my-modern-income-logoThere is no information on the My Modern Income website indicating who owns or runs the business.

The My Modern Income website domain (“mymodernincome.com”) was registered on the 25th of May 2015, however the domain registration is set to private.

Further research reveals My Modern Income affiliates crediting “Pier-luc Morin” as admin of the opportunity, however I was unable to independently verify this information.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

The My Modern Income Product Line

My Modern Income has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market My Modern Income affiliate membership itself.

Once signed up, My Modern Income affiliates are able to invest in “coupons”.

Bundled with each coupon investment are a series of advertising credits, which can be used to display advertising on the My Modern Income website itself.

The My Modern Income Compensation Plan

The My Modern Income compensation plan sees affiliates invest in $20 coupons, which pays out an advertised 150% ROI.

By paying a $500 annual fee, affiliates can boost the ROI paid out per coupon invested in to 200%.

Payment of the annual fee also buys a share in a weekly bonus pool, made up of 10% of company-wide coupon investment.

Referral commissions are available on funds invested by recruited affiliates, paid out via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

unilevel-commission-structure

If any level 1 affiliates go on to recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

My Modern Income cap payable unilevel levels at five, with commissions paid out as a percentage of funds invested.

How much of a percentage is paid out is determined by what level of the unilevel team investments are made:

  • level 1 – 10%
  • level 2 – 3%
  • level 3 – 2%
  • level 4 – 5%

Joining My Modern Income

Affiliate membership with My Modern Income is free, however affiliates will need to invest at least $20 in order to participate in the income opportunity.

An additional $500 annual fee also applies if an affiliate wishes to max out their coupon ROI and earn from the weekly bonus pool.

Conclusion

My Modern Income combine the familiar ad-credit based Ponzi scheme model with an additional weekly revenue-share bonus pool.

Basic investment sees an affiliate collect 150% of subsequently invested funds, with a $500 fee increasing that to $200.

The fee also creates a position in the weekly bonus pool, comprised of invested funds for that week.

With nothing being marketed or sold to retail customers, the only source of revenue within the My Modern Income opportunity is newly invested affiliate funds.

This means My Modern Income is operating as a Ponzi scheme.

As with all such schemes, once newly invested affiliate funds dries up, My Modern Income will find itself unable to meet its daily ROI obligations.

At that point the scheme collapses, with anyone who hasn’t ripped off more than they initially invested losing out.
