Trey Knight sentenced to prison for bankruptcy fraud
Trey Knight, aka Haskell Knight, has been sentenced to prison.
Following a guilty plea on a bankruptcy fraud charge back in January, Knight was sentenced on November 20th.
Strangely, there is no indication in Knight’s sentencing filings as to how long his prison sentence is.
Defense counsel argues for sentencing.
Government counsel argues for sentencing.
Court imposes Sentence.
Very helpful.
Also strange is there being no mention of Emily Knight on the case docket.
Emily, Trey Knight’s wife, pled guilty with Trey (photo right) and was also scheduled to be sentenced on November 20th.
At time of publication Emily’s status with respect to sentencing is unknown.
As part of the Knights’ plea deal, parallel wire fraud and remaining bankruptcy charges were dismissed.
Trey Knight has been ordered to surrender to begin his unknown prison sentence by January 5th, 2026.
At the time of his indictments, Trey Knight was founder and CEO of CBD oil MLM opp Navan Global.
Regarding how long Trey will spend in prison and Emily Knight’s sentencing, I’ll continue to monitor the case docket for updates.

Formal Legal Statement for Media (with Sentencing)
Hi Oz,
Thank you for your inquiry. I can provide the following statement regarding my involvement in United States v. Haskell “Trey” Knight, et al., Criminal Action No. 3:21-CR-29.
I appeared at the sentencing hearing as a federally recognized victim and delivered a victim impact statement on behalf of myself, my husband, and numerous affected MLM business owners and individuals.
My appearance is reflected in the official sentencing minutes entered by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, which note my testimony before Chief Judge Shelly Dick .
My involvement in the matter arose after it was discovered that Haskell Knight had forged my husband’s signature along with others on corporate documents and falsely represented him and others as an owner of the entity Udoxa to raise capital from individuals unknown to us.
Following the misappropriation of those funds, my husband’s name along with others was subsequently listed in the Knights’ Florida bankruptcy proceedings as if they were responsible for debts they had no knowledge of or involvement in. This resulted in years of necessary legal defense to protect his reputation and financial standing.
Through the investigation and with the assistance of the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, we became aware of a much broader pattern of fraudulent conduct, document falsification, and misrepresentation (including alias names)by the defendants across multiple business ventures over the course of many years.
The information we provided contributed to the Government’s understanding of the defendants’ scheme and to restitution considerations for the broader group of victims.
At sentencing, the Court imposed 48 months of imprisonment (no parole) on Haskell “Trey” Knight and 30 months on Emily Knight, with both defendants ordered to pay restitution to the victims and to complete cognitive and behavioral treatment.
They have been ordered to self-surrender on January 5th at 2:00 PM to begin serving their sentences.
We are appreciative that the judicial process has reached its conclusion and that accountability has now been achieved, allowing the victims in this matter to begin moving forward.
Respectfully,
Amber-Lynn Cantrell

I don’t have any reason to doubt the sentences above but will refrain from adding to the article till I can confirm.
Article updated with formal legal statement from one of Knight’s victims confirming sentencing.
Article updated with sentencing confirmation from the DOJ.
I only hope the Cantrell’s were able to get back all their legal fees and court costs from them.
Trey has been a liar and scam artist for decades. He knows no limits and has stolen from his own family, in-laws and neighbors. He even attempted to get his grown daughters involved in his scams.
I am sure he is already working on his next scam.
…from inside prison?
He doesn’t report to prison until January 5th and he has been delaying sentencing for awhile.
