Craig Grant has listed his BitConnect villa on AirBNB.

As per the listing above, which is live, Grant’s BitConnect villa is located in Spring Garden, Jamaica.

This villa in Cockpit Country offers a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by mountains and accessible via a private road.

It features two en-suite rooms, kitchen, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi. A walking trail, river, and convenience store are within walking distance.

Grant fled Florida for Jamaica after the SEC filed charges against him in May 2021.

Once in Jamaica, Grant began spending money he’d stolen through BitConnect to renovate a family-owned property.

It is this property punters can now book through Grant’s AirBNB listing.

Well, sort of. Rather than use his own name, Grant is renting out his BitConnect villa through long-time partner Yuliana Avalos.

Grant is charging $50 a night per person. Notably, hot water is not included.

Grant fleeing from SEC proceedings against him has ultimately resulted in a proposed default judgment order of $2.6 million.

It’s unclear whether the SEC would pursue judgment by attempting to seize Grant’s asset(s) in Jamaica. Alternatively, Grant would need to make ~52,000 AirBNB bookings to satisfy judgment.

Also unclear is whether AirBNB is OK with properties tied to the proceeds of crime being listed on their platform.
