Pebbles Fund Review: Five-tier bitcoin cash gifting
There is no information on the Pebbles Fund website indicating who owns or runs the business.
The Pebbles Fund website domain (“pebblesfund.com”) was privately registered on October 26th, 2016.
Pebbles Fund appears to be connected to a number of scams. The websites of AloBit, Donor’s Club and Fund My Cause are hosted on the same private server as Pebbles Fund:
All three opportunities are bitcoin-based cash gifting schemes.
Whether the admin of Pebbles Club is the same as AloBit, Donor’s Club and/or Fund My Cause is unclear.
As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.
The Pebbles Fund Product Line
Pebbles Fund has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market Pebbles Fund affiliate membership itself.
The Pebbles Fund Compensation Plan
The Pebbles Fund compensation plan sees affiliates gift payments to eachother through a 2×5 matrix.
A 2×5 matrix places an Pebbles Fund affiliate at the top of a matrix, with two positions directly under them:
These two positions form the first level of the matrix. The second level of the matrix is generated by splitting each of the two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).
The third to fifth levels of the matrix are generated in the same manner, housing eight, sixteen and thirty-two positions respectively.
In total, a 2×5 matrix houses sixty-two positions.
Each Pebbles Fund matrix level operates as an individual cash gifting tier.
A Pebbles Fund affiliate begins by gifting 0.02 BTC to the affiliate who recruited them.
This payment in turn qualifies the affiliate to receive 0.02 BTC from two subsequently recruited affiliates.
Each of the Pebbles Fund matrix levels require a gifting payment to unlock as follows:
- level 1 – gift 0.02 BTC to the affiliate who recruited you and receive 0.02 BTC from two subsequently recruited affiliates
- level 2 – gift 0.03 BTC and receive 0.03 BTC from four affiliates
- level 3 – gift 0.08 BTC and receive 0.08 BTC from eight affiliates
- level 4 – gift 0.3 BTC and receive 0.3 BTC from sixteen affiliates
- level 5 – gift 1.5 BTC and receive 1.5 BTC from thirty-two affiliates
Note that the above payments (both paid and received) are monthly recurring.
Joining Pebbles Fund
Pebbles Fund affiliate membership is tied to a monthly 0.02 BTC gifting payment to the affiliate who recruited you.
Full participation in the Pebbles Fund MLM opportunity is 1.93 BTC a month.
Conclusion
Pebblesfund is a direct M2M donations platform where members voluntarily give and receive donations.
Pebbles Fund, AloBit, Donor’s Club and Fund My Cause are all essentially clones of eachother.
Under the guise of giving donations, affiliates in each opportunity are engaged in cash gifting.
Legitimate donations do not entitle you to receive payments from subsequent donors. That’s cash gifting, which makes Pebbles Fund, AloBit, Donor’s Club and Fund My Cause all scams.
The way these bitcoin cash gifting schemes are set up primarily pays off the admin.
The admin preloads one or more positions prior to launching the scam. These positions cycle first to the upper matrix tiers and thus receive the lion’s share of deposited funds.
The rest of the affiliate-base receives whatever breadcrumbs are left, most of which is passed up to the admin positions in any case.
Since donations are being given freely and willingly (nothing is being purchased), there are no refunds.
Once affiliate recruitment drops off the scheme collapses. The anonymous admin does a runner, with the use of bitcoin making victim fund retrieval next to impossible.
