Simon Stepsys, a notorious Ponzi scammer from the UK, has pled guilty to tax fraud. As per a case brought by the UK’s Insolvency Service, Stepsys’ tax fraud related to Simon Stepsys Success International.

The UK’s small claims court is available to the public for recovery of funds not exceeding £10,000 GBP ($13,000 USD). Not willing to take the collapse of My Advertising Pays lying down, an affiliate is using the court in an attempt to recover over £4000 GBP in losses ($5200 USD).

Last December the My Advertising Pays sued payment processor VX Gateway for $59.6 million dollars. The Ponzi scheme alleged VX Gateway was wrongfully withholding investor funds and sought recovery. According to My Advertising Pays, VX Gateway, Celia Dunlop and Timothy Mackay stole $59.6 million, money that My Advertising Pays in turn stole from affiliates through Ponzi fraud. Following a hearing on December 7th, the Temporary Restraining Order My Advertising Pays had sought against VX Gateway has been denied.

I checked the docket earlier and as of yet there’s no news regarding today’s TRO and preliminary injunction hearing. In the last twenty-four hours however, VX Gateway has filed a response in opposition to My Advertising Pay’s motion.

While scammers are happy to defraud the general public out of millions of dollars each year, turns out they themselves don’t like being scammed. Yeah I know, shocking…

As My Advertising Pays gears up to abandon Europe and focus on scamming people in Asia, the European fallout has begun. On the 10th of November the Malta Financial Services Authority issued a warning concerning My Advertising Pays.
