Louisiana Sheriffs issue BG Wealth Sharing scam warning
The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office has issued a BG Wealth Sharing scam warning.
Assumption Parish is a parish located in the US state of Louisiana. Population 21,039 as of the 2020 census.
Posted earlier today on May 24th, the Sheriff’s Office warned;
SCAM ALERT: Re: BG WEALTH SHARING
If you have invested any funds through this company or through someone identifying as a representative of this company, you should immediately contact whoever you spoke to.
BG WEALTH SHARING has been identified as a massive, fraudulent cryptocurrency Ponzi and Pyramid scheme that was shut down by U. S. federal law enforcement in April of 2026.
Authorities seized the platform’s primary websites and froze in excess of $41 million dollars in stolen investor monies.
We do believe based on information developed that there are a significant number of parish resident’s who have contributed funds and others who are in the process of doing so. The scheme appears to have originated in China but were well organized in other parts of the world as well.
Again, you are urged to contact the point person you are dealing with if you believe you have been victimized.
Confusingly, the Sheriff’s Office twice urges BG Wealth Sharing victims to make contact with whoever recruited them.

I’m not sure if this is an error. It’s pretty common for Ponzi recruited to lie to their downlines to keep the scam going or dodgy liability.
Not to speak for the Sheriff’s Office but, unless you’re demanding compensation from your recruiter, you’re probably better off making a report with local and federal authorities.
BG Wealth Sharing is an MLM “click a button” app Ponzi run by Chinese scammers. BehindMLM has documented hundreds of the scams since they first emerged back in 2021.
DSJ Exchange, or DSJEX, is a fake crypto trading platform attached to BG Wealth Sharing. BG Wealth Sharing’s specific Ponzi ruse was bogus trading signals provided by DSJEX.
The original iteration of BG Wealth Sharing collapsed in late April 2026. Pending further action from authorities, BG Wealth Sharing investors, most of whom are victims who lost money, are now trapped between a “fake taxes” exit-scam and attempted reboot.
The BG Wealth Sharing “fake taxes” exit-scam has seen scammers running the Ponzi demand a 12% recovery fee. Outside of a few suspect withdrawal claims on social media, investors who the pay add to existing losses.
After the 12% recovery fee BG Wealth Sharing demanded an additional $1000 from each investor. The fee was announced and then dropped within 48 hours.
Currently three known BG Wealth Sharing reboots are being coordinated over Telegram and BonChat.
- various hqiXX.com domains – HQI Exchange, BG Wealth Sharing reboot with DSJ Exchange switched out for HQI Exchange

These are all Ponzi schemes run by Chinese scammers.
