or rigged trades.

Rigged trades is the preferred exit-scam, as this sees funds transferred to the bot’s owners (the Islam brothers).

However and whenever they inevitably exit-scam, the majority of investors in “lulz can’t touch our money!” schemes lose money. That’s on top of inevitable pyramid scheme losses.

If you want to see this in action, look no further than the trail of financial carnage the Islam brothers left in their wake with OneCoin and Melius.
