Riway Review: Purtier Placenta sounds gross… and costs a lot.
Riway operate in the nutritional supplement MLM niche and are based out of Singapore.
Riway is primarily marketed in Asia and claims to have offices in Singapore (global HQ), Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines, Taiwan and Japan.
Heading up Riway is CEO Lim Boon Hong (right).
Rather than provide information about Hong’s corporate background and MLM experience, Hong’s Riway corporate bio is instead full of generic self-flattery.
With his keen business acumen and excellent management abilities, he continuously seeks to improve and insists on leading by example to establish Riway’s market leadership with a determined conviction as he sets his eyes on the global stage, so that everyone could have the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life of freedom.
My own research reveals Hong launched Riway in 2008. Prior to that he was purportedly a Nu Skin affiliate .
The founder Dr Lim Boon Hong and his entourage (Claudia Ong and others) were mlm salespeople from Nuksin [sic], before this Enyouth, before Enyouth DW Group, before DW was Asayo.
They excel in pseudoscience health products such as biomagnetic products (matresses, bed pads) and such.
Plenty of youth people were taken in and cheated of their monies when they were in operation.
Their loved ones and families were not spared either as the target segment was naturally the new joiners in the MLM and their immediate family nexus.
This might explain why Hong’s corporate bio reads more like a grad student trying to impress on their first interview.
Update 24th June 2021 – The above quote is from a Lowyat forum thread on Riiway.

Riway Products
Riway market Purtier Placenta and Conscientious.
If you’re on the Riway website and click for more information on Purtier Placenta, you’re presented with a YouTube video full of marketing clichés;
– a perfectly bespoke masterpiece
– exceeding medical science’s mission
– uniquely combining exquisite artistry
– an innovative breakthrough in evolution
– a revolution in health supplements
Seriously, that’s what Riway offers up instead of actual information about their Purtier Placenta product.
To actually find out what Purtier Placenta is I had to head over to Amazon.
According to a listing by “Purtier”, Purtier Placenta is a capsule-based deer placenta supplement made in New Zealand.
Known as the “Rolls-Royce of health supplements”, PURTIER Placenta contains 10 precious ingredients which have been made into a top quality product to keep your body healthy and energetic!
The capsule is a breakthrough of current technology limitation, containing 10,000 mg of Deer Placenta, and is made up of a 50:1 high concentration ratio.
Purtier Placenta is marketed as “anti-aging live-cell therapy”.
Fortunately the Conscientious section of the Riway works as you’d expect.
Riway describe Conscientious as an “elusive elixir for the skin”.
Through years of extensive research and development, we have perfected the most exclusive and ultimate luxurious essence spray.
Each drop of CONSCIENTIOUS Essence is infused with potent high concentrations of the finest, purest and most botanical ingredients, directly from nature’s best onto the skin.
The ingredients work together synergistically to provide instant and revolutionary results which transforms the look of the skin.
No retail pricing is provided for either of Riway’s products.
We can however get some idea of costs through Riway’s affiliate packages.
The Silver Package costs $375.68 and comes with one bottle of Purtier Placenta.
One can safely assume the retail cost of Purtier Placenta is close to or more expensive than the Silver Package.
Note that I haven’t been able to confirm whether Purtier Placenta can be sold at a retail level through Riway’s MLM opportunity.
The Riway Compensation Plan
Riway do not provide a copy of their compensation plan on their website.
The following is analysis of their Philippines compensation plan, which contains a mixture of SGD and USD.
I’ve marked SGD when used, the other amounts are USD.
1 PV – commission $0.90 SGD, product purchase $1 SGD.
Recruitment Commissions
Riway affiliates are paid to recruit new affiliates.
How much of a recruitment commission is paid out is determined by
- how much a newly recruited affiliate spends when they sign up and
- how much the recruiting affiliate spent on their own signup package.
Silver Riway affiliates receive $26.97 for recruiting a Silver affiliate, $53.97 for a Gold, $101.87 for a Platinum and $175.36 for a Diamond.
Gold affiliates receive $30.36 for recruiting a Silver affiliate, $60.72 for a Gold, $114.60 for a Platinum and $197.28 for a Diamond.
Platinum affiliates receive $33.73 for recruiting a Silver affiliate, $67.46 for a Gold, $127.33 for a Platinum and $219.20 for a Diamond.
Diamond affiliates receive $33.73 for recruiting a Silver affiliate, $67.46 for a Gold, $127.33 for a Platinum and $219.20 for a Diamond.
Residual Commissions
Riway pays residual commissions via a binary compensation structure.
A binary compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a binary team, split into two sides (left and right):
The first level of the binary team houses two positions. The second level of the binary team is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).
Subsequent levels of the binary team are generated as required, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.
Positions in the binary team are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of affiliates. Note there is no limit to how deep a binary team can grow.
At the end of each day Riway tallies up new sales volume on both sides of the binary team.
Affiliates are paid a percentage of generated sales volume, based on which package they signed up with:
- Silver affiliates receive an 8% residual commission rate
- Gold affiliates receive a 9% residual commission rate
- Platinum affiliates receive a 10% residual commission rate
- Diamond affiliates receive a 10% residual commission rate across three binary positions
Matching Bonus
Riway pays a Matching Bonus on residual commissions, paid out down on up to three levels of recruitment (unilevel).
- Silver affiliates receive 10% match on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates)
- Gold affiliates receive a 10% match on levels 1 and 2
- Platinum and Diamond affiliates receive a 10% match on levels 1 to 3
Joining Riway
Riway affiliate membership is tied to the purchase of one of the following packages:
- Silver – $375.68
- Gold – $755.29
- Platinum – $1425.88
- Diamond – $2450.98
The primary difference between the packages is included product and income potential via the Riway compensation plan.
Conclusion
The Riway website does a poor job of convincing me why I need to spend hundreds of dollars a month on a deer placenta supplement.
That might seem strange for an MLM company trying to drive retail sales, which upon examination Riway clearly isn’t.
Let’s start with pricing. Riway’s $375.68 Silver package comes with one bottle of dried placenta and not much else.
A quick Google search for “deer placenta” reveals New Zealand deer placenta pricing per bottle from other brands starts at around $50-$60.
Other than the attached income opportunity, Riway don’t provide any compelling reason to pay over seven times as much for their placenta supplement.
Nor does there appear to be any compelling reason to take the supplement, other than “placenta feeds babies so must be good to take”.
In fact the benefits Riway and their affiliates unofficially tout as a reason to take Purtier Placenta haven’t gone unnoticed by regulators.
As of March 2018, marketing of Riway and Purtier Placenta is banned outright in Dubai.
Citing numerous “unapproved, false and misleading advertisements”, The Phillippine FDA also issued a public health warning against Riway and Purtier Placenta a few months ago.
As for Riway’s Conscientious product… yeah, something you spray on your skin… botanicals… much luxury… alrighty then.
The reason for Riway’s complete lack of retail focus and effort is found in their compensation plan.
When you crunch the raw numbers, Riway’s MLM opportunity is designed to have you sign up and pay hundreds of dollars a month for a bottle of deer placenta. Commissions are paid when you recruit and convince others who do the same.
Without the attached income opportunity I doubt anyone is going to fork out seven to eight times the market rate for the placenta product. Conscientious I have no idea on, seeing as Riway provide little to no specific information and pricing.
When a new Riway affiliate signs up, they are immediately enticed to pay more because commission rates are higher. And if they go for the most expensive Diamond package, Riway rewards them with three binary positions.
This effectively allows a Riway affiliate to earn triplicate on generated binary sales volume.
A legitimate MLM company rewards affiliates based on individual and residual generated sales volume. Rewarding affiliates for spending more when they sign up is “pay to play” and universally frowned upon by regulators.
It is also the hallmark of an MLM pyramid scheme, which without significant retail activity Riway falls foul on.
If you’re interested in deer placenta despite the lack of scientific and medical evidence regarding purported benefits, there are plenty of much cheaper alternatives around.
The only thing that differentiates Riway from these offerings is the questionable income opportunity.
And coming in at a few hundred dollars a month in expenditure, it should be obvious that most Riway affiliates aren’t going to recoup their losses.
Update 15th August 2021 – Riway has been prosecuted and convicted in Singapore over misleading and false health claims related to Purtier.
A reporter for the British newspaper website The Mirror attended a London seminar for Riway where its affiliates made outrageous claims about the health giving properties of Purtier Placenta.
Amongst other things, apparently these tablets cure cancer, depression, arthritis, diabetes and psoriasis.

Thanks for the heads up. Alexa shows a decline so I’m guessing recruitment in Asia has dried up.
Riway’s western expansion is going to have issues if the only way to sell overpriced deer placenta is with bogus medical claims.
Anyway is there any other trusted source than phlilipne fda which show that Purtier Placenta from Riway is does not cure cancer and other critical diseases?
If I can simplyfy this product is fake as they claim because the price is too high if comparing with other product as you mention above. and the deer placenta from new zealand just claim it for skin healthy (not to cure cancer and crtitical deseases). Am I right?
Thanks in advance.
Instead of asking for proof of a double negative, ask why there’s no third-party verification that Purtier Placenta cures anything.
1. Well … 1 health supplement sold in 8 countries for the last 10 years… well maybe all these fools in these 8 countries are real suckers to be fooled for 10 years or maybe just maybe there’s some genuinity in this Purtier Placenta…
2. Well of cos there is many similar products in the market… Are you able to get an Apple look alike phone in China for a fraction of the cost? Of cos you can… So please compare apples to apples and for that matter…. STFU
3. Dubai? If you are even exposed to the way the company has done their businesses you will be laughing at the report published in Dubai regarding the claim that Purtier cures anything…
Because it was the salesman tryingbto pitch the sales exaggeratting the situation here… look at the brochure for crying out loud… it states that Purtier is notna medication and it does not seek to address any illnesses…. what Riway has is thousands of individuals sharingbtheir ownntestimonies after consumption of Purtier…
4. Before you keyboard warriors attempt to defame just for the sake getting yourself that seconds of orgasm… I challenge you to get the facts right….
Yep.
Comparing the same placenta supplements out of New Zealand with Purtier, also from New Zealand, is an apples to apples comparison.
Asia is notorious for this kind of garbage. If medical claims are being made in Dubai they’re for sure being made elsewhere in Asia.
Before you run around issuing silly challenges, probably best to make sure your own facts are in order. Making excuses for overpriced placebo supps != facts.
If a product can run 8 country for 11 years, and so many people takes this product but it still growing, u have to be serious about this product.
Because if there is any single problem from this product, long long time ago this company was already gone.
Million of people taking this product, so u think all these million people are fools?
How long a product is for sale for is not a substitute for documented evidence of medical claims.
“But we haven’t been shut down yet!” is not the equivalent of regulatory clearance.
Please don’t make bullshit marketing claims you can’t verify. It only makes you and Riway look like amateur hour morons.
The philippines also advises people not to use it
I hope its ok to post this link for the philippines FDA, the public health organization.
It is, but it’s better to have actually read the entire review.
We covered the Philippine warning in our conclusion.
I was told about this product last year by someone who has been using it for over two years now. He has seen great results which is also evident to us.
He swears by purtier Placenta and how it has done wonders for him. At 70 years of age, he looks much younger and says that he feels more energetic than before.
He also revealed that a friend of his who has also benefited from it recommended it to him. In all he now knows about 10 people taking it and all of them happy with it.
He has given me two bottles to try. I have a good feeling about this – so am going to try it out and will let you know.
So old guy says he feels great and you blindly attribute that to Purtier placenta powder?
By all means provide peer reviewed medical studies of Purtier but otherwise you’re just providing meaningless anecdotal evidence.
Why is your attitude very insulting, you don’t sound like a person interested in helping others with good information but rather being rude.
(Ozedit: derail and conspiracy theory removed)
So that’s a no on the medical studies then?
Best of luck with the anecdotal scamming.
Im a disributor of this product. We have testimonies and lab results even pet scans that prove previous malignancies and metastases are gone after taking the product. People are not fools. (Ozedit: Snip, see below.)
Precisely why nobody will take your claims at face value. Proof please.
And also if Purtier cures cancerous growths, why isn’t every hospital on the planet using it?
This medicine really helped cancer patients in PNG it’s multi purpose for all sickness.
Prove it?
“But my upline told me…” or “look at these photos of some random people on hospital beds” is not a substitute for peer-reviewed medical studies.
If deer placenta cured cancer it’d be in every hospital on the planet.
And they sure as hell wouldn’t be using Aunt Sally and her downline bingo ladies, hairdresser, and second cousin to distribute it.
so if all hospital on the planet using this product we dont need doctor anymore right so what’s is the point to study to be a doctor if all hospital can use this product? so u can’t say like that bro.
Right. Because hospitals only treat cancer patients…
The missed point was that if Purtier was being used in hospitals, it’d have been put through tests and actually had its claimed benefits proven.
Instead all we have is participants in an income opportunity running around the internet making all manner of unsubstantiated medical claims.
I stopped my diabetes meds and insulin weeks before i started taking purtier. 3 weeks after taking purtier my blood sugar is down from 18 to 9 without other medical intervention or change on my diet.
My premenstrual and menstrual pains are also gone. Not to mention aches on my hips up to my upper back.
I recently sold 15 sets of the product. 9 of the 15 are repeat users. There is something to this product.
Yet there isn’t a single peer-reviewed study supporting your anecdotal claims.
I took Purtier and within 5 mins was cured of my quadriplegic paralysis. See how easy it is?
Sure is – the attached income opportunity. Purtier itself is overpriced and has no verifiable medical benefits.
There’s very good reasons sensible diabetics consult an endocrinologist and not multi level marketers before stopping their medication or swapping to an unproven product
Those reasons include damage to large and small blood vessels, which can lead to heart attack and stroke, and problems with the kidneys, eyes, feet and nerves.
IOW, you are a bloody idiot.
I started using dehydrated racoon excrement in a powder form and after using this every morning for a month, my skin is wrinkle free!
The down side is it tastes like crap!
just looking for bad comments here that proves riway is indeed a scam and full of claims that are lies, but all I can see is that testimonials do insist that riway product is good.
I would be more convinced if the host uses the product and testifies that everything that riway product users testimonies are all lies, and surely to be honest to oneself, because money does not have its worth when talking about cures. Yes Indeed supplements might be expensive and hospitalization are so.
on the other hand, I know doctors in the philippines who offers a new drug to patients even when they dont know what drug it is, and harmful side effects, (dengvaxia is one)for med reps offer just for an exchange for a trip to foreign countries, a one night stand, etc.. for others who does not know about this, I mean not all doctors are like that.
if riway product can indeed cure patients, I guess it cannot be offered by doctors or hospitals, because it takes a lot of years to study being a doctor and by just an instant, a supplement comes, we have to consider the business world, and that is reality.
A philippine doctor once said, “yes we are all doctors but we didnt graduate with the same degree” confident and courageous enough stand and say about the bad things being offered by med reps. with other doctors listening.
the fact that doctors does not discourage us to take supplements, we just need to find the trusted ones and not just false claims.
hope haters dont hate the product for its expensive prices, but rather weigh it with quality and truthfulness, yes people heals by their mind, maybe faith, but remember God gave every herbs to be our food and medicine as written in genesis.
please help prove what is really a scam and not a scam, or its just the greedy members who are scammers and not the product it self. Thank you for this page.
Testimonials from people participating in an attached income opportunity is not a substitute for peer-reviewed medical studies.
There’s a reason regulators don’t just take owners of medicine/drugs at face value when it comes to medical claims.
My testimony would be as useless as a Riway affiliate’s. Anecdotal stories that contain unverified medical claims = worthless.
This sentence makes no sense. If you have to resort to conspiracy theories to explain away there being no Purtier peer-reviewed medical studies, you’ve already lost.
Why would you say its useless, when you have not tried it yet? not offense, but what you are actually saying right now is an anecdotal story too, with no proof.
Would you rather testify to those people who claims they where cured, find there records, interview them and prove they where unverified?
Or you where just saying and doing the same as he affiliate’s do? proving and unproving is just the same case.
Guess Its actually not the cured person poses videos and testimonies, its the ones who offered it to them.
Conspiracy theories are (Ozedit: irrelevant. Offtopic big pharma conspiracy theories removed)
I’m not against to any of these its just us reviewers looking for a better supplement rather than a drug, and some website are pro, some are haters, but there must be a convincing truth or reasons why people make sites and blogs like this, and not just to brag.
Because anecdotal stories containing medical claims are in fact useless. They are not based on documented evidence, which you need unless you’re trying to bullshit people into buying something.
Nope. Couldn’t give a shit. The onus is on Riway and its affiliates to provide peer-reviewed studies backing up any medical claims they make.
What are you talking about? It is a fact that Riway nor its affiliates provide evidence of peer-reviewed medical studies to back up any medical claims made.
That’s proof in and of itself that any medical claims made in relation to Purtier are anecdotal bullshit.
I’ve provided facts. Couldn’t give a toss about pro/hater marketing rhetoric.
And if you want a motive as to why people make up medical claims to push a product, look no further than Riway’s compensation plan.
You said your testimonies would be as “useless” as Riway affiliate’s. that what Im referring. Anyway hope truth will be revealed, God Bless.
Yeah sorry, misread. See above (comment #29).
Singapore authrity had launched an investigation on riway singapore. And riway was warned not to provide any claims of cancer cured.
Obviously this page is useless as it aims to sabotage other people business as clearly shown in the article and comments above.
Pls show up your so called evidence that you claimed Purtier doesn’t has any medical benefits. There is always hater (Ozedit: derails removed)
The onus is on the party making a claim to provide evidence to prove it.
Thank you for yet again confirming there is no evidence to back up any Purtier related medical claims.
Talk so much shit for what. One can choose to believe it & pop one capsule inside the throat to experience it.
The other who care shit about the products just need to keep his fucking mouth shut.
Life is simple. So live simply.
This is terrible medical advice. Seriously?
The only “shit” being talked here are by Riway scammers making fraudulent and unsubstantiated medical claims about Purtier.
Wow, riway people are too much. I’ve joined their seminar once and my friend and her family, unfortunately, sadly are drawn into the organization.
You know what, at the seminar, all their claims is that you can have lots of money, they focus on money-making rather than the composition of purtier. They don’t even talk about purtier certification, etc.
I don’t say the deer placenta has no effect, I would say that deer placenta is good to eat, but why purtier? there’re thousand of brand that sells this deer placenta, much cheeper than purtier.
Just accept it, purtier is just a media for money-game, this is the fact, and the victims is you and your family whose greed to sell these things, they’re some who succeed because he/she can sell the product, but what about others?
How about the probability to those who can’t sell the products? They still haven’t been able to get their money back.
This purtier product claim to help people but they charged at really high price, it’s a pure money game without sincerity.
I’m a man with of lot of worries to my family’s health.
First my mom is so sick lumbar 4 and lumbar 5. I don’t know how medical term explained it. But to make short. she can’t walk that long after the operation.
The current on her lower parts is not functioning. She said I’m going to be in wheelchair by the year of 2020 as the surgeon told her after the operation last 2017.
So after that year she started to experience what the surgeon told her. We are so worried. In the night we couldn’t sleep that much the reason is my mom can’t sleep. She so angry too fast. She likes to yell on us for small things.
I believed that she going it because of her body not functioning properly. cant sleep at night time. Just two hours every night of sleep.
Her lower parts numb. No feeling she said. My sister was so worried so she likes to talk to any person that has an ability in medical.
Until one day she stumbled on her cousin in law house. Fortunately the is cousin in law is married to a surgeon.
To make the story short my sister talked to the surgeon and she tells all my mom’s behavior with her sickness. But the surgeon just quiet. Listen in to her. And my sister was a little annoyed in her heart.
This Doctor not speaking, I told him every thing but he never uttered a word. He just stared at me and listening.
By the time my sister stopped the doctor started to speak. You know what he offered. You try Purtier Placenta it’s a stem cell. But the price is too high.
My sister says how much? So the surgeon gave her the details about the product and the price.
At first she is so skeptical. But afterwards she purchase a bottle. It takes only a few days and my mom have a great experience on the supplement.
Now she walked without a cane. Just a period of a month she is better. now she is taking it for three months. And all of us can sleep well in the house.
we got peace in our hearts. If anyone of you have a doubt. Contact me, (Ozedit: recruitment scam removed)
Oh fuck off. This is beyond abhorrent.
Making up stories about your mother’s health and doctors shilling deer placenta to sell a business opportunity. Shame on you.
Because you don’t want to admit that this product works. So Bless you heart with your word.
I hope I see you on the street with your real name and face as I put my name in your commentary.
Feel free to provide peer-reviewed studies confirming Purtier has any medical benefits.
Failing which, best of luck with the scamming.
Post #37 speaks to the crux of the issue:
“You know what, at the seminar, all their claims is that you can have lots of money, they focus on money-making rather than the composition of purtier. They don’t even talk about purtier certification, etc.”
The products are a red herring (to non-English speakers, a distraction) intended to move focus to the viability of the product rather than address the huge elephant in the room which is the compensation plan. This is product-based pyramid scheme 101. Every “fan” here defending this product have spent a lot of time typing up posts describing the health benefits of these products, and zero time proclaiming (and providing evidence supporting) that the compensation plan is NOT a pyramid-scheme plan.
And that’s exactly what the company wants you to do.
Health Science Authority (HSA) Singapore warns about Riway products:
mustsharenews.com/riway-health-supplement/
straitstimes.com/singapore/hsa-warns-riway-to-stop-false-claims
I was invited by my neighbor up stairs of my apartment block to take a look at the miracle product in a business opportunity seminar.
We sent there together, and I saw a lot of members who are mostly aunties and uncles, some taitais (Singapore terms for rich women) and many existing members of Riway wearing their suits looking like they are so hungry to chew on someone who is not a member as yet.
I don’t seem to see youngsters (like fresh out of school kind) totally not connected to Riway joining the organisation as a “career”? Is this telling of something?
For me, although my neighbor told me that many of his close relatives are bought into this scheme, claiming that it cures them of their many illnesses, my research suggests that this pill may not necessarily be what it claims to be.
For those that say was invited to company events but no details of Purtier……
That was company evernts and had never been the place or time to share about Purtier.
U might like to email me for (Ozedit: spam removed)
If you’re pitching an MLM company and not even mentioning the products, it’s a pyramid scheme. No excuses.
So most important is Purtier a Scam pls? Anyone?
Read the review pls. Herp derp.
Riway already 11 year and there is so many testimonal to prove it works.
Ii consume this product for 4 year already and i have see result on me.mlm anot, money game anot.its not impt anymore.this product really works..
If people like me can afford it, give a try.. if not u can find a cheaper alternative.
Now my dad and mother also consume purtier daily. I hope a simply message can clear cut everyone..
Testimonials don’t prove anything.
E.g. Here’s a testimony I totally didn’t just put together on the fly for this comment:
My testimony above doesn’t actually prove anything.
If Riiway wanted to prove Purtier had any medical benefit, they’ve had, and I quote, eleven years to file the appropriate paper work.
They haven’t. All we have is people running around the internet making all sorts of unverifiable claims.
That says a lot about the credibility of both Riiway and Purtier.
I have taken this product and yes if helps a lot to my body… before i dont also believe to what they are claiming about this product but at the time i try 1 bottles then everything change i started to realize everything they say about this product is true…
then i offer my other 4 bottles to my father who have diabetes a dyieng person who have 400 plus sugar count and sometimes cannot be read by tools.. loose to much body weigh after taking the product for 1 month my dad is totally cured and just like before he started to drink again like what he used to…
drink a lot of beers like there is no tommorrow and that is one of my testimony..
My second testimony is my aunte when she saw my dad is totally cured she went back home from washington DC to philippines and try to buy 1 set of it and she start drinking it…
my aunte health history is depression ,insomia varicos beins , after taking the product 3 months after all those diseases are gone …and she talks a lot about this product and sharing the product to close friends…
i have 3rd and forth testimony…actually i have many testimony i saw with my own eyes…this product do a lot to our body…and im fully convinced because i have try it…
to those who made negative comments why dont you try before say anything else…
Unfortunately your testimony means dick without peer-reviewed medical studies to back it up.
Because neither you or any other Riway “omg I’m cured” shill can provide evidence to back up your illegal medical claims.
But a study shows that it doesn’t contain “live stem cell” at all.
What study was that?
Have you tried it yourself? if you haven’t yet, then you definitely can’t speak for others who have and testify that it works.
You see, only those who have experienced it has the right to justifiably judge the product.
You talk too much when you can’t even contribute something else that would help people get better. If not Purtier, what then?
If there are other products like this, then mankind will be blessed even more. Save your 2-cents.
People like you can’t persuade those who have tried and know the truth.
I don’t need to shove a cactus up my arse to know it’s a bad idea.
Fun fact: Shoving a cactus up your arse has as much documented medical benefits as taking Purtier placenta.
Without peer-reviewed medical studies, your “feels” experiences are worthless. Not to mention entirely illegal.
If not Purtier, how about going to a fucking doctor and getting an actual diagnosis and treatment? Jesus Christ, the stupid in this one.
I wonder about the logistics of gathering all those deer placentas. Do they have teams of people scouring the woods of New Zealand at the right time of year, picking up placentas right after the deer mothers have given birth, before all the other animals that no doubt immediately start eating away at them can dispose of them?
Or do they have placenta farms, where they breed deer only to kill the offspring, since it’s just the placentas they’re after?
Or perhaps they kill the pregnant deer before they give birth, to get nice fresh placentas.
It’s also strange that the stuff comes from New Zealand, which one could call the least placental place in the world: all placental mammals there, including deer, and humans, are recent introductions. There was nothing there for settlers to shoot at for fun, so they brought in deer from England.
There are often campaigns to try and control harmful introduced species, using poison, and although those don’t directly target deer, mass poisonings of deer sometimes result. So god knows what the animal whose placenta you’re consuming may have been ingesting just before it died.
That’s assuming there are actual bits of deer placenta in the product. I wonder if there is any proof of this.
The views are always different those who had trial and tested the product celebrates and with the partners who have found the goodness and business opportunities of their lifetime.
Those who didn’t try due to their different mindset or cannot afford the product will continue to be in their own world believing the scene of the medical science…. (there are also many behind the scenes but again most will find it hard to believe).
Again it’s up to the individuals the believer who found success we should truly applaud them because from a pretty tidy small amount they spent they regain health and achieve wealth …. u can’t really start a business anyway with such a small amount less to say to even own a product in your hands.
Views don’t matter. Peer-reviewed medical studies matter.
Whether you’ve used or not used placebo products with no verified medical benefits is neither here nor there.
You know where you can shove your conspiracy theories too.
You all do the talk. try just two bottles, you need to had the experience not just all the theory.
So we’ve gone from illegal medical claims to selling “an experience” have we?
If you want to prove Purtier’s benefits aren’t just baseless theory, stump up the medical studies as proof.
Riway has had years to commission them, yet they haven’t. Says it all.
I am a US athlete that was given a 3 month supply of the pills to try at no cost.
If the pills cleared up 2 minor health issues in the test period, I would become a spokesperson for Riway, or at minimum for the distributor who contacted me.
The pills have now run their course and I have noticed no effect whatsoever, good or bad, in my physical condition nor any change at all in my 2 minor health issues the pills were supposed to cure.
In summary, placebo effect at best, complete scam at worst. Apparently I’m the only one who hasn’t experienced miraculous results, though. Perhaps I’m the odd man out.
No offense but as a US athlete what are you doing taking pills that aren’t approved by the FDA?
For your own sake don’t take any more supplements if the manufacturers can’t provide you basic medical information.
You’re a “US Athlete”. Of course you are. If you were everything you put into your body would be completely monitored.
You’d be allowed to take something you can’t or don’t know the content of and then have the urine tests potentially embarrassing your country and sponsors?
I don’t think so. I think you’re more likely a complete liar.
I am a diabetic patient. Almost died from ketoacidosis and was put on insulin for life. 4 jabs a day. After 2 months i was introduced to this by a friend.
I wouldnt say cure, but my sugar level is controlled without insulin jabs or medication. I have all the prove you want and i dont mind meeting you to show you everything.
Its a product that includes a business opportunity which is why it may be a little pricey. And it has known to help people when even doctors are limited.
Its about health and wealth. Its even better than insurance.
Believe it or not i too was skeptical about mlm but at the age of 28 and need insulin for life changed my thinking. Im willing to try if it can help me and it did.
Why not you find me a friend or relative of yours that have diabetes i am fine to give 2 bottles away. Check their blood sugar and all.
This way you can also justify that the millions of people are fools to buy this product. If not you are making yourself look like one and thinks that its too good to be true but you havent seen enough of the world my friend.
Stem cell therapy is being researched and even used in so many ways. Umbellical cord blood, bone marrow and even plastic surgery etc.
And to answer the question about people unable to sell and earn back their money. The company have alot of training and guidance to help. We have people that will even do the presentation and sales pitch for you.
Lastly you obviously gonna have a negative reply. Save it. Use that energy to find prove that we are all fools.
But in the case where you actually start to believe the product, i will welcome you with open arms and teach you how to sell this and help more people that are struggling in both health and wealth. It’ll be rewarding. Thanks.
Cool, feel free to provide peer-reviewed studies showing Purtier Placenta has any effect on diabetes at all.
Again, peer-reviewed medical studies pertaining to Purtier please.
Not until you produce just one peer-reviewed medical study showing Purtier placenta has any effect on diabetes.
Not worth the time. The scam that is Riway is laid out here. Waiting on those medical studies…
No one has mentioned the company Riway funds zero in R&D to come up with this magic product?
So really, if Riway’s product is so good through all of it generations (6th now) then they ought to be spending a portion of their revenue in development, no?
Now, what about Alpha Labs in NZ that manufacture for them? Fun facts::
– Alpha Labs is owned by China folks and they import raw ingredients from China (huge warning). They just want to leech on the “New Zealand” branding that Asians suck dicks for
– Riway claims to have ~$5 billion USD in revenue in 2019 while Alpha netted ~$9 million (including customers other than Riway). This means Riway’s gross profit on the product is huge but yet, none spent on R&D.
– There are way over 70,000 Riway sellers (am not sure what to label these people since they aren’t employees technically.
Maybe call them members?) and if you do a little math, taking their claim of 60% of revenue goes to the members (~$3 B) and with all these members claiming to be making 100k per month, you’d be able to see the odds of any given individual making back your entry fee.
– BTW, their CEO supposedly only takes 5% of revenue as compensation because he is doing it as goodwill to help people.
35% of the revenue gets spent on seminars / training / banquets and also being highly advertised – free group trips which supposedly uncle and aunties would suck dicks for (those tinseled pictures you guys see on their site with people wearing ill fitting black or white suits with couple of nice looking ladies – advertisement purpose- mixef into bunch of ladies in tbeir 40-50s with their minds busy trying to figure out how to break even their “investment”).
It’s deer placenta. What are they going to R&D?
The money would be better spent conducting clinical trials to work towards regulatory approval. But seeing as Purtier is a placebo that’s not gonna happen.
I cannot read the name “Purtier” without hearing Slim Pickens’s voice in my head.
See, in the American South, the word “prettier” is often pronounced “purtier” (PURR-tee-ur). It’s just a regional accent.
In the Mel Brooks movie “Blazing Saddles,” Slim Pickens’s character (Taggart) reacts to some purple prose from Harvey Korman’s character (Hedley Lamarr) by saying, in Pickens’s authentic drawl:
“Oh, Sir, you use yer tongue purtier than a twenty-dollar whore.”
Now that you’ve read this, he’s in all of your heads, too. You’re welcome.
Just passing by. My Wife has TAH-BSO two months ago and her CA125 is 150, and doctor said she need to under go chemotherapy due to Stage 4 cancer findings.
Months after that we cannot decide to under go chemo and a month of Sadness and Depression, and a friend suggested this Purtier 6th edition.
In just one month CA 125 test is 13.02. Still happy for the result but dont know if this has side effect or what so ever, anyone has idea.
We went back to our doctor and show a result. He let as sign a weaver that he will be liable for what so ever.
Now my wife stop taking it for one week. Need your advise, email me thnaks.
Here’s my advice: Stop being a twat and get your wife the medical care she needs.
If you want a second opinion, you should seek it from an oncologist, not from Internet strangers. And certainly not from quacks who think deer placenta will cure your wife.
I think you mis-heard or misquoted your doctor. He *made* you sign a waiver that he will *not* be liable for whatever happens if you refuse to take his advice.
Take his advice; that’s what you’ll hear if you consult with another oncologist.
Stage 4 means the cancer is now widespread in her body. Chemo is her best chance to survive. Her chance will be pretty much zero on those silly overpriced pills.
i tried it. NO effect. expensive.
Recently there’s a new platform name P2M register under riway company and they said this a new marketing plan… once you join and paid you will get few of riway product.
may i know is this a scam? they say will make me rich if i trust them and follow their instruction … but at the end still MLM scheme. it’s happened in SG,MY
P2M is being advertised as an investment service on social media.
There’s nothing about P2M on Riway’s company website though.
Anyone know about P2M this company ? By using and promote the Riway product ..can report them ?
Haven’t really looked into P2M. Has it taken off?
Riiway was going nowhere for most of 2019.
Their loved ones and families were not spared either as the target segment was naturally the new joiners in the MLM and their immediate family nexus.”
I was the one that wrote the above and the author of this site saved this prior to what I was warning people about being taken off the internet. I can only surmise as to why that was so.
Please all. Do not be taken in by Riway or Purtier. I know the originator of the businessman and he is a …. businessman.
Riway flies under the radar now and was told off by countries by claiming anti-cancer efficacy. Its manufacturing base has moved to the Philippines. Sourcing of placenta is not New Zealand.
Hello~~
I’m a Korean man, it’s been 2 or 3 years since my girlfriend took the Liway Putty Placenta. Thank you for your help. I learned through it, but if I think about it at the time, tears come out.
There are some difficulties while ordering and overtaking. I arrive in Korea for 10-20 days via eBay/DHL.
So I request a message on the homepage.
The Republic of Korea is required to be certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and approved by the agency. It is said that the Korean agency will take the food with permission. However, the agency does not seem to have knowledge of deer placenta and oil ingredients, so please ask for help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Your message will be waiting, thank you.
If I’m understanding correctly, Korean authorities seized your Purtier because it’s not approved?
Riway won’t give a stuff, they already have your money. Sounds like you’re better off sourcing locally.
This scheme is for the greedy and low mentality people with no conscious, who are eager to make money from the sick and dying.. simple as that.. they do not understand the law of Karma, and now they are being scammed by someone, who they themselves are victim..
This vicious cycle will goes on and on.. they are all in it together, blinded by false hopes and dreams… scamming each other’s blindly, greedily and losing many friends and trusted love ones because of a sin called GREED.
(Useless to dissuade these individuals as they are ignorant and choose to believe in Greed rather then Compassion and Understanding)
Based on all that I have read I believe experience is always the best teacher so Im willing to try the product if someone is willing to give me the initial 2 bottles to start with and come to an honest agreement to pay for it if it truly works.
I will take a throughout medical checkup before I start and another when I’m done after it.
I will surely pay you if it really works and I will bring my testimonials right on this platform and I will also help you to market your products.
Honestly speaking but I will like to know the prices first because all that i am hearing on the platform is that “It’s expensive and no one is saying how much it costs.
I’ll save you some time and money then:
There is currently no medical studies documenting any positive medical experiences when it comes to Purtier.
You’re welcome.
Im from indonesian, just wanna tell the purtier price in indonesia is 5.000.000 idr/bottle (312 us dollar i think?).
And as for conscientious, 2.500.000 idr/bottle (156 us dollar i think).
And to clear things up, i sometimes went to riway seminar and so u all dont get it wrong again, purtier IS NOT a medicine, it is a FOOD SUPPLEMENT that are use to support some person medical problem. Thats why there is no medical paper work i think.
Medicines are used to treat/support medical problems. There are no peer-reviewed medical studies proving Purtier has any effect on any medical problems.
And what does that even mean? “Support” medical problem?
is that like saying “drinking coconut water supports your life”?
There is no proof it actually does anything. If there is, they would have shown you. Instead, they only “suggest” it MAY do something.
Chill bro, i just answering a question and telling the truth, no one ask u to buy the product. If u don’t believe it then just don’t buy it. Simple right, why u must made a problem of every single positive information of the product that people give.
And as i am saying, purtier is a food supplement. (Ozedit: derails removed)
The only truth that’s relevant here is
It’s not a matter of belief, it’s fact.
If you choose not to believe in facts, awesome. They’re still facts.
Anecdotal stories are not a substitute for peer-reviewed medical studies and/or facts.
My wife had a visit from the Purtier recruits today (in Indonesia). I’ve read the review above and all the comments, and the sales technique is as described.
Lots of testimonials of unbelieving husbands being cured of heart problems after reluctantly trying the product (and so on), but no evidence provided (or asked for – I would have asked for it).
The claim often made above that the company has been operating for over 10 years and if it didn’t have any results people wouldn’t buy it (but, still, no actual proof).
Then onto the list of health claims (not even attempting to disguise the product as a food supplement), anti-ageing, cures heart problems, spinal pain (which I have, and is the reason a friend of my wife had these people sent around), diabetes, you name it – but, now, of course, add cures covid-19.
You say that such claims are illegal, and I’m sure they are, but who cares about legality in Indonesia – the important thing is “is the product halal”?
The answer was yes, of course, but no certification produced. And the cost: Rp. 35 million for 7 bottles!!! (that’s about $US2,400).
Deer pplacenta can be purchased online for around $US 30 – and the Purtier people mentioned this, but said that it was an inferior product which didn’t have the results of their product (again, no evidence provided).
Luckily, our son was listening in, and forbade his mother to buy – otherwise she might have, Indonesians are very gullible when it comes to health cures.
Good on your son for looking out for mum!
The only question that I have in my mind is why is that they decided to make it a multi level marketing business if it is really a good product?
They always say that they want to help but i think they are not. Like, why just sell it in a fair price?
Too expensive just like making us all bullshit. We’re not dumb.
This really a big help for me. Thanks to the author of this blog and also to all the commentors.
I worked for RIWAY for over a year. I was employed for fixed month salary and they pay good, but that’s the only thing.
I would share more, but I am heavily under NDA, and one never knows what is being tracked. Contact me for a secure talk if you wish.
It is my experience that those who wish to share information do so. Cryptic bullshit = waste of time.
Aight, I started off my writing career in Riway, I am writing scripts for their “seminars”, commercials, even worked on Lim’s speech during 2021 13th anniversary Gala Dinner and Leader appreciation night.
The seminars which are in RIWAY distributed as “education” are nothing but made-up inspirational stories or stories of top 1% people (early adopters, when recruitment was relatively easy) who just spread survivor bias. There is NOT A SINGLE advice how to sell the products.
Leadership seminars are just seminars which tells you how to tell those stories to people you are gonna lead – ehh sorry you are gonna recruit.
Basic strategy is guilt trip “if you are not rich yet then you are not working hard enough, look at my lambo.”
Second practice I noticed is they are acting like Yakuza.
Nay, they do not extort and such stuff. But they truly do spent “a lot” (not a lot in comparison with company income) to help and develop areas where they operate.
They bribing society to allow them to stay. Eg. Recent COVID donation in countries where RIWAY is going to spread or already operating.
I have specifically given instructions to target vulnerable people – example: before xmas when they cannot afford gifts, job seekers where is high chance they are struggling et cetera.
People in south east Asia, their biggest market, are especially targeted, due to their superstitious nature and high poverty while watching all these rich people walking around them.
Cryptic bullshit? So be it, but I like my income, because I do not have any other job yet to just get fired, perhaps even sued.
I have more, but I am no exactly brave person, I need my income and I do not want accidentally expose myself.
Once I get different job, I will go your path and start exposing MLMs with my insider knowledge how these people think and operate.
For now? Cryptic bullshit is all I dare to.
Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and good luck.
So one of my good buddies recently told me about the company without mentioning the name name, just the product.
the moment he mentioned the organisational structure i knew it was an MLM, especially since they’re selling a set of 7 bottles for almost 4k to new recruits, which amounts to 8 dollars a pill with no scientific backing.
no logical sense will show that this is a viable goods sales structure, yet due to the appeal of “success”, it seems that he’s sucked into it as well.
being an ex-MLM “group director” for companies such as VenturEra and Amway, i knew very well this will not end good.
After my own research and finding this page, plus reading the “testimonies” of those defending the product, it has reaffirmed my decision to pull him out one way or the other.
I went to a seminar/meeting recently, just a basic product introduction, real life experience with the product, how to make money and ends with tips on how to improve oneself.
Think some of the comment here mentioned that there is no proof of R&D and yes, everything needs R&D. They showed certificate of approval by Health Science Authority(HSA) of Singapore and some from New Zealand since they sought the placenta from New Zealand deer but it is all blurry.
The effect of all the ingredients might be “true” but I believe it varies from person to person and type of illness. You don’t expect it to “cure” a stage 4 cancer patient do you?
Since the website is “behindmlm”, it does operates like one. The company pays you the commission for securing the sales, aka recruiting a new buyer. But if MLM is not legal in Singapore, then how on earth it has evaded the authority for 13years?
Certificate of approval of what?
Singapore isn’t known for active regulation of pyramid schemes.
They did not mention it is for what. But I believe you have read the articles about it. About how Riway sent the product for testing for some heavy metal and it came out negative.
I believe those certificates are real but not in a way that support the claim of the benefit of it. You know, official certificate to lure people in believing that the product is actually very beneficial and legal.
I did drop an email to Direct Selling Association of Singapore(DSAS) on why Riway is not register under them and I even lodge a police report based on a suspicion of MLM/pyramid.
My friend is trying to get me to buy one set so ya, I wanna get her out of this “business”.
You can contact me privately if you wish.
When was heavy metal ever an issue with Purtier? Might as well have tested for unobtainium.
Singaporean authorities issued Riway with a fraudulent cure claim warning. The Health Science Authority hasn’t approved Purtier for anything. No government has.
You are being too defensive and not really trying to understand and communicate.
straitstimes.com/singapore/hsa-warns-riway-to-stop-false-claims
This is what I am trying to say. Using the lab test as proof and showing it on their presentation which is blurry to ease consumer’s heart on their product safety. It is nothing more than a health supplement.
Just to update, there is only one tier/package in Singapore. SGD3688 for 7 bottles containing 60 pills.
Oz was essentially agreeing with you, so if anyone’s being defensive it’s you.
This appears to be the important bit. Not Riway sending their snake oil to be tested for asbestos so they can get a “Certificate of Not Containing Asbestos (Which Nobody Said It Did)”.
Google “how to help someone in an MLM”. Your friend is in a cult and pointing out that the MLM is talking bullshit won’t help them – it will just make you their enemy.
Helping someone in an MLM is about giving them an escape route, about helping them to ask critical questions themselves.
I covered the Singapore regulatory action here – https://behindmlm.com/companies/riway-issued-purtier-cancer-cure-warning-in-singapore/
We’re agreeing that Riway’s medical claims are bullshit so I’ll leave it there.
most of the commenters here are affiliate of the pyramid scheme riway and bloated 100% the price to give half to commissions.
What you won’t see in this post is how much they lost both in monetary and friendships burned.
Power.
I have taken over 350 pills so far to reduce back pain and feel younger. So far I don’t notice any change.
For once I finally found a site that would defend peer reviewed medical studies.
For years I have been bugged by my bestfriend to try Purtier and that it cures almost all diseases.
My initial reaction was, it is a scam the mere fact that the cost is outrageous. COMMON SENSE will tell you that this is targeting those people who are DESPERATE for cure, start with that, then look at the marketing strategy.
Indeed this is all about business, money making scheme.
If there is a Bernie Madoff of Wall Street, this the version of it in a different angle.
The power of persuading someone to just believe without proof. Marketing plays a significant role here. What is lacking is Critical Thinking with these people who are vulnerable.
Up at this time, my bestfriendd is still convincing me, despite the fact that I have no need of it, I am doing well health wise.
He assumes that eventually I will need it. It is sad because I am at this point questioning what happened to our long decade of friendship.
I understand we all need a source of income, but knowing him, he used to be a level-headed person, believed in facts, his mantra.. yeah prove it..
We still talk but every now and then, Purtier pops in our conversation. And by the way, he said he takes it, I don’t really know. Thank you OZ!
Thanks for the support and sorry to hear about your friend.
I would simply recommend that you attend zoom testimonials or go to YouTube and enter purtier placenta testimonials.
But I agree with you people should follow the science but they should not be slaves of science, if you know what I mean.
And if you have any ounce of determination to find out how you can join the zoom meetings (like the determination you have emphasizing the “negatives”), I will have to say that that’s going to be your problem. Good luck!
Riway is still unable to provide verifiable evidence its Purtier product does anything. And affiliates are making illegal medical claims on Riway webinars on Zoom.
Scumbag company and everyone involved is a grifter. Got it.
I have been taking the Riway Purtier Placenta for 17 days now and I am moving my bowels twice a day, my blood pressure ranges from 118/78 to 108/70.
I showed my medical doctor about the product and she said I can take it as long as I don’t take it together with my blood pressure pill; before my BP ranges from 140/95 to 130/90.
I will be going back to my doctor after 2 months for follow up I guess my BP pill dosages will be lowered hopefully in the future gone because these medications have a lot of side effects!!!
Glad to hear your health is improving but anecdotal stories are not a substitute for peer-reviewed medical studies.
There is no evidence Purtier has any affect on blood pressure.
I am 56 yrs now. in 2018 i was diagnosed with polycythemia vera a blood chronic cancer. I also have post polio syndrome that begins in 2014.
Probably those in the medical fields and who are suffering from the same condition know my challenges. i always have discomforts and pains, i am very weak and always exhausted and have tremors.
I told my doctor about this and an anti-depressant was prescribed of which i declined to take, I’m taking my daily blood maintenance of chemo drug, aspirin, high-blood and cholesterol maintenance.
my sugar level is 120 and already in a pre-diabetic level. I have phlebotomy every 2months. the quality of my life is not good physically and it starting to affect my life.
i feel bloated, there is numbness on my legs and hands every night and inflammation, blurry sight, frequent headache, dizziness, mind fog, lumps on both breast, chest and heavy pains though my blood chem is not at critical, and doctor said no cause for alarm after my 2d echo, chest xray etc. i stay on prescribed diet and mild exercise.
But still i never have a good quality life since 2018. It sucks!
Few months ago, I almost gave up, i have depression because of the weakness and pains, the everyday discomfort is debilitating. My sister gave me Purtier and i took it. What do I have to lose?
After a week, my chest pains disappear, likewise, the tremors, weakness, headaches and all the symptoms started to disappear after a month. I am energetic, no more heavy labor breathing, numbness, bloating today. some will say it is a placebo effect.
Whatever aided in my wellness, I am thankful that I am back to my normal life. whether it is of my daily maintenance combined with Purtier, I have to make the most of my life.
I don’t expect to be cured from cancer but what i want for my remaining life is to have quality by doing my best in work and at home.
My story is just anecdotal for you OZ but for someone who is always in pain, Purtier is helpful.
You are not convinced with the veracity of the claims, but at least have heart for people who are suffering and in pain not to give false hope since you really do not believed but as what Harriet said don’t be rude.
Remain kind, empathic and compassionate.
Harriet Johns:
Why is your attitude very insulting, you don’t sound like a person interested in helping others with good information but rather being rude.
(Ozedit: derail and conspiracy theory removed)
I gave Purtier to my dog and now it’s a bonafide unicorn.
Your story is as relevant to due-diligence as my claim above. Unsubstantiated medical claims to market MLM companies is also illegal.
After all these years there are still no medical studies demonstrating Purtier has any medical benefits. Go figure.
These feelings have nothing to do with calling people out on deceptive marketing.
One can be kind, empathic and compassionate, and still call people out on deception.
Read everything and can’t decide, but here is a serious study about the use of placenta cells to cure or treat serious diseases.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5504152/
Specific ingredient studies don’t apply to products containing specific ingredient..
Anything that isn’t a study on Riway’s Purtier is irrelevant.
