The clown show surrounding Leonardo Cositorto’s Generation Zoe trial in Argentina continues.

The latest is Cositorto announcing plans to marry a fellow prisoner.

Speaking with Clarin, Cositorto

did not want to give details about who his girlfriend is for reasons of “confidence.”

Cositorto said that he has known his new partner for eight years “and for the past two years we have been talking in these circumstances every day, twice a day.”

While Cositorto (right) did not name his girlfriend, Clarin reports she is being held on related Generation Zoe charges.

Generation Zoe was an MLM crypto Ponzi launched in 2021. The scheme collapsed in 2022 amid ongoing investor withdrawal problems.

Following a manhunt across the Americas, Cositorto was arrested in the Dominican Republic in April 2022.

Authorities in Goya have charged Cositorto with illicit association across ninety-eight cases of fraud. Cositorto’s Goya trial is scheduled to resume on February 4th.

Meanwhile in Cordoba, authorities trying to push a second criminal case are having procedural issues.

After the Criminal Court of Villa María , Córdoba, annulled the first trial against Leonardo Cositorto last October due to inconsistencies in the instruction of the case; this Monday, the prosecutor Juliana Companys in Villa María again requested that the main case against the accused of being the leader of an illicit association and repeated frauds go to oral debate .

The measure also extends to 26 other accomplices.

A decision on the Prosecutor’s request remains pending.

Amid an ongoing criminal trial and a looming second criminal trial, Cositorto communicates openly with Generation Zoe victims via Zoom “classes”.

Javier Smaldone on Twitter reports Cositorto charging attendees $200 a pop.

Smaldone, who states “everything in Argentina is a joke”, notes prisoners in Argentina are prohibited from having access to phones.

It would seem authorities in Goya are turning a blind eye to Cositorto running Zoom classes from within the prison.
