Power Hashing Review: 25 month ROI Ponzi scheme
There is no information on the Power Hashing website indicating who owns or runs the business.
The company does however have a limited time pop-up advertising an upcoming July 23rd Power Hashing event.
The event is taking place in Bangalore, India with the advertisement naming Amit Jaiswal as co-founder of Power Hashing.
On his Facebook and LinkedIn profiles, Jaiswal (right) cites his location as Delhi, India and identifies himself as the “Founder, Chairman & CEO at Power Hashing”.
Prior to Power Hashing, in 2013 Jaiswal joined Empower Network as an affiliate. In 2014 he joined Brain Abundance.
Read on for a full review of the Power Hashing MLM opportunity.
The Power Hashing Product Line
Power Hashing has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market Power Hashing affiliate membership itself.
The Power Hashing Compensation Plan
The Power Hashing compensation plan sees affiliates invest $100 to $10,000 on the promise of an advertised 25 month ROI.
- Alpha Package – costs $100 and pays an 8% ROI for 25 months (200%)
- Beta Package – costs $800 and pays an 8.5% ROI for 25 months (212.5%)
- Gama Package – costs $1000 and pays a 9% ROI for 25 months (225%)
- Delta Package – costs $2000 and pays a 9.5% ROI for 25 months (237.5%)
- Zeta Package – costs $5000 and pays a 10% ROI for 25 months (250%)
- Sigma Package – costs $10,000 and pays an 11% ROI for 25 months (275%)
Referral Commissions
Referral commissions in Power Hashing are paid out via a unilevel compensation structure.
A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):
If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.
Power Hashing cap payable unilevel levels at ten, with affiliates paid a percentage of hashing points generated at each unilevel level.
Each Power Hashing affiliate package has a corresponding hashing point value:
- Alpha – 90 hashing points
- Beta – 450 hashing points
- Gama – 900 hashing points
- Delta – 1800 hashing points
- Zeta – 4500 hashing points
- Sigma – 9000 hashing points
How much of a percentage is paid out is determined by which level of the unilevel team funds are invested:
- level 1 (personally recruited affiliates) – 10%
- level 2 – 5%
- level 3 – 3%
- levels 4 to 6 – 2%
- levels 7 to 10 – 1%
Note that affiliates must recruit one new Power Hashing affiliate per unilevel level they can earn on.
Eg. recruit one affiliate to earn on level 1, recruit another affiliate to earn on level 2 etc.
To earn on all ten unilevel levels, a Power Hashing affiliate must recruit at least ten new affiliates who have invested.
Power Hashing affiliates can also only earn on the hashing point value of the maximum package they themselves have invested in.
Eg. If an affiliate has invested in a Gama Package (900 hashing points) and a unilevel team affiliate invests in Delta or higher package, they will still only earn a referral commission on 900 hashing points for that investment.
Referral Matching Bonus
Power Hashing affiliates are paid a matching bonus on referral commissions paid to their unilevel team.
The matching bonus is paid out via the same unilevel compensation structure referral commissions are paid with, again down a total of ten levels:
- level 1 (personally recruited affiliates) – 10% match
- level 2 – 5% match
- level 3 – 3% match
- levels 4 to 6 – 2% match
- levels 7 to 10 – 1% match
Hashing Bucket Bonus
Upon reaching specific hashing point milestones, the following Hashing Bucket Bonuses are paid out:
- 20,000 hashing points = $1000
- 30,000 hashing points = $3000
- 40,000 hashing points = $6000
- 50,000 hashing points = $10,000
- 60,000 hashing points = $15,000
- 70,000 hashing points = $21,000
To qualify for the Hashing Bucket Bonus, a Power Hashing affiliate must recruit at least ten affiliates who have invested.
Anniversary Bonus
If a Power Hashing affiliate’s downline invests $100,000 or more within 12 months of them joining, the affiliate is paid a 2% ($2000) Anniversary Bonus.
Joining Power Hashing
Power Hashing affiliate membership is tied to investment in one of the following affiliate packages:
- Alpha Package – $100
- Beta Package – $500
- Gama Package – $1000
- Delta – $2000
- Zeta – $5000
- Sigma – $10,000
The primary difference between the above packages in income potential through the Power Hashing compensation plan.
Conclusion
Power Hashing solicit investment from affiliates under the guise of ROIs being paid through bitcoin mining.
The problem is bitcoin mining does not generate a consistent ROI, as advertised in the Power Hashing compensation plan.
Naturally there is also no proof provided linking Power Hashing’s payable ROIs to external income generating activity.
Who Manages The Funds?
These funds are managed by a team of POWER HASHING investment experts.
Thus there is a disconnect between reality and what Power Hashing are offering.
The only identifiable source of revenue in Power Hashing is affiliate investment. The use of newly invested funds to pay off existing investors makes Power Hashing a Ponzi scheme.
There is also a “pay to play” element inherent within the opportunity, with the more an affiliate invests directly impacting their income potential.
As with all Ponzi schemes, once newly invested funds dry up Power Hashing will find itself unable to meet its ROI obligations.
The 25 month maturity period on investments gives Amit Jaiswal plenty of time to make off with invested funds. By the time Power Hashing affiliates realize the company has collapsed it will be too late.
By soliciting investment in bitcoin, recovery of funds for victims of the scheme will also be minimal.
power hashing has three directors: Abhishek Bhandhari, Amit Jaiswal and Abhishek Shrivastva.

surprisingly, abhishek bhandari was interviewed by jamie redman of bitcoin.com in january 2016.
[recently, jamie redman had run an expose on the ponzi/pyramid scam onecoin, in which he interviewed tim tayshun, a onecoin critic]
it seems jamie redman did not check the background of powerhashing before interviewing abhishek bhandari, and thought they were a serious representative of the indian cryptocurrency enthusiast community!
‘consulting and mining firm’ indeed! more like a run of the mill fake crytocurrency mining MLM, which seems to be the latest craze in the ponzi/pyramid community here.
meanwhile, abhishek bhandari who is pretending to be a cryptocurrency expert, is running around india and nepal, recruiting people into powerhashing with promises of riches.

You’re telling me. It’s the MLM penny auction craze from 2012 all over again.
Some numbers crunched to confirm Powerhashing’s “core business” of bitcoin mining is unprofitable, based on their own evidence:
