Another twenty-six victims of QNet recruitment trafficking have been rescued in Ghana.

Ghanian authorities, working with QNet, made nine arrests on October 17th.

This time around the trafficked QNet victims are from Ghana and neighboring Côte d’Ivoire. The arrested suspects are also from Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.

As per an October 17th report from StarrFM;

According to EOCO, intelligence gathered revealed that both foreign nationals and Ghanaians had been lured into the scheme, which falsely promised job placements with the reputable company.

Presumably QNet assisted by handing over account details of the suspects.

Unfortunately this doesn’t address QNet being a pyramid scheme, let alone reputable. And it seems as long as there’s money to be made kidnapping people and forcing them to recruit new victims, QNet human trafficking will remain a problem in Ghana.

QNet is an MLM pyramid scheme run out of Malaysia by founder Vijay Eswaran (right).

Unfortunately despite QNet defrauding consumers for decades and multiple regulatory fraud warnings issued globally, Malaysian authorities have failed to take action.

QNet was ordered to cease business operations in Ghana in 2022. Despite the court order however, QNet has continued to defraud consumers through underground operations.

In an ideal world nobody would be getting kidnapped but MLM related human trafficking, specifically of QNet victims, has been a problem in Ghana for years.

To the detriment of consumers in Africa, the cat and mouse game between QNet, the scam’s promoters and Ghanaian authorities continues.
