BAASCorp provides no information on its website about who owns or runs the company.

BAASCorp’s website domain (“basscorp.com”) was privately registered on November 11th, 2019.

On its website, BAASCorp claims to be “Japan’s #1 Blockchain as a service Investment Platform”.

Seemingly in support of this, BAASCorp provides an incomplete address in Hokkaido.

At the time of publication Alexa doesn’t rate Japan as a significant source of traffic to BAASCorp’s website.

According to Alexa, the top three sources of traffic to BAASCorp’s website are the US (21%), Vietnam (8%) and Canada (7%).

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

BAASCorp’s Products

BAASCorp has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market BAASCorp affiliate membership itself.

BAASCorp’s Compensation Plan

BAASCorp affiliates invest bitcoin on the promise of advertised returns.

Although tracked in USD, actual investment is made in bitcoin. Returns are paid Monday through Friday.

Referral Commissions

BAASCorp pays referral commissions via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

BAASCorp caps payable unilevel team levels at seven.

Referral commissions are paid as a percentage of funds invested across these seven levels as follows:

  • level 1 (personally recruited affiliates) – 10% if you’ve personally recruited up to ten affiliates, 15% if you’ve recruited eleven or more
  • level 2 – 7%
  • level 3 – 5%
  • level 4 – 4%
  • level 5 – 3%
  • level 6 – 2%
  • level 7 – 1%

Squad Income

Squad Income is a monthly bonus based on affiliate recruitment across six unilevel team levels.

  • generate a downline of 100 affiliates and receive $100 a month
  • generate a downline of 200 affiliates and receive $250 a month
  • generate a downline of 300 affiliates and receive $500 a month
  • generate a downline of 500 affiliates and receive $1000 a month
  • generate a downline of 1000 affiliates and receive $3000 a month
  • generate a downline of 1500 affiliates and receive $5000 a month
  • generate a downline of 2500 affiliates and receive $10,000 a month

Again, required downline are counted only down six unilevel team levels.

Also note that Squat Income payments are made at each tier for twelve months.

Joining BAASCorp

BAASCorp affiliate membership is free.

Full participation in the attached income opportunity however requires a minimum $50 investment.

Note that all deposits and withdrawals within BAASCorp are made in bitcoin.

Conclusion

BAASCorp represents it makes ROI revenue via “blockchain applications”.

If that makes no sense, it’s because it doesn’t.

BAASCorp uses blockchain jargon to mask the fact it’s running a Ponzi scheme.

Furthermore BAASCorp’s passive investment opportunity constitutes a securities offering.

Even if we entertain BAASCorp’s representations it is based out of Japan, the company provides no indication it has registered with the Financial Services Agency.

Perhaps more importantly, BAASCorp is not registered with the SEC in the US (the company’s largest pool of investors).

To summarize, new BAASCorp affiliates are recruited. They invest and that money is used to fund withdrawal requests from existing affiliates.

When withdrawal requests exceed new investment, BAASCorp will go into a deficit.

That’ll carry on until BAASCorp’s anonymous admins pull the plug and do a runner.

At that point BAASCorp will have collapsed, leaving the majority of investors with a loss.
