Gas Station VIP Review: Gas pump themed “click a button” Ponzi
Gas Station VIP fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.
Gas Station VIP’s website domain (“gas-station.vip”), was privately registered on July 15th, 2024.
Gas Station VIP has already attracted the attention of financial regulators. The Central Bank of Russia issued a Gas Station VIP pyramid fraud warning on July 30th, 2024.
As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money. [Continue reading…]
Skainet Systems Review: AI trading bot ruse Dubai Ponzi
Skainet Systems fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.
Skainet Systems’ website domain (“skainetsystems.com”), was privately registered on April 9th, 2024.
Courtesy of internal marketing, one name we can attach to Skainet Systems is Michael Baur.
As above, Baur is Skainet Systems’ Chief Marketing Officer. I’ve also seen Baur credited as Skainet Systems’ “CEO of South America”.
In 2019 a BehindMLM reader tied Baur to the CMMT Revolution Ponzi scheme. In August 2022, another BehindMLM reader tied Baur to the collapsed PLC Ultima series of Ponzi schemes.
Baur’s name also led me to this FaceBook post from serial MLM Ponzi promoter Christof Torck:
According to Torck, his “partner in crime” Lee Oshea recently held a Skainet Systems meeting with Baur in Dubai.
Due to the proliferation of scams and failure to enforce securities fraud regulation, BehindMLM ranks Dubai as the MLM crime capital of the world.
BehindMLM’s guidelines for Dubai are:
- If someone lives in Dubai and approaches you about an MLM opportunity, they’re trying to scam you.
- If an MLM company is based out of or represents it has ties to Dubai, it’s a scam.
If you want to know specifically how this applies to Skainet Systems, read on for a full review. [Continue reading…]

AIRobot Review: Quantitative trading ruse “click a button” Ponzi
AIRobot fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.
AIRobot has two known website domains:
- aibotusdt.com – registered with bogus details on July 12th, 2024 (abandoned)
- airobot-usdt.com – registered with bogus details on July 4th, 2024
Of note is both of AIRobot’s website domains being registered through the Chinese registrar Alibaba (Singapore).
Despite only existing for a few weeks, on its website AIRobot falsely claims it was “founded in 2020 and headquartered in Delaware, the United States”.
In an attempt to appear legitimate, AIRobot offers up an unrelated Delaware business license certificate, dated back to 2021. AIRobot also provides a meaningless stolen US Patent Office certificate.

Fundwise Review: Smart Desktop AI pyramid with addons
Fundwise fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.
Fundwise’s website domain (“fundwise.com”), was first registered in 2004. The private registration was last updated on January 10th, 2024.
From BehindMLM’s recent Smart Desktop AI review however, we know Fundwise is run by Corey Price.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Price is based out of Utah in the US.
Prior to launching Smart Desktop AI Price was promoting Local City Places and TranzactCard.

Smart Desktop AI Review: Automated spam pyramid scheme
Smart Desktop AI, aka AI Profit, fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.
Smart Desktop AI’s website domain (“smartdesktop.ai”), was privately registered on an unknown date
Smart Desktop AI marketing features present Corey Price as an owner of the company.
Price claims he’s working with other “owner guys” who he doesn’t reference by name. Price hiding who he’s working with is an MLM due-diligence red flag.
Price seems to have a digital marketing background. In addition to running Smart Desktop AI, Price is also attached to Fundwise.
Fundwise pitches itself on the premise of acquiring $360,000 “you don’t have to pack back”.
Prior to launching Smart Desktop AI Price was promoting Local City Places and TranzactCard.

TrageTech Review: “Arbtech” trading bot Boris CEO Ponzi
TrageTech fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.
TrageTech’s website domain (“tragetech.com”), was privately registered on January 15th, 2024.
In an attempt to appear legitimate, TrageTech claims it is registered with the SEC:
“TrageTech” isn’t registered with the SEC but “Trage Technologies Ltd” was registered in February 2024.
Trage Technologies LTD is a Marshall Islands shell company with one Director; “Graeme Gary Hearn” of “Trust Company Complex”.
Trust Company Complex appears to be a “shell company in a box” type service operated by persons unknown.
The entity appears routinely tied to dodgy shell companies.fraud. At least one Trust Company Complex shell company is listed on the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s sanctions list.
Given Marshall Islands is a tax haven with non-existent regulation of MLM related fraud, Trust Company Complex’s Graeme Gary Hearn likely doesn’t exist.
Supporting this is TrageTech naming “Michael Hearn” as CEO in their marketing materials:
This name is unlikely to be a coincidence. Michael Hearn, aka Mike Hearn, is a relatively well-known former Google and bitcoin dev.
TrageTech’s Michael Hearn is played by UK national Daniel Poole:
Poole is based out of Thailand and is the Entertainment & Activities Consultant at X2 Logistics Networks.
Note Poole represents himself on social media with a profile photo that appears to be well over a decade old.
Having established TrageTech’s CEO doesn’t exist it follows that, beyond registering a shell company to register with the SEC, TrageTech has no actual physical ties to the Marshall Islands.
To date TrageTech has made two SEC filings. We’ll go over these in the conclusion of this review (spoiler alert: they’re meaningless).
Boris CEO schemes, wherein an actor is hired to play an executive, are typically the work of Russian scammers. This isn’t definitive but does potentially tie in to Thailand’s growing Russian population.
