Brian Fouts has settled with the Profit Connect Receiver for $5000.

Fouts was a defendant in a clawback lawsuit filed by the Profit Connect Receiver last August.

As a net-winner, the Receiver accused Fouts (right) of misappropriating $32,350 through Profit Connect.

The Receiver and Fouts reached a settlement on October 23rd, 2025. Per the settlement, Fouts will pay $5000 to the Receiver.

Explaining the reduced settlement amount in an October 24th motion seeking settlement approval, the Receiver wrote;

Fouts has provided the Receiver with his financial records, and upon considering the assets of Fouts, if the Receiver obtained a judgment for the full amount of his claim, collection of such a judgment against Fouts would be very difficult.

Profit Connect was an MLM Ponzi scheme that defrauded consumers out of over $22 million.

The SEC filed suit against Profit Connect founders Brent Carson Kovar (right) and Joy Irene Kovar in July 2021.

Brent Kovar was indicted on Profit Connect criminal charges in February 2025.

As of March 2026 Kovar is on pre-trial release. Kovar’s criminal trial is currently scheduled for May 12th, 2026.
