Savings Highway Global Review: Third pyramid reboot
BehindMLM first reviewed Savings Highway back in 2012. We found a “membership” MLM company selling access to discounts.
With nothing marketed or sold to retail customers, we classified Savings Highway as a matrix-based pyramid scheme.
By 2016 Savings Highway had long since collapsed. This prompted owner Steve Gresham (right) to reboot as My 1 Dollar Business.
Same business model (access to discounts and pyramid recruitment), only now membership started at $1 a month.
When My 1 Dollar Business ran its course, Gresham rebooted again as My 20 Dollar Travel Business (~2019).
This time around the only savings were travel-based. Entry membership was still $1 but was locked off from the travel discounts. Access to those discounts cost $20 or $100 a month.
Commissions were still tied to recruitment, making My 20 Dollar Travel Business another pyramid scheme.
Both My 1 Dollar Business and My 20 Dollar Travel Business ran from the domain “my1dollarbusiness.com”.
Today that domain redirects to “savingshighwayglobal.com”, the third reboot of the original Savings Highway pyramid scheme.
Steve Gresham is still running the show. According to his FaceBook profile, Gresham is based out of Georgia in the US.
Savings Highway Global’s website domain was registered in September 2020, which means My 20 Dollar Travel Business was particularly short-lived.
As of December 2023, SimilarWeb tracked ~141,000 monthly visits to Savings Highway Global’s website. The vast majority of those visits originated from the US (94%).
Read on for a full review of Savings Highway Global’s MLM opportunity.

Initial Recruitment Commissions
Savings Highway Global pays recruitment commissions via a unilevel compensation structure.
A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):
If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.
Savings Highway Global caps payable unilevel team levels at ten, based on rank:
- Consultants earn on two unilevel team levels
- Managers earn on three unilevel team levels
- Directors earn on five unilevel team levels
- Executives earn on all ten unilevel team levels
Accounting for these level restrictions, recruitment commissions are paid out based on how much a recruited affiliate spends.
- recruitment of a Gold tier affiliate pays $10 on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates), $2 on level 2 and $1 on levels 3 to 10
- recruitment of a Platinum tier affiliate pays $50 on level 1, $10 on level 2 and $5 on levels 3 to 10
- recruitment of a Titanium tier affiliate pays $100 on level 1, $20 on level 2 and $10 on levels 3 to 10
Monthly Recruitment Commissions
Savings Highway Global affiliates earn 20% of monthly membership fees paid by personally recruited affiliates.
Not that residual recruitment commissions are paid from the second month of membership.
Residual Monthly Recruitment Commissions
Savings Highway Global pays monthly residual recruitment commissions via a 3×12 matrix.
A 3×12 matrix places an affiliate at the top of a matrix, with three positions directly under them:
These three positions form the first level of the matrix. The second level of the matrix is generated by splitting these first three positions into another three positions each (9 positions).
levels three to twelve of the matrix are generated in the same manner, with each new level of the matrix housing three times as many positions as the previous level.
Positions in the matrix are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of Savings Highway Global affiliates.
Residual monthly recruitment commissions are paid as 5% of membership fees paid by affiliates recruited into the matrix.
- Consultants and Managers earn on up to ten matrix levels
- Directors earn on up to eleven matrix levels
- Executives and higher earn on all twelve available matrix levels
Note that residual monthly recruitment commissions are paid from the second month of membership.
Residual Monthly Recruitment Commission Match
Savings Highway Global pays a match on residual monthly recruitment commissions earned by personally recruited affiliates.
- Directors earn a 5% match
- Executives and higher earn a 10% match

Executive Trainer and higher ranked Savings Highway Global affiliates receive a monthly Lifestyle Bonus:
- Executive Trainers receive $200 a month
- Senior Executives receive $500 a month

- Ambassadors receive a Breitling watch upon initial qualification and then $5000 a month
- Crowne Ambassadors receive $10,000 a month

These commissions are generated when affiliates interact with vendors and make a purchase.

Savings Highway Global Conclusion
After the failed “My $x business” reboots, Savings Highway Global is a return to the original Savings Highway.
The primary differences are the ranks, rank bonuses and residual initial recruitment commissions. Other than that Savings Highway Global is the same pyramid scheme with the same regulatory compliance problems.
The FTC has made it clear that MLM companies not selling products and services to retail customers are operating as pyramid schemes.
In addition to having no retail customers, Savings Highway Global makes it clear its membership tiers are “pay to play”.
“Pay to play” is another indicator of an MLM pyramid scheme.
Savings Highway’s “no refunds” refund policy may also be a further violation of the FTC Act:
Refunds are not offered for consecutive memberships starting in month two and ongoing. There are no refunds for Annual Memberships.
As with all MLM pyramid schemes, once affiliate recruitment dries up so too will commissions.
This will see newly recruited Savings Highway Global affiliates stop paying monthly fees. This in turn means those above them stop getting paid.
Once enough affiliates stop paying monthly fees, an irreversible collapse is triggered.
This has happened three times now, with each reboot casting aside victims of the previous pyramid scheme.
Math guarantees that when a pyramid scheme collapses, the majority of participants lose money.
Steve Gresham has destroyed savings highway global again. He hasn’t paid renewals in over a month.
He covered up that he lost the merchant account and pretended that the website host was responsible.
People have thousands and thousands of pending commissions that were already charged from new sales that when he intentionally crashed the website were stolen including money in reserves.
He blackmailed every representative that they had to put their new credit card information in or they would lose their teams.
Every representative that had pending commissions waiting to be paid after a seven day hold were kept by Steve Gresham. They continued to lie about everything.
Here is an update video from some of the representatives on what really happened.

Thanks for sharing that. I got around to watching it. As I understand it whoever Savings Highway Global’s payment processor was cut them off.
Cue Gresham basically lying for about a month till he rebooted with crypto.
AFAIK Savings Highway Global still doesn’t have a fiat processor but this might have changed. Worth noting here but given how recent this review is I’ll refrain from a separate article unless there are further developments.
Steve Gresham, the Savings Highway Global CEO is now sending letters from his new lawyer threatening lawsuits to anyone that shares the facts of his career of dishonesty and the current events of his theft of everyone’s pending commissions and reserve commissions and the demise of everyone’s teams that have been lost because of his incompetence and leadership as well as civil violations, and also criminal violations.
His big effort to quiet all the victims is using his invalid terms and conditions that he changes at will, with no notice of changes to his customers and representatives, which is required in the United States.
His term and conditions are null and void and written, like a high school student with a broad brush, that any lawyer, or judge would agree are worthless.
In his terms and conditions, Steve Gresham says that he can change them anytime and they are retroactive. So basically he can add anything. he wants at any time and notify nobody with anything he decides. And thinks that that will hold up in a court of law.
In his lawyer letters, Steve Gresham wants the victims of his theft and illegal activities to sign and reaffirm his illegal terms and conditions.
Here’s what I would tell Steve Gresham if I received something like that. I would say I’m not signing anything because I am going to sue Steve Gresham and his company for every dollar he has to his name and then make sure him and his advisors and anyone involved in managing and the corruption as well as all the back room deals, internal cross, recruiting goes to jail.
Wait until it comes out to regulators that that Steve’s secret partner advisor is Jeb Tyler the 5Linx founder that sentenced to jail for fraud and other crimes. He’s not even supposed to be involved in MLM and he’s leading the company with Steve Gresham.
The best part is defendants, have a legal right to discovery, so Steve Gresham better preserve all evidence, documents and information for discovery.
That should be fun for the public to find out that Steve Gresham and his advisory board have positions in tranzact card that they were cross recruiting saving Highway global members of other peoples teams to join Tranzact card/finmore.
Now the company changed the compensation plan again in the middle of the night camouflaging it with some illegal free Member nonsense and celebrating cutting fast commissions in half as if it’s a good thing.
This guy is the cult leader Jim Jones of MLM.
Steve Gresham made everyone and forced everyone to pay again even though they had pending commissions and money in reserves before the site went down and then, after paying again, stopped paying commissions to anyone that complained and suspended their accounts.
To this day, there are many representatives that are still not being paid after paying for their membership again.
More to come if he continues.
THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEW and I will not join this company…
Someone invited me to join SHG and I was happy to join at $100/mo because of the TRAVEL benefits and the AUTOMATIC upgrade. But, today I found a bad practice in that the owner was negligent in managing his business and stole or lost money from people, I no join, and many other people the same, stay away from SHG.
Is hard to believe that the owner sabotaged and destroyed his business to steal the money from his members who make the business work and make money for him. 6-16-2024 George.
