Martene Wallace has topped DAO1’s investor recruitment list for March 2026.

For her efforts, DAO1 rewarded Wallace with $25,000 in “gold value”.

Wallace, originally from Queensland in Australia’s north, opted for public recognition of her status as an “anonymous user” from Australia.

This is likely due to Australian authorities issuing a DAO1 fraud warning in February 2025.

DAO1 has neither challenged ASIC’s securities warning or rectified its securities fraud in Australia. Promotion of DAO1 in Australia or directed at Australian residents remains illegal.

Following ASIC’s warning, Wallace relocated to Dubai in late 2025.

While Wallace might have misappropriated enough to uproot her family and build a new life in the MLM crime capital of the world, it’s likely her DAO1 team in Australia hasn’t.

For their part, DAO1 and owner Josip Heit (right) seem fine with continuing to illegally solicit investment from Australian consumers.

Other recognized DAO1 top recruiters for March 2026 are also violating their country’s financial laws.

Susan Fritz and Costa Solomou are from Austria and South Africa respectively. DAO1 is not registered to offer securities in either country.

South Africa issued a securities fraud warning against GSPartners, DAO1’s predecessor, in 2023.

Another “anonymous user” and R. Bartholomaus Fiolka are from Germany. Germany issued a DAO1 fraud warning in October 2025.

The dollar amount Martene Wallace and others recognized had to misappropriate from consumers to make DAO1’s top recruiter list for March 2026 is unknown.

Outside of Australia and Germany, DAO1 fraud warnings have been issued by Alberta, Latvia, New Zealand and Lithuania.

As of March 2026, SimilarWeb was tracking ~22,000 monthly DAO1 website visits (down 45% month on month).

Top sources of DAO1 website traffic over the same period were Germany (41%), the Dominican Republic (26%), South Africa (14%), the UK (11%) and the US (4%).
