Traffic Monsoon victims given another 60 days to file claim
Victims of the Traffic Monsoon Ponzi scheme have been given another 60 days to file a claim.
As of the original claim bar date, October 31st, 2024, 660 US and 9205 foreign Traffic Monsoon victims had filed allowed claims topping $45 million.
Another 9685 victims who, according to collected data are eligible to file a claim, have not. The value of these non-submitted claims totals around $13.7 million.
In an effort to allow these victims to file claims, the Traffic Monsoon Receiver filed a motion requesting a 60 day extension on December 23rd.
The Receiver also sought permission to contact Traffic Monsoon victims who had not filed a claim via email and email targeted Google and FaceBook ads.
The court approved the Receiver’s motion on January 8th, granting victims another 60 days to file claims (March 9th).
As per the Receiver’s last filed Status Report in September 2024, the Traffic Monsoon Receivership is sitting on just over $50 million.
