WorldLink Team Review: Kirby Cochran fronts 4 year prelaunch?

WorldLink Team fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.

At time of publication, WorldLink Team’s website pitches a $149.95 founders fee. This is asked for without disclosing any information about the company.

Further research reveals WorldLinkTeam marketing presentations hosted by “Coach Ken”, aka Ken Kimes.

Kimes is cited as WorldLink Team’s Field Leader. In Kimes’ presentations, Kirby Cochran is cited as WorldLink Team’s CEO.

WorldLink Team marketing also cites Roger Grosser as its CEO and, as of 2021, company owner.

Why this crucial due-diligence information is hidden from consumers on WorldLink Team’s website is unclear.

BehindMLM first came across Kirby Cochran in 2012, as then CEO of WakeUpNow.

While providing a clear distinction between retail and affiliate subscribers, WakeUpNow was otherwise a convoluted mess.

Typically membership orientated schemes throw up a red flag due to a lack of distinction between retail members and company members however retail members are quite clearly defined here.

That said, the complexity and extremely poor manner in which the WakeUpNow compensation plan virtually overshadows this and drags the whole thing down as an income opportunity.

While retail was possible, it’s suspected that the majority of WakeUpNow member subscribers were affiliates. In other words, WakeUpNow operated as a pyramid scheme.

WakeUpNow collapsed in February 2015. By then Phil Polich had replaced Cochran as CEO.

In a public statement addressing the collapse, Polich blamed WakeUpNow’s demise on alleged executive abuse by Cochran.

By taking advantage of the office of Chief Executive Officer, Kirby Cochran had made decisions that put the company on an irreparable negative trajectory; and sadly, he went to great lengths to keep many of these decisions secret from the rest of the management team and board of directors.

As we made progress, we continued to discover that Kirby Cochran’s deceptive actions had put the company in a position from which it could not recover.

In the end, his decisions for a privileged few outweighed the incredible heart and dedication of the many.

The month before it officially collapsed, WakeUpNow filed a $70 million lawsuit against Cochran. The specifics of Cochran’s alleged executive abuse were laid out in detail in the filed January 27th suit (our article on the suit is far too long to even summarise here).

Nine days after WakeUpNow filed suit, Cochran filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

WakeUpNow’s lawsuit against Cochran was settled as part of his bankruptcy proceedings in July 2015.

In September 2015 Cochran, alongside brother Gary Cochran, resurfaced as CEO of Global Connection Network.

Global Connection Network’s business model heavily favored affiliate recruitment, lending itself to being another pyramid scheme.

Sometime after launch Global Connection Network started going by GCN Wireless.

In late 2021 Global Connection Network rebranded as Tetherbyte. This is from Tetherbyte’s website terms and conditions;

TetherByte, LLC and TetherByte, LLC name, logo, and all product names, company names, and other logos, unless otherwise noted, are trademarks and/or trade dress of Global Connection Network.

A visit to Tetherbyte’s website reveals the company seemingly never left prelaunch.

While still in prelaunch, Tetherbyte rebranded as WorldLink Team in February 2023.

Putting all of this together, we have Kirby Cochran –> Global Connection Network –> Tetherbyte –> WorldLink Team.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

WorldLink Team’s Products

WorldLink Team fails to disclose any retailable products or services on its website.

WorldLink Team marketing presentations cite four offered third-party services:

WorldLink cell service (offered through T-Mobile) – $50 a month

WellnessShield Plus – $60 a month

WeCare Advantage

WorldLink Team Travel hasn’t launched yet but is apparently coming in 2025.

Pricing for bundled access to services offered through WorldLink Team is through “success packages”:

Success Silver Package (WellnessShield Plus and WeCare Advantage) – $60 a month
Success Gold Package (WorldLink cell service, WellnessShield Plus and WeCare Advantage) – $109.95 a month

Note that at time of publication, the only thing you can do on WorldLink Team’s homepage is sign up as a “founder” affiliate.

WorldLink Team’s Compensation Plan

WorldLink Team’s compensation plan plays on subscription sales to (theoretically) retail customers and recruited affiliates.

WorldLink Team Affiliate Ranks

There are six affiliate ranks within WorldLink Team’s compensation plan.

Along with their respective qualification criteria, they are as follows:

Business Partner or Founder – sign up as a WorldLink Team affiliate
Elite Business Partner – generate and maintain 350 GV a month, and sell at least two active subscriptions
Managing Business Partner – generate and maintain 1000 GV a month
Senior Business Partner – generate and maintain 3000 GV a month
Regional Business Partner – generate and maintain 10,000 GV a month
National Business Partner – generate and maintain 25,000 GV a month

Note that until October 31st, 2024, WorldLink Team affiliates can rank promote by recruiting three Founder affiliates.

GV stands for “Group Volume”. Group Volume is generated by an affiliate’s own subscription sales and that of their downline:

sale of a Silver Success Package = 125 GV a month
sale of a Gold Success Package = 215 GV a month
sale of a standalone WorldLink Team cell service subscription = 85 GV a month
sale of a standalone WeCare Auto and/or Wellness Shield Plus subscription = not disclosed

Fast Start Bonus

WorldLink Team affiliates receive a Fast Start Bonus upon signing up.

The Fast Start Bonus rewards affiliates for generating new subscription sales across a binary compensation structure.

A binary compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a binary team, split into two sides (left and right):

The first level of the binary team houses two positions. The second level of the binary team is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).

Subsequent levels of the binary team are generated as required, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.

Positions in the binary team are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of affiliates. Note there is no limit to how deep a binary team can grow.

For the purpose of Fast Start Bonus tracking, the following reduced BV amounts are generated per subscription sale:

Success Silver Package – 15 BV
Success Gold Package – 25 BV
WorldLink cell service – 10 BV a month
standalone WeCare Auto and/or Wellness Shield Plus – not disclosed

Personal subscription sales are tracked across both sides of the binary team. The Fast Start Bonus pays out as follows:

day 1 to day 60 – generate 50 BV on both sides of the binary team and receive $20 per match
day 61 to day 120 – generate 100 BV on both sides of the binary team and receive $20 per match

Residual Commissions

WorldLink Team pays residual commissions via the same binary compensation structure used to pay the Fast Start Bonus (see “Fast Start Bonus” above).

From 121 days since joining WorldLink Team, A $20 residual commissions is paid per 100 BV on one side of the binary team matched with 200 BV on the other side.

The Fast Start Bonus is paid on all generated BV during a WorldLink Team affiliate’s first 120 days.

Note which side of the binary team has 100 BV and which has 200 BV doesn’t matter.

Revenue Sharing

WorldLink Team sets aside 10% of company-wide revenue and uses it to fund a Revenue Pool.

WorldLink Team affiliates earn monthly shares in the Revenue Pool based on rank:

Elite Business Partners receive one share
Managing Business Partners receive three shares
Senior Business Partners receive six shares
Regional Business Partners receive ten shares
National Business Partners receive fifteen shares

WorldLink Team affiliate membership is $299.99. Note this is reduced to $149.99 till the end of October 2024.

WorldLink Team Conclusion

Tetherbyte launching in late 2021, never progressing past prelaunch, rebooting as WorldLink Team in early 2023 and still being in prelaunch is pretty incredulous.

And this is from WordLink Team’s website;

As of August 2024, monthly traffic to WorldLink Team’s website is so low Similar doesn’t track it.

If we put aside WorldLink Team’s business model has effectively been in prelaunch for four years, taken “as is” the company’s legitimacy as an MLM opportunity lies in retail subscriptions.

Based on Tetherbyte’s and WorldLink Team’s respective websites, it appears all visitors to either site have been able to do since 2021 is sign up as a founding affiliate.

Today, this lends itself to everyone in WorldLink Team being an affiliate.

Limited time or otherwise, WorldLink Team rank qualification being simplified to “recruit three affiliates” emphasized this focus. It’s not “refer three retail subscribers”, it’s “recruit three affiliates”.

With recruitment the primary focus of WorldLink Team, what subscription services are offered thus become irrelevant.

With respect to FTC compliance, MLM companies that don’t generate significant retail sales company-wide are operating as pyramid schemes.

Such was the case with WakeUpNow and, on face value, such was the case with previous WorldLink Team incarnations, and such is the case with WorldLink Team today.

Disclosures to consumers is another area WorldLink Team massively fails at (potential FTC Act violations). With respect to WorldLink Team’s website, this includes ownership and executive information, retail product subscription information and full compensation details.

As with all MLM pyramid schemes, once affiliate recruitment dries up so too will commissions.

This will eventually see affiliate subscribers stop spending, resulting in even more commissions drying up.

I’m tempted to say after four years of prelaunch WorldLink Team is pretty obviously DOA. Kirby Cochran appears to be a CEO in hiding. A Google search for “cochran worldlink team” fails to return even one relevant result.

Obviously there’s a core group still trying to promote WorldLink Team but otherwise common sense dictates, after four years, anyone who is going to sign up probably has.

This review was a reader request. On September 2022 “Anon” left the following comment on BehindMLM’s “About” page:

Can you do another review on Kirby Cochran’s Global Connection Network reboot number four or five so people won’t waste their time and money to line the pockets of Kirby Cochran and CFO, COO Roger Grosser any longer.

Their scam keeps getting more and more scammy with each reboot and the loss of any reputable experienced marketer out there.

No heavy hitter in direct sales or product with an ounce of ethics will touch this company the moment they find out Kirby Cochran and his ever changing gang of nobodies are the corporate team for the reboot which is now WorldLink Team.

Hell, even Tom McMurrain wouldn’t touch this one for a fast buck after doing his due diligence on Kirby Cochran and Roger Grosser.

Out of desperation, Kirby sent letters to several marketers he felt were heavy hitters promising a small ownership percentage to help him scam a few thousand poor souls out $149 to join and getting some back door mobile service with no customer service other than his cronie Roger Grosser to ignore and berate people with a question about anything from service to transparency.

Customer support is run through Roger’s Facebook chat group that he uses to commit defamation and degrading of anyone needing assistance or an understanding of how this thing works.

I started with the company way back in the beginning when Kirby actually had several of the recently shut down Solavei heavy hitters.

After collecting the entry fee and getting everyone to port over to an AT&T line that Kirby unethically sourced through some telecom solutions reseller named Scott Jonasz out of Arizona unbeknownst to AT&T who wanted nothing to do with any MLM.

Before long, Kirby named me as a master distributor along with a few others I already knew through Solavei’s Leadership Council that its top earners were invited to participate in.

We all moved a good part of our lists right over which gave Kirby a hefty pay day in enrollment fees along with $30 spiffs in every activated line every month.

Those monies on top of over $1million from some unwitting investors that included a European group he somehow conned out of $500k and his long time friends had Kirby doing quite well for himself with no real operating expenses beyond a really crappy website, some ridiculous videos his brother Gary made, and the two months he actually paid us our pennies on a portion of the money he was raking in and funneling to his own accounts.

After only being paid for two months the pay stopped and people started dropping like flies because it wasn’t long before Kirby stopped paying Scott Jonasz while claiming to the field that Scott ripped him off out of so much money he couldn’t pay.

Next came a new back door guy named Jermaine Harrison of Algorithm out of Edmond, OK who he met through his WUN days of corruption to provide another back door service to keep Kirby under the radar to keep AT&T in the dark about running a mobile service MLM company as a front for Kirby to funnel some big cash for himself .

I mean somebody had to pay off poor Kirby’s WUN settlement and Kirby knew he had to scam someone else or a lot of someone else’s to do the work for him to pay the settlement and keep them working long enough to keep up his money for nothing way of life since none of his previous WUN big earners who publicly praised him as a Demi God would touch anything to do with Kirby Cochran if their lives depended on it.

That wasn’t for his lack of trying. Kirby did try to bring a few WUN’s mid level earners he thought would need the money bad enough to fall for a few bucks thrown their way and promises of ownership shares.

YG and BJ Dolla were offered $10k or so to come onboard with promises of much more later. Both of those and all that followed ended very badly and nobody came onboard with the likes of Kirby to fall for another of his coms.

I guess Kirby Cochran’s narcissistic ways won’t let him see that once is enough for anyone with a brain and that this perpetual victim is actually the predator.

The deal with Jermaine also didn’t last long, and it was the same old song and dance once again with poor helpless Kirby Cochran being screwed over by another mobile service reseller who “refused to pay him”… more and more smoke and mirrors reminiscent of the wizard of oz.

When the European investors came calling for their investment return and a need for yet another reseller he could scam into doing business with him to hoodwink AT&T arose, Kirby decided a name change and rebranding with a whole new launch and collection of enrollment fees for Kirby occurred.

GCN / Global Connection Network became Tetherbyte and Dan Choi of Uppro entered to become the next “Master Account Holder” with AT&T to back door service to Kirby’s rogue MLM on the AT&T network.

The reps left who had not been paid in a few years were promised pay and the race was on to bring numbers back up!

…until it wasn’t! Since Kirby was the back alley MLM mobile service provider who AT&T could not know about, he made a big deal to reps about not enrolling too many people at a time because “the system couldn’t handle it” aka AT&T couldn’t wonder why this no name business in need to telecom services was suddenly issuing service to so many people.

After a customer or two having trouble with Roger the Grouch as customer service for Tetherbyte called AT&T for help, the field was put on pause for enrolling at all and another few who were paid once or twice in 2020 after not being paid since 2016 were now going to be on a LONG stretch of no pay at all once again..all the way to 2024.

Those who stayed did so only because it gave them free service for three (until they also changed that to 7 recently) and went to work elsewhere.

Poor old Kirby had to resort to merely funneling the monthly spiffs on his ever dwindling numbers since he wasn’t paying and customer service was Roger Grosser who can’t recruit to save his life.

The only actual true recruiters he had left put a pause on Tetherbyte and WorldLink until a viable product became an offering, pay resumed, and there was transparency about numbers and finances.

We all know how that ended. Kirby is not going to be transparent with anyone because the truth is downright criminal with only his little sheep of a CFO Roger Grosser to comply with Kirby’s money funneling.

Over the years Kirby and Roger ran off any actual decent recruiter who asked questions, stood up for the field, or was not okay with all the shady stuff going down.

In 2021, in a letter to the field, Kirby stepped down as CEO and owner of the company. The Kilgore’s and Roger Grosser became the new owners with a 50/50 split.

Roger was CFO and Kilgore’s CEO. Roger continued his shady financial money funneling of profits to Kirby’s personal accounts and the Kilgore’s went to work vetting and setting up meetings with options for a viable product directly through the company it was sourced from.

Because I a, friends with the Kilgore’s and would have even come back under their direction with an actual product offering I know they were actively working in this capacity until late August or early September 2024.

In those years it was next to impossible to find anyone who would even speak to anyone who had anything to do with Kirby Cochran and anyone they came across willing to take a chance based on their relationship with the Kilgore’s was quickly shut down by Roger and Kirby.

The Kilgore’s asked repeatedly for financials and their rightful decision making power but Roger Grosser refused and not only kept Kirby as receiver of monthly spiff money but as the decider of all things WorldLink Team.

Yep, Kirby Cochran has no ownership and held no position in the company but under Roger Grosser’s fraudulent actions as half owner and CEO laundered all monies Kirby’s way and gave him decision making power without consent or Kilgore’s.

A couple weeks ago the Kilgore’s were removed from everything WorldLink Team, a ton of people were kicked our of Roger Grosser’s customer service and team chat, a slew of “leaders” nobody has ever heard of were added, and Kirby was added to the website as CEO and the date on the website’s grand relaunch was changed to October 2024!

A couple of months ago, a handful of members began making their commissions again. Most are at $20. Nobody knows how many members there even are due to complete lack of transparency but as of a couple of days ago it was 51 (right before I was removed since I have no intention of representing a company of such horrible ethics and criminal behavior operating some flim flam bs unprofessional crap and was only “riding out my free service” which I decided wasn’t worth the bad juju of being attached in any way to anything Kirby Cochran or Roger Grosser.

So I was kicked out of the chat for not portion my number out and activating a line with another back door deal they have come up with through Verizon or T-Mobile because AT&T finally shut them down.

On 9/11 the new leadership jokers started their recruiting webinars and they are quite the comedic tragedy! If all the other crap Kirby has pulled didn’t warn people away, these webinars would have to. Most unprofessional thing I have ever seen and more new scammy digital products added.

Now you can earn .66666667 cents for every $30 Kirby gets monthly from the phone lines IF your lines have the correct 200 by to 100 by balance. That is 300 people to get $20!

LMFAO It gets better!

You can pay $30 each month for an auto repair savings of 15 – 25% through WeCare Advantage through WorldLink Team while the sa,e service is $8.88 monthly directly through WeCare Advantage and free through many employers and discount programs just as telecom is which is their other “amazing” “product” that is a non product reminiscent of WUN which I’m Kirby Cochran’s own words was nothing but a money game.

Please review this sham to help save people a little money and potentially a lot of time putting money into Kirby’ pocket for what he has to see as one last hoorah at scamming another crap of people out of $149 and lots of time to build his own personal fundraiser to ride his life out.

Hello, this is Roger Grosser, proud SOLE OWNER of WorldLink Team.

I would not have even known about this post unless an associate had informed me that it had been posted here. I had to read it a few times to fully grasp the hateful and vitriolic nature of its content, and now I am compelled to respond to the libelous, slanderous, defamatory comments in this post, which are, quite frankly, lawsuit-provoking.

I will address each of her points individually, so please bear with me.

I say “her”, because the author of this post is Kristine Kilgour. Her husband is Ed Kilgour, the self-proclaimed CEO of WorldLink Team.

I find it interesting that these two suddenly come out of the woodwork claiming “ownership” after two years in absentia, having basically fallen off the face of the earth with nary a peep. Please read on…..

KK: Their scam keeps getting more and more scammy with each reboot and the loss of any reputable experienced marketer out there.

RG: The whole premise of this post is to try to protect marketers. But the Kilgour’s were recently removed for cross-recruiting and trying to get the company’s distributors to sell a pirated television service that several multi-level and other internet companies have tried, yet have been indicted, convicted, and sentenced to prison.

WorldLink sells products that people want, need, and will use.

KK: No heavy hitter in direct sales or product with an ounce of ethics will touch this company the moment they find out Kirby Cochran and his ever changing gang of nobodies are the corporate team for the reboot which is now WorldLink Team.

RG: This statement is a reflection of the Mr. and Mrs. Kilgour being kicked out. If this were the case, why would they wait until they were removed from the company? If they knew all this, why did they continue to be affiliated with the company?

KK: Hell, even Tom McMurrain wouldn’t touch this one for a fast buck after doing his due diligence on Kirby Cochran and Roger Grosser.

RG: If they knew that there were issues, they continued to be a part of the company, and until now, they were just fine being associated with the company.

The Kilgours tried to get Mr. Cochran to start selling illegal television services and marketing to the distributors of WorldLink.

When Mr. Cochran Kirby found out what the service was, he told Mr. Kilgour and his supplier that he was not interested and immediately ended his part of the call.

RG: Mr. Cochran never sent letters to several “heavy hitters”‘. Over the last ten years, less than five people were offered special incentives if they wanted to be a part of the company.

This is not illegal or unprofessional, and in fact, it is customary in the course of any business to offer special incentives for those people who can perform.

KK: Customer support is run through Roger’s Facebook chat group that he uses to commit defamation and degrading of anyone needing assistance or an understanding of how this thing works.

RG: I indeed perform many roles and responsibilities, and answering questions, direction, etc. has been and is done on FaceBook Messenger. This is effective and lets distributors know what is going on.

It is also not unusual for members of Messenger Chat to try to recruit our members to other network marketing companies.

I have responded over the years when people posted things that were inappropriate and even removed them. I have removed members for these exact things including Mr. and Mrs. Kilgour.

If the self-proclaimed CEO of your company is caught cross-recruiting your members to other programs, wouldn’t that make you “grouchy”, too?

RG: This statement is incorrect. Ed did not start the company. He was among a few people who approached Mr. Cochran to include telephone service to the existing GCN company.

Mr. Cochran went to his personal contacts to find a telephone service provider. To claim exclusive credit for starting what is now WorldLink Team is an aggrandizement and total stretching of the truth.

KK: After collecting the entry fee and getting everyone to port over to an AT&T line that Kirby unethically sourced through some telecom solutions reseller named Scott Jonasz out of Arizona unbeknownst to AT&T who wanted nothing to do with any MLM.

RG: This is a complete lie. How are they writing this? If it were true, why did they continue to be a part of the company and use its services?

If you want to fact-check this, please get in touch with Mr. Jonasz.

Mr. Jonasz was basically a wholesaler for AT&T. He had other companies for whom he provided telephone services. His largest customer failed to pay its bill for over 10,000 people for two months, so Mr. Jonasz was responsible for paying the bill, which amounted to hundreds of thousands of dollars, and he couldn’t pay it.

At that time, GCN was completely current on its bill, but AT&T turned off everybody’s telephone service for lack of payment. Mr. Jonasz will let you know there was nothing done “unethically” on the part of Mr. Cochran.

KK: Before long, Kirby named me as a master distributor along with a few others I already knew through Solavei’s Leadership Council that its top earners were invited to participate in.

RG: Mr. Kilgour did indeed know people who were in Solavei, as we all did. I do not know whether Mr. Kilgour was a Master Distributor or not. When AT&T turned off thousands of Scott Jonasz customers, they turned off over one thousand people from GCN from no actions on GCN’s part.

Several hundred people, even those who came from Solavei were disappointed and left GCN.

RG: In checking and verifying with Mr. Cochran, neither GCN nor Mr. Cochran received even one dollar in spiffs from Scott Jonasz or AT&T.

Those spiffs, if they were paid, the money or credit was remitted to Scott’s company. The Kilgour’s post is meant to hurt and disparage WorldLink, Kirby Cochran, and myself.

RG: My question and statement is this: If the Kilgour’s statement is correct, and they are just high and upstanding citizens, why did they wait to come forth with this inflammatory post?

Checking with Mr. Cochran, he does not deny that GCN had early investors. He denies that it was even close to a half million dollars. He did not approach them; they came to him and his brother.

As with any investment, there are inherent risks when starting any company. It is completely false that there were “no real” operating expenses.

Regarding any website, what one person likes, another person may not. In their post, Mr. and Mrs. Kilgour failed to disclose that GCN paid them $2,000 a month for several months to help them pay their living expenses out of the “…no real operating expenses.”

KK: After only being paid for two months the pay stopped and people started dropping like flies because it wasn’t long before Kirby stopped paying Scott Jonasz while claiming to the field that Scott ripped him off out of so much money he couldn’t pay.

RG: The Kilgours know this is a lie. Scott Jonasz’s company collected money from the credit cards of GCN’s customers.

When Scott couldn’t pay AT&T, they turned off everybody’s phone service. And, yes, GCN couldn’t pay commissions because Scott didn’t send any money after what happened with AT&T.

It was unfortunate. Scott was as much a victim as was GCN. This post is trying to extract vengeance on WorldLink for removing Mr. and Mrs. Kilgour from the company and no longer providing them with free cell phone service.

KK: Next came a new back door guy named Jermaine Harrison of Algorithm out of Edmond, OK who he met through his WUN days of corruption to provide another back door service to keep Kirby under the radar to keep AT&T in the dark about running a mobile service MLM company as a front for Kirby to funnel some big cash for himself .

RG: There is a clear pattern here by Mr. and Mrs. Kilgour. They want to cover up anything they could have possibly done and put the blame on Mr. Cochran and myself.

They were, in fact the ones who introduced Mr. Harrison for his ability to provide cell phone service after AT&T terminated all of our lines of service.

There were still about 300 people who wanted to be a part of the GCN. Mr. Harrison said he provided telephone services and he would provide all of the computer programming for onboarding GCN’s customers manually and not even enter them into a promised administration website and dashboard for the customers.

At that time, many customers were anxious to get going again, but Mr. Harrison wanted to sign people on to service through his account with AT&T.

Mr. Cochran was reluctant to do so but relented. Mr. Harrison ran the credit cards, kept the money, and never paid GCN a dollar.

GCN sued Mr. Harrison and won in court. Mr. and Mrs. Kilgour were called as witnesses and traveled to Utah to appear in court.

Again, the Kilgours want to use half-truths, innuendos, and complete lies to obfuscate the truth.

KK: I mean somebody had to pay off poor Kirby’s WUN settlement and Kirby knew he had to scam someone else or a lot of someone else’s to do the work for him to pay the settlement and keep them working long enough to keep up his money for nothing way of life since none of his previous WUN big earners who publicly praised him as a Demi God would touch anything to do with Kirby Cochran if their lives depended on it.

RG: As any reader can tell, the Kilgours do not know what they are saying. It is public knowledge through the courts of Utah that there was a complete settlement agreement between Mr. Cochran and WUN, in which both parties dropped their claims against each other with no monetary settlement on either side.

Again, why did they continue to associate with him if Mr. Cochran was such a crook and the Kilgours were aware of his questionable behavior?

And, again, within the last month, they tried to get Mr. Cochran to start another business with them selling illegal television streaming services.

This entire post is trying to get this website to do a follow-up on Kirby Cochran, and it is meant to hurt me, the WorldLink Team, and Mr. Cochran.

KK: That wasn’t for his lack of trying. Kirby did try to bring a few WUN’s mid level earners he thought would need the money bad enough to fall for a few bucks thrown their way and promises of ownership shares.

RG: Going after the same thing of disparaging Mr. Cochran while associating with him for several years ultimately shows their false narrative.

It is a fact that for at least five different jobs, that Kristine Kilgour used Mr. Cochran as a reference to get multiple jobs. Does this sound like Mr. Cochran is a man of questionable integrity?

The Kilgours were not and have never been duped into some elaborate scam. The fact is when Mr. Cochran was diagnosed with cancer and was in the process of shutting down the company, the opportunity to start a new company came up.

I, Roger Grosser formed the company and became the sole stock owner. I have the Articles of Organization to prove it.

Mr. Kilgour was given an opportunity to purchase a large share of the company for a nominal price of $100. He did not.

I repeatedly asked for his money to finalize the issue of stock. He had several chances and never did.

I said he could be President. I never gave him the authority to claim he was CEO, but he still claimed that title. I chose not to correct him on this as I felt that would reflect poorly on the company’s members.

Mr. Kilgour was responsible for growing the company members, but he didn’t do that even after giving him money for a marketing budget and getting him leads to follow up on.

Within months of this, I found out he had joined another networking marketing company and had recruited members of WorldLink to join that company.

When WorldLink discovered that he had joined another company and was cross-recruiting, he was told he couldn’t be President, CEO, or hold any other management position.

He was asked what he thought people would think if the CEO had joined another company and was recruiting for that company.

KK: YG and BJ Dolla were offered $10k or so to come onboard with promises of much more later. Both of those and all that followed ended very badly and nobody came onboard with the likes of Kirby to fall for another of his cons.

RG: Again, this is a false statement. The truth is that YG joined the company and wanted to sell a travel product.

Mr. Cochran hired a specialized attorney to get licensed in the states where a company selling travel needed to be licensed.

Mr. Cochran personally borrowed $50,000 from his son to pay for this licensing, and even today, I know Mr. Cochran is paying that loan back.

The development time to get the website up and going for the travel and YG wanting to have everything up and going led to a financial decision to discontinue paying YG.

There was no “…fall for another his cons” There were no bad feelings about between Mr. Cochran or YG. There wasn’t enough money to continue the development of the travel business.

The Kilgours are again writing this entire post to disparage WorldLink, Mr. Cochran, and myself.

KK: I guess Kirby Cochran’s narcissistic ways won’t let him see that once is enough for anyone with a brain and that this perpetual victim is actually the predator.

RG: This is very disappointing from the Kilgours. I know that Mr. Cochran isn’t the “narcissistic” person they portray him as. It is so disingenuous on their part.

Why have they continued to have a relationship with him? I have often seen Mr. Cochran defend and even support the Kilgours. I know that Kilgours, as recently as this summer, asked him for a donation to help pay for his son to go to the Olympic tryouts, and Mr. Cochran donated money to their son at their request.

Mr. Cochran told me that he did not want to be a part of a business in Kilgours that sold illegal video streaming. This post is nothing but sour grapes on the part of Kilgours.

KK: The deal with Jermaine also didn’t last long, and it was the same old song and dance once again with poor helpless Kirby Cochran being screwed over by another mobile service reseller who “refused to pay him”… more and more smoke and mirrors reminiscent of the wizard of oz.

RG: Again, as mentioned above, the Kilgours need to represent the facts here. Mr. Harrison got about 145 GCN customers, collected money, never sent the money to GCN, kept GCN’s customers, was sued, GCN won, and the Kilgours went to Utah to be witnesses for GCN, where they were even guests at Mr. Cochran’s house.

The facts are the facts, and because of their removal from WorldLink, they want to cause disparagement and spew this vitriol on us.

KK: When the European investors came calling for their investment return and a need for yet another reseller he could scam into doing business with him to hoodwink AT&T arose, Kirby decided a name change and rebranding with a whole new launch and collection of enrollment fees for Kirby occurred.

RG: This is so shameful on their part. This entire post is slanderous and defamatory. They know this stuff isn’t true.

The Kilgours have no personal knowledge of the capital structure of GCN, and they do not know the investors.

The investors never requested their money back. Yes, they were disappointed the venture failed, but they understood the risks of going into the business.

The company’s name was changed from selling physical products to telephone service and not focusing on growing the company internationally. When Mr. Cochran got cancer, his health and stamina prevented him running the company other than being a consultant.

He has no ownership in the company. Mr. Cochran borrowed personally to help keep the company going over the years. At this time, other than a personal commitment on my part to help him pay off the company’s debt, he has no ownership of the company.

As I said, it is shameful for the Kilgours to slander and defame Mr. Cochran, who has been extremely supportive of the Kilgours throughout the years he has known them.

KK: GCN / Global Connection Network became Tetherbyte and Dan Choi of Uppro entered to become the next “Master Account Holder” with AT&T to back door service to Kirby’s rogue MLM on the AT&T network.

RG: The Kilgours know this isn’t true. They don’t even know the correct terminology. GCN indeed did business with AT&T; the company could provide cell phone services to our members. GCN wasn’t allowed to retail phone service.

Again, the question is, if this was true, and the Kilgours are such good and noble people, why were they involved with the company at this time? No one was forcing them. Why did they have a continued and cordial relationship with Mr. Cochran and myself?

KK: The reps left who had not been paid in a few years were promised pay and the race was on to bring numbers back up!

RG: This is a complete lie and slander! The company’s distributors have always been paid. To say so is a complete lie.

Now that the truth is being told, if there is any party continuing to perpetuate these lies, slanders, or defamation, that party or person is subject to legal action.

KK: …until it wasn’t! Since Kirby was the back alley MLM mobile service provider who AT&T could not know about, he made a big deal to reps about not enrolling too many people at a time because “the system couldn’t handle it” aka AT&T couldn’t wonder why this no name business in need to telecom services was suddenly issuing service to so many people.

RG: Again, this is false. GCN was told at the very beginning that AT&T was aware of our business model.

If this was such a disaster, doesn’t it make you wonder why they continued their relationship with GCN and then to TetherByte to WorldLink? I believe they are mad at me for not giving them ownership in the company and then kicking them out for trying to recruit the distributors of WorldLink into an illegal scheme to sell pirated streaming television programming.

KK: After a customer or two having trouble with Roger the Grouch as customer service for Tetherbyte called AT&T for help, the field was put on pause for enrolling at all and another few who were paid once or twice in 2020 after not being paid since 2016 were now going to be on a LONG stretch of no pay at all once again.all the way to 2024.

RG: Mr. and Mrs. Kilgour have no proof of who has been paid or not paid to make this defamatory statement! In the transition from GCN to TetherByte, the company had to develop its computer systems and processes; it was slowed during this time.

All people have been paid and are being paid. To have the Kilgours or anybody else spread these falsehoods is slander and defamation, and they are leaving themselves open to potential lawsuits and other legal action.

KK: Those who stayed did so only because it gave them free service for three (until they also changed that to 7 recently) and went to work elsewhere.

Poor old Kirby had to resort to merely funneling the monthly spiffs on his ever dwindling numbers since he wasn’t paying and customer service was Roger Grosser who can’t recruit to save his life.

RG: Again, these are lies. Neither Mr. Kilgour, nor Mrs. Kilgour held any management role in the company other than Mr. Kilgour for a short period of time being president.

The Kilgours completely disappeared from being involved in the company for over two years other than randomly contacting Mr. Cochran to complain about me.

Their posts reek of being caught in lies and trying to persuade the public not to be involved in the company.

It is clear slander and defamation, and again, since I am providing a rebuttal to their posts, anybody who continues to make these representations is subject to legal proceedings against them.

KK: The only actual true recruiters he had left put a pause on Tetherbyte and WorldLink until a viable product became an offering, pay resumed, and there was transparency about numbers and finances.

RG: The Kilgours have a very high opinion of themselves. They did disappear for more than two years. They didn’t contribute other than to complain.

They joined another network marketing company without telling the company, and it wasn’t until I suspected this was going on from the messenger group that it was confirmed.

How they think they should be a part of the company, position, and title when they are not even around and contributing is beyond anyone’s comprehension.

KK: We all know how that ended. Kirby is not going to be transparent with anyone because the truth is downright criminal with only his little sheep of a CFO Roger Grosser to comply with Kirby’s money funneling.

RG: This is an absolute lie! It defames me and Mr. Cochran. Mr. Kilgour had a duty of responsibility as President of the company. He calls me and Mr. Cochran names to defame us.

There is no truth to his false claims of “Kirby’s money funneling.” I am solely responsible for the finances of the WorldLink Team. Other than paying Mr. Cochran back the debt he originally incurred to start and keep his company going, I can unequivocally state that the company’s books are run according to generally accepted accounting rules, and there is no questionable, illegal, or unethical use or payment of money.

To say otherwise by anyone is meant to harm and slander the company, Mr. Cochran, and myself.

KK: Over the years Kirby and Roger ran off any actual decent recruiter who asked questions, stood up for the field, or was not okay with all the shady stuff going down.

RG: It is easy to make overbroad and salacious statements. The Kilgours do not give any facts here other than to cause harm. They do not disclose that they had Mr. Kilgour’s position registered with WorldLink as a distributor in the company in his wife’s name.

Mr. Cochran says that they told him this because Mr. Kilgour was getting governmental financial assistance, and they couldn’t have the distributor position in Mr. Kilgour’s name as that would disqualify them from getting paid by the government.

KK: In 2021, in a letter to the field, Kirby stepped down as CEO and owner of the company. The Kilgore’s and Roger Grosser became the new owners with a 50/50 split.

RG: He was given the chance to buy his stock. He never paid for it. He did everything he could to hurt the company. To even begin to think that the Kilgours should have ownership claim in this company is laughable.

They contributed nothing. They paid nothing. They joined another network marketing company without telling me, which hurt the company because it caused its distributors to question if the “CEO/President” is trying to get WorldLink’s distributors to go to another company; what should they think about being distributors of WorldLink?

On top of all this, he didn’t participate in weekly calls, he didn’t work with the distributors of the company for over two years. Then to find out that he was trying to get Mr. Cochran to start another company selling pirated and illegal streaming television where he and Mr. Cochran would own the new company on a 50/50 basis.

Does anybody with even an ounce of common sense think that Mr. and Mrs. Kilgour should be allowed to have any part of the WorldLink Team?

KK: Roger was CFO and Kilgore’s CEO. Roger continued his shady financial money funneling of profits to Kirby’s personal accounts and the Kilgore’s went to work vetting and setting up meetings with options for a viable product directly through the company it was sourced from.

RG: Once again, the Kilgours certainly have a highly inflated opinion of themselves. He calls his “vetting” for a “viable product” of selling pirated and illegal television streaming as something WorldLink should consider and do. WorldLink will not sell products or services of questionable illegal and unethical standards.

KK: Because I a, friends with the Kilgore’s and would have even come back under their direction with an actual product offering I know they were actively working in this capacity until late August or early September 2024.

RG: This is a complete lie. You will notice here that they do not tell you what the actual product was.

Several companies and network marketing companies that have sold these pirated illegal television streaming services have been indicted, arrested, tried, convicted, and sent to prison for what the Kilgours were saying was “…an actual product offering.”

Mr. Cochran had a Zoom call on Monday, August 19, 2024, with Mr. Kilgour and the owner of the streaming internet television streaming business.

Before the call, Mr. Cochran wasn’t told what the product or service was. On the call, Mr. Kilgour told the owner that “we,” meaning Mr. Cochran and he had 60 to 100 people to become affiliate marketers that would sell the product.

Mr. Cochran believed that Mr. Kilgour was referring to the current distributors of WorldLink. Furthermore, Mr. Cochran then stopped the conversation and said that he didn’t even know what the product or service was being discussed.

The owner then told him of the company that it was television streaming. Mr. Cochran asked if they were streaming paid channels such as HBO and Pay Per View; the owner said yes.

Mr. Cochran then asked if his company had license agreements to stream that kind of content, and the owner said that Congress gave everybody the right to do so.

Mr. Cochran, knowing that this was false and this was illegal, said that he was going to save them time and himself time by saying he wasn’t interested and dropped off the call.

Now that the other side has been disclosed, if anybody publishes anything other than this, they are participating in the crime of slander and defamation.

KK: In those years it was next to impossible to find anyone who would even speak to anyone who had anything to do with Kirby Cochran and anyone they came across willing to take a chance based on their relationship with the Kilgore’s was quickly shut down by Roger and Kirby.

RG: Unfortunately, this part is true. In the settlement with WUN, neither party could say anything about the lawsuit and settlement.

People are unaware that when a lawsuit is filed, the person filing the lawsuit can say anything they want, even though they know that there are half-truths, lies, defamation of character, etc, without it being slander.

A lawsuit, once it is filed, is public information. Once the original lawsuit was filed, people posted it on the internet. There can be complete lies in a lawsuit, and the filer of the lawsuit is not liable for their lies and falsehood up until the defendant files an answer to that lawsuit, but if the filer withdraws or amends the lawsuit before the defendant answers the lawsuit, it is not slander, and the petitioner (filer) is not deemed to have committed slander.

This is what happened to Mr. Cochran. Among the many lies and falsehoods, the WUN lawsuit even said Mr. Cochran had been arrested.

That was a complete lie and was verified by third parties. It is no wonder people could have a less-than-favorable opinion of Mr. Cochran. But, it has not been “impossible” to find people who want to be involved with WorldLink with Mr. Cochran’s involvement.

KK: The Kilgore’s asked repeatedly for financials and their rightful decision making power but Roger Grosser refused and not only kept Kirby as receiver of monthly spiff money but as the decider of all things WorldLink Team.

RG: It is unlikely that the Kilgours can provide any proof or evidence of where they requested financials, as I cannot ever remember them asking for the financials.

Their statement here is a complete fabrication of the truth. They do not even know how the spiff money is applied or if it was ever applied. I keep the financial books, and there has been no misuse of funds in the company.

To publish anything else is false and is subject to legal action.

KK: Yep, Kirby Cochran has no ownership and held no position in the company but under Roger Grosser’s fraudulent actions as half owner and CEO laundered all monies Kirby’s way and gave him decision making power without consent or Kilgore’s.

RG: Apparently, Kilgours do not understand that WorldLink Team is a DBA of TetherByte LLC, and I am its sole owner.

I am the Managing Member of the LLC. There have been no fraudulent actions, and to say so is defamation and is subject to legal action.

As the Managing Member, I have no duty to give financials to anybody who is not a member. Mr. Kilgour breached his duties as President in many different ways. He was offered to buy his ownership of the company for $100, and failed to.

No money has been laundered to Mr. Cochran, and to say so is slander to Mr. Cochran, WorldLink, and me. To convey anything but this without proof is subject to legal action of libel and defamation.

KK: A couple weeks ago the Kilgore’s were removed from everything WorldLink Team, a ton of people were kicked our of Roger Grosser’s customer service and team chat, a slew of “leaders” nobody has ever heard of were added, and Kirby was added to the website as CEO and the date on the website’s grand relaunch was changed to October 2024!

RG: Two weeks ago, WorldLink experienced a disruption in its service. That was resolved within a few hours. It was at that time that Kilgore’s free service was interrupted. Subsequently, I told them they needed to transfer their numbers.

They were being removed as distributors from WorldLink because they had a duty and responsibility to WorldLink. They broke their duties by joining another network marketing company, by not holding the weekly calls, Mr. Kilgour leaving the country for another country for months, not having anything to do with the Company for over two years; I removed Kilgours for “Cause,” and as Managing Member I had every right to do so.

As far as Mr. Cochran being CEO, that is not correct. I offered him the position, and I was hopeful and thought he would accept. The notification that he was CEO was premature on the Company’s part.

The offer was extended to him, and he declined the position; subsequently, his information as CEO was removed. Mr. Cochran remains a consultant to the Company.

KK: A couple of months ago, a handful of members began making their commissions again. Most are at $20. Nobody knows how many members there even are due to complete lack of transparency but as of a couple of days ago it was 51 (right before I was removed since I have no intention of representing a company of such horrible ethics and criminal behavior operating some flim flam bs unprofessional crap and was only “riding out my free service” which I decided wasn’t worth the bad juju of being attached in any way to anything Kirby Cochran or Roger Grosser.

KK: So I was kicked out of the chat for not portion my number out and activating a line with another back door deal they have come up with through Verizon or T-Mobile because AT&T finally shut them down.

RG: This is another lie. There are no “back door deals,” and to say so is slander! The Kilgours were removed because they were inactive with WorldLink for two years and had been recruiting WorldLink distributors into other business opportunities and questionable ventures.

Why would WorldLink want that behavior to happen on its Messenger Chat when WorldLink is trying to grow its business? WorldLink does not have a duty to provide a forum to help build other non-owened WorldLink businesses.

KK: On 9/11 the new leadership jokers started their recruiting webinars and they are quite the comedic tragedy! If all the other crap Kirby has pulled didn’t warn people away, these webinars would have to. Most unprofessional thing I have ever seen and more new scammy digital products added.

RG: Sour grapes – as already been stated, the Kilgours have been soliciting Mr. Cochran to go into business with them as recently as August 19, 2024. They are upset that I finally said enough was enough.

They will stoop to any means to hurt Mr. Cochran, WorldLink, and myself by such defamatory and false statements. Again, if anyone distributes any other information without conveying the entirety of my response, it will be considered perpetuating fraud, slander, and defamation.

KK: Now you can earn .66666667 cents for every $30 Kirby gets monthly from the phone lines IF your lines have the correct 200 by to 100 by balance. That is 300 people to get $20!

RG: Mr. Kilgour needs to understand what the compensation plan is. He was the one who said if WorldLink changed to a binary compensation plan, how would WorldLink grow? We changed our compensation commission to a hybrid binary plan.

We indeed have a cycling bonus and it is one of six different ways people can earn money in the company. As it pertains to the cycling bonus, when you get 100 Business Volume on one side and 200 Business Volume on the other side, you earn $20.

Mr. Kilgour doesn’t even know how much we make per phone service each month. WorldLink does not earn $30 per month, and I wish that were the case. As with any business, I want to make a fair profit. I also believe that WorldLink’s compensation plan is an excellent plan.

KK: LMFAO It gets better!

RG: This kind of abbreviation clearly shows the current character of the Kilgours. If he is trying to convince anybody to believe him, then why does he have to resort to a childish acronym?

KK: You can pay $30 each month for an auto repair savings of 15 – 25% through WeCare Advantage through WorldLink Team while the sa,e service is $8.88 monthly directly through WeCare Advantage and free through many employers and discount programs just as telecom is which is their other “amazing” “product” that is a non product reminiscent of WUN which I’m Kirby Cochran’s own words was nothing but a money game.

RG: The Kilgours are again grasping at straws here. They don’t let you know that a part of WorldLink WeCare, the company, includes roadside assistance and other things which is different than the WeCare product that is old for that price, as we include roadside assistance.

We have had this for several months, and he didn’t say a thing. He doesn’t tell you the retail price for this product is lower than this. Furthermore, Mr. Cochran adamantly denies saying such a thing.

It is no wonder Mr. Kilgour will stoop to saying such things because I can prove what I am saying, but he can’t.

If Mr. Cochran was such a dubious character, why did the Kilgours ask him time in and time again to be a business employer reference for Mrs. Kilgour? Why did he feel comfortable asking for money for their son as of the middle of July? Why would he want to be in business with Mr. Cochran in late August 2024? The list goes on…

RG: To respond to Mr. and Mrs. Kilgour’s slanderous post, what can you expect from people who say they would pay for their stock and never did and think they deserve it?

What can you expect from people who use vulgar and scurrilous behavior? What can you expect from people soliciting and receiving money from Mr. Cochran and then telling other people that Mr. Cochran is a fraud? What can you expect from someone who calls himself the CEO of WorldLink and then joins another network marketing company and doesn’t even let me know?

What can you expect from people who want Mr. Cochran to start another sales company with us selling an illegal and fraudulent internet television streaming service?

What can you expect from people who are removed from the WorldLink Messenger group when they is using it to recruit people into their other questionable and potentially illegal business schemes?

To quote William Shakespeare: “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”

Review away, Mr. Oz. We are and have always been aboveboard, ethical and compliant. Mr. Cochran and I make it a specific point whenever we are considering and reviewing anything new we might bring to the table that we remain compliant to any and all rules and regulations of the FTC.

Now that the other side has been presented, and I know that I can substantiate and prove what I have rebutted, anyone continuing to publish, convey, and participate in any other perpetuation of these false claims, will be held legally liable for their actions.
