TelexFree Trustee Stephen Darr’s filing is a “Proposed Amended Complaint”. The complaint seeks to appoint “the largest net-winners” of TelexFree as Class Representatives.
Once appointed, the named TelexFree investors above will represent approximately 15,000 net-winner investors. In a nutshell, they’ll be responsible for arguing why net-winner investors who stole from TelexFree’s victims shouldn’t have to pay the money back.
If the Class Representatives lose in court, TelexFree’s net-winners will then be subject to clawback litigation.
Darr’s Amended Complaint adds an additional eighty-two net-winners to the Class Representatives group. The original clawback litigation was filed back in January.
A hearing in the bankruptcy case was held on April 13th, which granted Darr permission to proceed with the victim claims process.
As of yet though there’s nothing on the docket pertaining to the appoint of a net-winner Class Representative group.
Stay tuned…
Interesting to see another ‘Filho’ name in there. Wonder if it’s related
Hope they didn’t spend it all.
I know one off the list that buy house in cash in central Florida for over $600,000, so that’s the way the money come from!!
I have had some good news that the Trustee has been given the green light to proceed with the victims’ claims. But some people have forgotten how mush they earned, how much balance they are eligible to claim since some of them come from the third world places without information affinity!
How will they be helped?
You’re only able to claim what you invested, sand withdrawals. Everything else was monopoly money that didn’t exist.
If they can’t remember what they initially invested then they are probably a net-winner and not able to claim anything.
