Wealth Masters lose appeal, still banned in Norway

wealth-masters-international-logoBack in March of 2011, the Norwegian Gaming Board upheld its original declaration that, after investigating the business model and products of Wealth Masters International, the company was nothing more than a pyramid scheme.

In response to the Gaming Boards decision, Wealth Masters launched an appeal accusing the Gaming Board of ‘colluding with a Norwegian blogger in order to ‘smear, libel and discredit WMI’.

Upon receiving the appeal, the Gaming Board ‘found no reason to reverse its decision‘ and in July 2011 forwarded Wealth Master’s  appeal and WMI’s complaints to the Lottery Board for consideration.

In September Wealth Masters, being represented by Prashant Rørvik after firing their previous lawyers Helleroy and Co., submitted additional information to the Lottery Board they hoped would further clarify their complaints against the Gaming Board’s decision. [Continue reading…]

Beget Review: Affiliate network style daily deals

beget-logoTraditionally a daily deals website offers a variety of deals to a large number of users. Over time this has become extremely localised as businesses demand more for their advertising dollar, with daily deal sites having to provide extremely targeted solutions to the businesses that use their platforms.

Some of these daily deals websites have tried to attach the model to a MLM compensation plan structure with most of them using the MLM business model to increase membership (recruitment commissions), rather than focus on the core of  what makes a daily deals website succesful. That is,  use of the featured deals themselves by members who aren’t interested or attached to the income opportunity.

Entering the market with a somewhat different approach of utilising the daily deals niche like an affiliate network comes Beget. Read on for a full review. [Continue reading…]

Huge Yield Review: Recruit faster = more payouts

huge-yield-logoAlthough I’m sure somebody else must have done it before, as far as companies I’ve reviewed go, Huge Yield is the first company I’ve seen that use a reverse matrix but pay out as members advance in levels.

Too bad everything else about Huge Yield has been done before and worse, is pretty much just cover for a stock standard recruitment scheme.

Zeek Rewards compliance, tax and marketing issues

zeekrewardsAbout a week ago now Zeek Rewards announced that they were putting out a compliance certification course that was going to be mandatory for all Zeek Rewards members.

Coming in at a cost of $9.95 ($4.95 if purchased within the first 14 days), Zeek Rewards compliance appears to be targeting members who misleading advertise the Zeek Rewards investment opportunity.

Set to launch on Monday the 23rd January, Zeek Rewards recently announced that there were going to be ongoing delays in the roll out of their compliance program. [Continue reading…]

And3-Matrix Review: Recruit your friends? Scam.

and3-matrix-logoWith the recruitment driven matrix + useless products MLM model all but tired and busted, it seems admins that launch these scams are doing less and less to try to make them legit.

Still, there’s usually some small effort to at least try to convince people that recruiting members to earn commissions is not dodgy. But then every so often an opportunity comes along where the admin doesn’t even bother.

XB-Fit Review: A readily retailable product line

xbfit-logoMeat, poultry, seafood, nutrient supplements, weightloss and an energy drink. It might sound like a bit of a mish-mash MLM product offering but all of these products have something in common:

They’re consumable and readily retailable.

The big question is whether or not XB-Fit can back up their product line with a compensation plan that focused members’ commissions on what should be a no-brainer opportunity when it comes to true retail.

4 Color Gold Review: Business cards and matrices

4-color-gold-logoThe pairing of business cards and a MLM income opportunity isn’t a new thing and done properly the combination kind of makes sense. Business cards advertise a business and MLM is all about marketing right?

I suppose at the end of the day it really comes down to what you yourself are advertising through your business cards.

If it’s a viable product or service with an income opportunity attached then fair enough.

If it’s an income opportunity itself though… well, then you might just have a problem.

Rapid Forced Review: $21000 a month no recruiting?

Cash Club International Review: 6 matrices to fill

cash-club-international-logoMost advertising network based MLM opportunities these days essentially boil down into having to fill a matrix with recruits, cycling out and repeating the process.

With certainty sooner or later members run out of new members to recruit and the matrix (and commissions) stall.

So what happens when you take the standard one matrix advertising MLM model and make your members jump through six?

Unittus Review: A $10 a month social network

unittus-logoSo far a few MLM companies have tried to pair the social network with a MLM compensation but to date all have failed. The main problem consistently remains the failure to attract genuine users not attached to the business opportunity, or the lack of a true retail service which then becomes a simple recruitment game.

Kicking off as 2012’s first social network MLM launch comes Unittus. They’ve got a true retail membership option but is that enough to make it in the MLM social network niche?
