Infinity Global was a pyramid scheme launched in 2021.

As an MLM company, Infinity Global’s business model was simple: purchase “bitex packages” and get paid to recruit others who do the same.

When exactly Infinity Global collapsed is unclear but a visit to the company’s website domain now redirects to Therus Network.

Therus Network operates from the domain “therusnetwork.com”, privately registered on June 19th, 2023.

Therus Network’s official FaceBook page was created on February 7th, 2024, which is probably around the time the reboot launched.

The last post on Infinity Global’s official FaceBook page (which for some reason is still linked to on Therus Network’s website), is dated March 2nd, 2024.

Heading up Therus Network we have what appears to be a carryover Infinity Global team, led by CEO Leopoldo Castillo.

On its website Therus Network provides New York and Costa Rica corporate addresses.

Therus Network’s New York address belongs to virtual address company Regus. This suggests Therus Network has no actual ties to New York.

Whether Therus Network has any physical ties to its provided Costa Rica address is unclear.

As of April 2024, SimilarWeb tracked top sources of traffic to Therus Network’s website as Costa Rica (49%), Chile (41%) and Spain (10%).

This tracks with Infinity Global primarily targeting Spanish-speaking countries across Central and South America.

Therus Network’s Products

Therus Network has no retailable products or services.

Affiliates are only able to market Therus Network affiliate membership itself.

Therus Network affiliate membership provides access to Bitex and TravelPoints packages.

Bitex Packages

  • 100 Bitex for $101 – “fundamentals of financial education” course and “10 steps to formulate a business objective” masterclass
  • 250 Bitex for $252.50 – “advanced fundamentals of financial education” course and “smart investments” masterclass
  • 500 Bitex (listed in Therus Network’s marketing material but not their compensation pan so cost unknown) – “financial planning and investments” workshop plus “develop your business plan” and “introduction to cryptocurrencies” masterclasses
  • 1000 Bitex for $1010 – cryptocurrency and blockchain education plus “networking techniques”, NFT and crypto gaming masterclasses
  • 2000 Bitex for $2020 – “persuasive communication” course and “fundamentals of Harvard model negotiation” and “storytelling” masterclasses
  • 5000 Bitex for $5050 – Harvard negotiation model course plus “fundamentals of generating abundance” and “quality and service” masterclasses
  • 10,000 Bitex for $10,100 – wealth creation academy
  • 25,000 Bitex for $25,250 – high-performance team academy

Note that higher costing Bitex Packages contain all materials in lower priced tiers.

E.g. if you purchased 5000 Bitex, you’ve receive everything in the 100 Bitex, 250 Bitex, 500 Bitex, 1000 Bitex and 2000 Bitex tiers.

TravelPoints Packages

Therus Network’s TravelPoints packages appear tied to a discount travel booking platform.

  • 1000 TravelPoints – $252.50 and then $50.50 a month
  • 2000 TravelPoints – $505 and then $101 a month
  • 4000 TravelPoints – $4040 and then $202 a month
  • 10,000 TravelPoints Plus – $10,100 and then $505 a month

Presumably the more spend the bigger the savings but this isn’t explained on Therus Network’s website or in its marketing material.

Therus Network’s Compensation Plan

Therus Network affiliates invest in Bitex packages. Bitex Packages correspond to Bitex points, which can be cashed out internally at a 1 Bitex point = $1 rate.

Returns offered on Bitex package investment is determined by how long a Therus Network affiliate opts to wait.

  • 16 month wait period = 200% ROI
  • 24 month wait period = 300% ROI
  • 30 month wait period = 400% ROI
  • 34 month wait period = 500% ROI

Note that Therus Network affiliate membership fees must be maintained during the ROI wait period.

Also note that Therus Network affiliates are only able to withdraw 75% of requested withdrawals. The remaining 25% must be reinvested into new Bitex packages.

The MLM side of Therus Network pays on recruitment of affiliate investors.

Therus Network Affiliate Ranks

There are eleven affiliate ranks within Therus Network’s compensation plan.

Along with their respective qualification criteria, they are as follows:

  1. Executive 1 Star – generate 1000 GV in your weaker binary team leg
  2. Executive 2 Stars – generate 2000 GV in your weaker binary team leg
  3. Executive 3 Stars – generate 5000 GV in your weaker binary team leg
  4. Executive 4 Stars – generate 10,000 GV in your weaker binary team leg
  5. Executive 5 Stars – generate 20,000 GV in your weaker binary team leg
  6. Executive Diamond 1 Star – generate 50,000 GV in your weaker binary team leg and have two Executive 4 Stars or higher in two separate recruitment legs
  7. Executive Diamond 2 Star – generate 100,000 GV in your weaker binary team leg and have two Executive 5 Stars or higher in two separate recruitment legs
  8. Executive Diamond 3 Star – generate 250,000 GV in your weaker binary team leg and have two Diamond 1 Stars or higher in two separate recruitment legs
  9. Executive Diamond 4 Star – generate 500,000 GV in your weaker binary team leg and have three Diamond 1 Stars or higher in two separate recruitment legs
  10. Executive Crown – generate 1,000,000 GV in your weaker binary team leg and have three Diamond 2 Stars or higher in three separate recruitment legs
  11. Executive Ambassador – generate 2,000,000 GV in your weaker binary team leg and have five Diamond 2 Stars or higher in four separate recruitment legs

GV stands for “Group Volume” and is sales volume generated via Bitex and TravelPoints package sales.

Therus Network aren’t specific about GV requirements (they erroneously refer to group volume as “PV”), but I believe the required amounts are accumulated.

Referral Commissions

Therus Network pays referral commissions on the first Bitex or TravelPoints Plus package recruited affiliates purchases.

First package referral commission rates are determined by which package the referring affiliate purchased themselves:

  • purchase a $100 Bitex package and receive a 5% initial referral commission rate
  • purchase a $250 Bitex package and receive a 6% initial referral commission rate
  • purchase a $500 Bitex package and receive a 7% initial referral commission rate
  • purchase a $1000 or higher Bitex or 1000 TravelPoints package and receive an 8% initial referral commission rate

Subsequent package purchases also pay referral commissions, once again determined by which package the referring affiliate purchased:

  • purchase a $100 Bitex package and receive a 3% subsequent referral commission rate
  • purchase a $250 or $500 Bitex package and receive a 4% subsequent referral commission rate
  • purchase a $1000 or higher Bitex or TravelPoints package and receive a 5% subsequent referral commission rate

Extension Referral Commissions

If a Therus Network affiliate opts to extend their Bitex package duration by 8 to 18 months, beyond the default 16 month period, the following additional commissions are paid out:

  • 8 month extension – 10% bonus referral commission
  • additional 6 month extension (14 months) – 20% bonus referral commission
  • additional 4 month extension (18 months) – 30% bonus referral commission

Note extension commissions are paid as bonus referral commissions on the original amount invested into the extended Bitex packages.

Residual Commissions

Therus Network pays residual commissions via a binary compensation structure.

A binary compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a binary team, split into two sides (left and right):

The first level of the binary team houses two positions. The second level of the binary team is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).

Subsequent levels of the binary team are generated as required, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.

Positions in the binary team are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of affiliates. Note there is no limit to how deep a binary team can grow.

At the end of each month Therus Network tallies up new package volume on both sides of the binary team.

Affiliates are paid a percentage of package volume on their weaker binary team side.

Residual commission rates are determined by which package an affiliate themselves purchased:

  • purchase a $100 Bitex package and receive a 5% residual commission rate
  • purchase a $250 Bitex package and receive a 6% residual commission rate
  • purchase a $500 Bitex package and receive a 7% residual commission rate
  • purchase a $1000 or $2000 Bitex package and receive an 8% residual commission rate
  • purchase a $5000 Bitex package and receive a 9% residual commission rate
  • purchase a $10,000 Bitex or TravelPoints package and receive a 10% residual commission rate

Note that residual commissions are capped at 200% of the package tier an affiliate purchased.

E.g. a $100 Bitex package tier affiliate can earn up to $200 in residual commissions a month.

Once paid out on, weaker side volume is matched against the stronger binary team side and flushed.

Leftover volume on the stronger binary team side carries over for up to 6 months.

Leadership Bonus

To qualify for the Leadership Bonus a Therus Network affiliate must recruit six affiliates, placed three on each side of the binary team.

Once qualified for, the Leadership Bonus is paid out monthly based on rank:

  • Executive 5 Stars receive a $400 Leadership Bonus

It’s assumed the Diamond Experience Bonus is only available to Executive Diamond 1 Star and higher ranked affiliates.

The two Global Sales Bonus Pools are paid out monthly to Executive Diamond 2 Star and higher ranked affiliates.

Therus Network Conclusion

When I reviewed Infinity Global in December 2021 I classified it as a pyramid scheme. While Bitex packages could be subscribed to for up to 36 months, there was no mention of Bitex points or the 500% ROI scheme.

I don’t know if this is because Infinity Global hid the scheme or it was added later.

Either way, the biggest difference between BehindMLM’s 2021 Infinity Global review and Therus Network in 2024 is the passive returns.

Central to Therus Network is a fraudulent investment scheme, with everything else built around that.

Both the education courses attached to Bitex packages and the entire discount travel engine are pseudo-compliance, with neither failing to legitimize said fraudulent investment scheme.

As to the scheme itself, Therus Network affiliates invest in Bitex packages on the promise of a passive return topping 500%.

Rather than just being honest about soliciting investment and paying passive returns, Therus Network dresses up its investment scheme as “cash back”.

The “Cash Back” option will be available for withdrawal in a period of 30 to 45 days, after completing the corresponding periods of 16, 24, 30 or 34 months.

If the participant initially purchased a package of 1,000 Bitex and reaches month 34 of the Loyalty Program (compliance with the rules each month), at this point they will now have 5,000 Bitex.

In other words, your original package is quintupled, thanks to the points acquired each month.

Because Bitex have a value of 1 for $1, the “Cash Back” will be the same.

The full 500% ROI requires a 36 month (3 year) maturity time. It should be noted Infinity Global collapsed within three years of launch.

MLM reboots rarely last anywhere near as long as their predecessors, so Therus Network will probably collapse even sooner.

In addition to education courses, discount travel and “cash back” pseudo-compliance, any notion that affiliates are doing anything but investing can be dismissed by way of Therus Network’s own marketing material.

Bitex packages do not have “upgrades”, since each one has the potential to start a new, separate Loyalty Program period (the periods are explained later in this document).

This, in turn, means that several Bitex packages can be purchased in parallel.

Why would anyone purchase multiple instances of access to the same educational course content?

They wouldn’t. Affiliates are investing and thus, through its own marketing materials, Therus Network’s ruse falls apart.

On the regulatory front Therus Network represents it is based out of the US, both through its New York corporate address and terms and conditions;

The terms and conditions and other legal documents related to the Adherents and Independent Representatives will be bound to the laws of the state of Delaware of the United States of America.

As per the Howey Test, Therus Network’s investment scheme constitutes a securities offering.

Therus Network affiliates invest funds into the company (a common enterprise). This is done “with a reasonable expectation of profits to be derived from the efforts of others” (the advertised up to 500% passive return).

Therus Network don’t disclose how they pay out up to 500% per investment but we can confirm it’s paid out passively. I.e. returns derived through Therus Network’s Bitex package investment scheme are “derived from the efforts of others”.

With all prongs of the Howey Test satisfied Therus Network’s Bitex packages constitute an investment contract, which in turn constitutes a securities offering.

Under US law securities offering must be registered with the SEC. A search of the SEC’s Edgar database reveals neither Therus Network or Leopoldo Castillo are registered with the SEC.

Securities in Panama are regulated by the Superintendencia de Bancos de Panama under similar securities laws. Therus Network also fails to provide evidence it has registered to offer securities in Panama.

This at a minimum constitutes securities fraud. And with nothing marketed or sold to retail customers, the MLM side of Therus Network constitutes a pyramid scheme.

As it stands the only verifiable source of revenue entering Therus Network is new investment. Using new investment to pay returns of up to 500% would make Therus Network a Ponzi scheme.

As with all MLM Ponzi schemes, once affiliate recruitment dries up so too will new investment.

This will starve Therus Network of ROI revenue, eventually prompting a collapse.

The math behind Ponzi schemes guarantees that when they collapse, the majority of participants lose money.
