Jacques Marais gaslights over Infinity Grid gifting losses
Infinity Grid was a gifting scheme launched by serial fraudster Jacques Marais in 2022.
Infinity Grid has long-since collapsed, but Marais isn’t done scamming people.
As part of those efforts, on a May 13th Infinity Grid webinar Marais got into some heavy gaslighting.
Why Infinity Grid collapsed is simple: It was a gifting scheme that ran out of new suckers to steal money from.
Marais (right) has evidently exhausted what he stole the first time around, so now it’s time to reboot.
To hear Marais explain losses to the twenty-eight people on the Infinity Grid webinar though, was something else;
It’s been ages since I’ve seen all of you. I’ve been so busy with life, you know? … But yah, I didn’t really ever think that IG would be done. And obviously not for so long.
I’m gonna explain to you guys why it went down. And obviously what transpired after that.
The closest Marais gets to be honest about why Infinity Grid collapsed was claiming people “didn’t want it”.
Sometimes you’ve got to stress to everybody by way of shocking the system and saying, “Listen guys, this is a reality. IG could go away. I mean if people don’t want it, then it’s no point in paying those [membership] bills every month.
Which squarely falls on my shoulders. Which has been very, very tough. And always seems to have the same finality after we start, and we stop.
But Marais’ brush with honest reflection is quickly abandoned;
IGT (Infinity Grid Traditional) is absolutely beautiful, absolutely perfect. There is not a flaw in IG. There’s absolutely not a flaw in IG. It’s a stunning, stunning program.
All that it needs is obviously its bees to come together and help their teams.
“Bees” refers to what’s left of Infinity Grid’s promoters, which going off the webinar appears to primarily be women. Marais refers to himself as “the beekeeper”.
As I understand the last iteration of Infinity Grid, Infinity Grid Traditional, launched sometime late last year and promptly collapsed.
Marais stopped all public communication until the May 13th webinar. On “why this happened”;
Why is IG down? What happened?
This one day I just went to the developers and I tried to have a chat with them to obviously, so we can cut costs wherever so we can sustain it.
And what happened was, there was a … group chat that was supposed to be there. And the group chat is there but they didn’t develop it properly.
So I told them to take it out … So I asked them to refund me. So they forced me to accept $500 back. [They] just bullied me and said, “Well there’s $500 for this.” And I paid about $2700 for them to do this group chat.
So we had a bit of a scuffle about that, because that’s not acting out of integrity. So this is on them.
I obviously didn’t back down … but just moving that aside quickly; I don’t know if you guys remember the Zoom that I did. I was actually … some tears trickled because of the difficult year that we, that me and my family went through last year.
By getting the developments done. Keeping IG alive and so on and it actually completely totaled us. Totaled us financially.
Marais crying about hardship after stealing the lion’s share of Infinity Grid participant funds is peak narcissistic scammer.
So the deal with the Indians (developers), just to get back to the the deal with the Indians about all the developers, about the group chat, which I’m not accepting, they’ve now bullied me into a corner. I can’t even log in to the program.
So they’re completely holding me hostage. Which is really against my grain, especially after how much money they’ve made after developing IG.
Yah, it’s been tough at times but it’s important that you guys know what goes on in the background.
Because I get so many, I get so irate when I hear people just throwing things on the group and saying, “Where’s the money?” And people telling me, “We know you made a lot of money!” Y’know well I’m like, where’s the money?
Irrespective of whether Marais has blown through the money he stole through Infinity Grid, it’s important to once again reiterate that math guarantees admins steal the most money through gifting schemes.
Next follows inner-circle promoters, which likely made up the majority of Marais’ twenty-eight webinar audience.
Because if I look at the, what people don’t understand is the money that comes in doesn’t just all stay in a kitty. It basically goes for the monthly costs. A huge lump of it goes towards the development. I sponsor people. Everything that I do links into that money again.
It comes to a point where the money runs out.
The part about the kitty is true but once again Marais lies about stealing the majority of Infinity Grid funds. What Marais does with the funds after he’s stolen them is irrelevant.
And as for “money running out”, this brings us back to Infinity Grid collapsing once there are inevitably no new suckers to recruit and steal from.
Marais continues to waffle on, eventually reiterating that the current iteration of Infinity Grid is “absolutely perfect”, he just needs new suckers to sign up to lose more money.
Marais claims he needs “a thousand” new victims to keep Infinity Grid going. In the immediate future, 125 gifting payments need to be made to purportedly get Infinity Grid back from Marais’ developers.
After that, Marais states he needs sixty gifting payments a month personally to keep Infinity Grid running.
Buying into Infinity Grid back in 2022 was $100.
The current buy-in gifting amount appears to be $80. From this we can surmise Marais hopes to personally steal at least $4800 a month to keep Infinity Grid going.
Marais also seems to be running “Bee Nation”, another collapsed gifting scheme launched after Infinity Grid.
Later in the webinar an Infinity Grid promoter asked Marais point blank for figures on how much had been gifted into Infinity Grid and how much had been paid out.
Marais declined to answer, stating “it’s none of people’s beeswax”.
Another Prosperity Grid member on the webinar thanked Marais, stating “the community … need[ed] a loving slap on the face”.
Wild, absolutely wild.
