Eclipcity Global: Andreas Kartrud’s 4th smart-contract Ponzi
Eclipcity Global is part of Andreas Kartrud’s Eclipcity smart-contract Ponzi factory.
To date, Kartrud has launched three smart-contract Ponzi schemes:
- EtherChain – ethereum smart-contract Ponzi launched in June 2020, collapsed within three months
- TronChain – tron smart-contract Ponzi launched in August 2020, collapsed in Janaury 2021
- CyberChain – tron smart-contract Ponzi launched in September 2020, still running
Kartrud (right) brands the above smart-contract Ponzis as being part of Eclipcity, with Eclipcity Global marking the fourth launch in seven months.
Kartrud runs his Eclipcity Ponzi factory from Skane, Sweden. To date Swedish authorities have failed to take any action against him.
Read on for a full review of Eclipcity Global’s MLM opportunity.
Eclipcity Global’s Products
Eclipcity Global has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market Eclipcity Global affiliate membership itself.
Eclipcity Global’s Compensation Plan
Eclipcity Global’s compensation plan sees affiliates invest tron on the promise of a 310% ROI.
Returns are paid daily at a rate of “up to 1%”. Once 310% has been paid out on an investment position (combined daily ROI and MLM commissions), reinvestment is required to continue earning.
Eclipcity Global reinvestment sees affiliates required to invest larger and larger amounts:
The MLM side of Eclipcity Global’s compensation plan focuses on the recruitment of new affiliate investors.
Eclipcity Global Affiliate Ranks
There are ten affiliate ranks within Eclipcity Global.
Along with their respective qualification criteria, they are as follows:

Referral Commissions
Eclipcity Global affiliates receive 10% of tron invested by personally recruited affiliates.
Matching Bonus
Eclipcity Global pays a Matching Bonus via a unilevel compensation structure.
A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):
If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.
Eclipcity Global caps payable unilevel team levels at twelve.
The Matching Bonus is paid out as a percentage of withdrawals made across these twelve levels as follows:
- Star 1 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates)
- Star 2 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1 and 10% on level 2
- Star 3 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1 and 10% on levels 2 and 3
- Star 4 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1, 10% on levels 2 and 3 and 8% on level 4
- Star 5 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1, 10% on levels 2 and 3 and 8% on levels 4 and 5
- Star 6 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1, 10% on levels 2 and 3, 8% on levels 4 and 5 and 6% on level 6
- Star 7 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1, 10% on levels 2 and 3, 8% on levels 4 and 5 and 6% on levels 6 and 7
- Star 8 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1, 10% on levels 2 and 3, 8% on levels 4 and 5, 6% on levels 6 and 7 and 4% on level 8
- Star 9 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1, 10% on levels 2 and 3, 8% on levels 4 and 5, 6% on levels 6 and 7 and 4% on levels 8 and 9
- Star 10 ranked affiliates receive a 30% match on level 1, 10% on levels 2 and 3, 8% on levels 4 and 5, 6% on levels 6 and 7, 4% on levels 8 and 9 and 2% on levels 10 to 12
Note that Eclipcity Global also arbitrarily adjusts the Matching Bonus paid out “on all levels”, ‘if the system recognizes that the matching percentage output is too high’.
Whatever that means.
Top Sponsor Pool
Eclipcity Global takes 1% of weekly company-wide investment and places it into the Top Sponsor Pool.
90% of funds collected for the Top Sponsor Pool each week are withheld to be added to the following week’s Top Sponsor Pool balance.
The remaining 10% is paid out to Eclipcity Global’s top affiliate recruiters as follows:
- 25% is paid to the first top recruiter
- 15% is paid out to the second top recruiter
- 10% is paid out to the third top recruiter
- 8% is paid out to the fourth to seventh top recruiters
- 6% is paid out to the eighth to tenth top recruiters
Again the above percentages are calculated based on 10% of the collected Top Sponsor Pool each week, plus the 90% balance rolled over from the previous week.
Joining Eclipcity Global
Eclipcity Global affiliate membership is tied an initial minimum 500 TRX investment.
Reinvestment is eventually required to continue earning.
The highest investment tier requires Eclipcity Global affiliates to invest and continue reinvesting 701,000 to 1,000,000 TRX.
Conclusion
As you might have expected, Eclipcity Global is more of the same smart-contract Ponzi shenanigans from Andreas Kartrud.
With this launch the focus is on trapping investor funds within the contract.
To that end Eclipcity Global introduces a bunch of new rules:
Eclipcity Global’s new rules allow, at least in theory, Kartrud and friends to withdraw the majority of invested funds over time.
This occurs through a 5% admin fee and however many admin positions Kartrud sets up for himself.
I didn’t cover most of Eclipcity Global’s new rules in detail because the end-result will be the same; withdrawals will eventually exceed new investment, resulting in Eclipcity Global collapsing.
The math behind MLM Ponzi schemes guarantees that when they collapse, the majority of participants lose money.
This is true of EtherChain and TronChain. It will remain true with CyberChain, Eclipcity Global and any other Ponzi schemes Kartrud launches.
Update 21st March 2021 – Eclipcity Global has collapsed.
Andreas Kartrud is promising an impossible 120% recovery to dissuade victims from going to the authorities.
Amusing to watch bUh MuH bLoCkChAiN! scammers run through the same nonsense PHP matrix script Ponzi scammers pushed a decade ago.
“This time we’ve got it right! Your grandkid’s grandkids are going to profit!” etc.
Must be depressing for the knuckleheads who keep falling for it.
You mean “bUh MuH cOnTrUct!”…
There is little risk that Swedish authorities will take any action. He is most likely not on the radar.
Targets are well outside Sweden, which makes it unlikely his activities are reported in a way that they would be investigated properly.
Ponzis are handled by Spelinspektionen (the government body dealing with betting and gambling) not by Finansinspektionen which deals with financial securities. Spelinspektionen has a small office, just 60 employees…
He lives with his wife in a 2-bed rent apartment in a dreary project. Neither of them are registered as active in any company. The only vehicle is a 25 year old trailer.
He obviously keeps a low profile and maintain all funds in electronic currencies away from the taxman. One can only guess that he is saving up for an escape outside Sweden, somewhere that questions will not be asked about how he got into the money.
Niente is right. We’ve seen more than one Ponzi apologist rock up with “How can it possibly be a scam? It’s a SmArT cOnTrAcT! It’S iMmUtAbLe!!”
I’ll make it simple for anyone is visiting here looking for guidance: No one is going to pay you 1% per day unless they’re stealing it from someone else.
If you “invest” in this scheme, you are that someone else whose money they’re stealing. That’s all there is to it: if you join one of these “X percent per day/week/month” schemes, you’re involving yourself in organized theft.
You have been warned.
Yeah, Tronchain had a really “smart” contract allowing the funds to be drained. But don’t worry, we’ll get it right eventually…
This is a really smart idea and I deposited 100,000 TRX already. The last one lasted six months so for the next 6 months the money is guaranteed to keep on coming in.
Time to make some big money in the next 6 months like a boss.
There is nothing else with 6 months of guaranteed massive life changing profits.
Gotta love Ponzi logic. Who needs reality when you can just make it up as you go along.
Remember that this is the beginning, if a sponsor generates more than the one up here, in this case Andrea will not allow it, he will not be able to withdraw the bonus is removed.
remember who the head is Andrea is obliged to all win the same and generate so that they do not the same thing happens.
All fools are falling pray to the ponzis being run by this fellow by the name of Kurtruds. The elcipcity global is going to collapse for sure in 15 days or so.
The mastermind will turn the befooled affiliate into yet another ponzi in the name of Smart Contrat. Disgusting..

Apparently there is an “insurance” contract now. What does that mean?
Thanks for the heads up! It means the majority of Eclipcity Global investors are going to squabble over what’s left.
Math guarantees they will still walk away with a loss.
If the scammers are urging everyone to be patient because there’s an “insurance contract,” they’re just stalling for time.
Fake insurance contracts are a common scammer trope; they’re usually falsified documents or just anonymous forms they wave at the camera without letting anyone see anything (see TelexFree:
https://behindmlm.com/companies/telexfree/telexfree-lose-injunction-appeal-caught-out-lying/ )
Kartrud seems to have fled Sweden, there are no public records for him anymore. His wife is still registered on the dingy Malmö apartment.
Maybe he has set up a new base in Montenegro. He also seems to spend a lot of time in Dubai, a very handy location if you want to run a dubious DeFi “business”.
