Avini Health Review: Supplements + illegal medical claims
Avini Health operates in the nutritional supplement MLM niche.
Avini Health doesn’t provide a corporate address on its website or social media profiles but appears to be based out of the US.
Heading up Avini Health are “leaders” Doug Dickey (VP of sales), Rik Deitsch (CSO) and Neil Roth (CEO).
Doug Dickey’s Avini Health corporate bio cites him with “more than 20 years working as a CEO, CFO in the fertilizer and plant nutrition industry.”
Douglas has also been successful in the network marketing industry with several companies as well as recently becoming a Diamond level distributor in less than 8 months.
Neil Roth “has over 45 years of experience in the consumer products industry and corporate management of large corporations.”
Mr. Roth consistently led double-digit growth in sales and profits at all of the companies in which he served as a top executive.
For the past twenty-five years, Mr. Roth has worked as a highly sought-after marketing consultant as well as president of a medical diagnostics company and electric vehicle company.
Dickey and Roth appear to have gone to some effort to hide specifics of their MLM past. Prior to Avini Health both Dickey and Roth were involved in Navan Global.
I was only able to verify this by stumbling across third-party marketing videos for Navan Global.
Not surprisingly Rik Deitsch, aka Erik Deitsch, was also involved in Navan Global. Deitsch appeared in marketing videos as a member of Navan Global’s corporate team.
Navan Global was a CBD oil MLM opportunity run by Trey Knight. Knight was indicted for wire fraud in 2021, effectively bringing Navan Global to a close.
Prior to Navan Global Deitsch was CEO of Nutra Pharma Corp. Through MyNyloxin, Nutra Pharma Corp ran a cobra venom pain relief MLM opportunity.
In 2018 the SEC sued Nutra Pharma Corp and Deitsch. In their Complaint the SEC alleged, among other things, that Deitsch;
repeatedly engaged in manipulative trades of Nutra Pharma stock by submitting orders to buy shares at prices higher than the sellers’ ask prices in order to “walk up” the stock price.
The SEC’s investigation also revealed that Nutra Pharma Corp’s “cobra venom” MyNyloxin marketing claims were bogus.
Nutra Pharma never had a cobra farm, never had cobras, and indeed had never produced cobra venom.
Deitsch settled the SEC’s fraud charges against him in April 2024. As part of his SEC settlement, Deitsch paid $44,046 in disgorgement, $5013 in prejudgment interest and a $30,000 civil penalty.
Roughly six months after Trey Knight was indicted and Navan Global subsequently collapsed, Avini Health launched in early 2022.

Note that in order to count towards rank qualification, retail customers must have placed a product order in the qualifying month.
PV stands for “Personal Volume”. PV is sales volume generated by retail customer orders and a distributor’s own orders.
Note that Avini Health penalizes distributors for generating retail sales by only counting 50% of generated retail sales volume per order.
GV stands for “Group Volume”. GV is total PV generated by a distributor and their downline.
Avini Health tracks GV through a restricted unilevel compensation structure.
Typically in a unilevel compensation structure if any level 1 distributors recruit new distributors, they are placed on level 2 of the original distributor’s unilevel team.
If any level 2 distributors recruit new distributors, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.
Avini Health caps positions under each unilevel team position at three. In this sense, after the first three positions on level 1 have been established, Avini Health’s unilevel team fills like a 3xx matrix. Manually positioning is also permitted.
Note that direct leg positioning is still possible if a distributor within the restricted unilevel team recruits a new distributor and all three positions below them haven’t been filled yet.
Note Avini Health restricts required GV as per the following recruitment leg limits:
- Silver ranks are capped at 80% of required GV from one recruitment leg
- Gold and Sapphire ranks are capped at 70% of required GV from one recruitment leg and up to 25% from a second leg
- Ruby ranks are capped at 60% of required GV from one recruitment leg and up to 35% from a second leg
- Emerald through White Diamond ranks are capped at 50% of required GV from one recruitment leg and 35% from a second leg
- Blue Diamond and Black Diamond ranks are capped at up to 40% of required GV from two recruitment legs (each)

Avini Health Conclusion
Avini Health is a mixed bag across its products, marketing of said products and compensation. Let’s start with Avini Health’s products and marketing.
In light of Rik Deitsch’s recent Nutra Pharma Corp SEC settlement, Avini Health selling a “cobra venom” product is the obvious elephant in the room.
Does Avini Health’s Plus Relief contain cobra venom? Or would another SEC investigation lead to repeat allegations of fraud?
I can’t answer that but given Deitsch’s Nutra Pharma Corp settlement I’m highly suspect.
I was able to definitively backdate Deitsch’s questionable marketing claims to August 2020.
Amid the early onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Deitsch was shilling ingredients in Navan Global supplements as a “broad spectrum anti-viral agent”.
While it does slap FDA disclaimers on its product pages, Avini Health’s marketing is riddled with illegal medical claims.
Avini Health’s illegal medical claims begins with the company’s logo:
Avini Health markets Plus Fiber as a preventative for “cardiovascular disease”:
Zmunity Mushrooms purportedly “reduce the risk of heart disease”:
This distributor promotes Avini Health as an alternative to medicine:
The same distributor also weaves in cancer into her Avini Health marketing:
This appears to stem from the top-down, with Rik Deitsch himself:
Deitsch pitches Avini Health’s products as being able to “fix the body”, which in turn is then able to “fix itself”. The implication being one can just take Avini Health supplements and do away with approved medicines and treatments.
This is not only illegal as per the Federal Food and Drug and FTC Acts, it’s also potentially dangerous if people with life-threatening medical conditions are targeted.
In an attempt to support their medical claims, Avini Health cites “clinical studies … published in peer-reviewed journals”.
Cell Defender is the only micronized and activated zeolite colloidal suspension in the world.
It is the original colloidal clinoptilolite zeolite product and is supported by over a dozen clinical studies – including trials published in peer-reviewed journals.
To that end Avini Health has a “scientific research” section on its website.
Here we find:
- a 2021 marketing “whitepaper” for Cell Defender but which isn’t a study of Cell Defender and only focuses on the ingredient clinoptilolite
- a 2020 “original research” paper detailing a study on a Navan Global supplement
- a 2004 study on clinoptilolite injected into mice
- a 2009 study pertaining to a Waiora supplement
- a 2018 “critical review on zeolite clinoptilolite safety and medical applications in vivo” that doesn’t reference Avini Health or its products
- a 2020 abstract of a study on activated clinoptilolite that doesn’t mention Avini Health or its products
- a 2022 “product overview” marketing document pertaining to Zmunity Mushrooms
Avini Health fails to provide a single peer-reviewed study backing and of the medical claims it and its distributors make with respect to its supplements.
Even if they existed, Avini Health’s supplements not being approved for treatment of any diseases would undermine any provided actual studies.
Avini Health’s compensation plan is decent enough but the marketing of it is contradictory.
To their credit Avini Health does have retail customer requirements. Retail Avini Health customers receive rewards points, which can be put towards future product orders.
Volume from retail customers however is penalized by 50% though. Meanwhile volume from recruited Avini Health distributors is always counted at a “1 to 1 ratio of dollars spent”.
Autoship, which should only ever be used as a convenient way to purchase products, is heavily pushed as a way for Avini Health distributors to qualify for commissions.
The contradiction here is autoship recruitment can still happen in Avini Health but you still need to generate retail customers to qualify for commissions.
AVINI HEALTH AUTOSHIP PROGRAM: Available only to Distributors. AVINI HEALTH offers a simple and easy way to receive your products monthly and qualify personally for downline payouts.
Putting all of this together we have
- supplements tied to an individual with at least one documented run-in with a regulator over false marketing claims
- supplements being marketed as an alternative to medicine, capable of treating and/or preventing various diseases
- no peer-reviewed studies backing any of the medical claims being used to market Avini Health’s products
- a compensation plan that requires retail customers but focuses mainly on autoship recruitment
Any MLM company making unsubstantiated medical claims about its products should be avoided.
And if you’re pitched on Avini Health with unsubstantiated medical claims, a report to the FDA and/or FTC is probably a good idea.
That’s the main feature of homeopathie, diluting things so much that no molecule is detectable. The perfect Scam, works for over 200 years!
Whatever you are trying to do to this company is wrong. I have first hand experience with how well it works. So stop with the defamation.
Also the corporate office is in Florida.
This is a review of Avini Health. Of primary concern is the company’s illegal unsubstantiated medical claims, which are documented in plenty.
Not seeing how your anecdotal experience changes any of that. And, quite obviously, “defamation” doesn’t mean whatever you think it means.
