  3. oriigindefi.xyz (app) – privately registered on March 8th, 2026
  4. originndefi.world (hosting already suspended) – privately registered on November 18th, 2025
  5. die-origindefi.xyz (app) – privately registered on March 7th, 2025

There are likely other Origin Defi domains not listed here.

While not always, MLM schemes with multiple websites set up on weird TLDs is usually the work of Chinese scammers.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

Origin Defi’s Products

Origin Defi has no retailable products or services.

Promoters are only able to market Origin Defi promoter membership itself.

Origin Defi’s Compensation Plan

Origin Defi promoters invest USD equivalents in the cryptocurrency DAI. Invested DAI is converted into Origin Defi’s LGNS token, which is then entered into a staking investment scheme.

Origin Defi’s staking scheme pays out “approximately 1% a day”.

The MLM side of Origin Defi pays on recruitment of promoter investors.

Origin Defi Promoter Ranks

There are six promoter ranks within Origin Defi’s compensation plan.

Along with their respective qualification criteria, they are as follows:

  1. V1 – generate $50,000 investment in three recruitment legs each
  2. V2 – generate $150,000 investment in three recruitment legs each
  3. V3 – generate $300,000 investment in three recruitment legs each

ROI Match

Origin Defi pays a ROI Match via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places a promoter at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited promoter placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 promoters recruit new promoters, they are placed on level 2 of the original promoter’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 promoters recruit new promoters, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

Origin Defi caps payable unilevel team levels at fifteen.

The ROI Match is paid as a percentage of daily LGNS returns paid across these fifteen levels as follows:

V1 and higher ranked Origin Defi promoters qualify for an additional bonus on daily returns paid to downline promoters:

  • V1 ranked promoters receive a 1% to 5% bonus
  • V2 ranked promoters receive a 2% to 10% bonus
  • V3 ranked promoters receive a 4% to 15% bonus
  • V4 ranked promoters receive a 6% to 20% bonus
  • V5 ranked promoters receive an 8% to 25% bonus

Origin Defi Conclusion

Without a verifiable source of external revenue, the only source of verifiable revenue entering Origin Defi is new investment.

Using new investment to pay LGNS withdrawals makes Origin Defi a simple staking model Ponzi scheme.

New promoters sign up, invest DAI on the promise of passive returns, paid in LGNS.

LGNS is a shit token created on the Polygon blockchain (ERC-20 equivalent).

Although it has a heavily manipulated public trading value, LGNS is worthless outside of Origin Defi itself.

As with all MLM Ponzi schemes, once recruitment dries up so too will new investment.

This will starve Origin Defi of withdrawal revenue, eventually prompting a collapse.

When Origin Defi inevitably collapses, so too will LGNS. This will leave Origin Defi investors bagholding yet another worthless Ponzi token.

Math guarantees that when a Ponzi scheme collapses, the majority of participants lose money.
