Charles Scoville sends bizarre god letter to court
In light of his lawyers abandoning him, Charles Scoville has decided it’s best he represent himself.
Scoville’s first communication with the court is a hand-written letter he’s penned himself.
And boy it’s a doozy.
Scoville’s letter was received the court on January 7th, 2020.
Without further ado, here it is for your entertainment;
I know Traffic Monsoon LLC never offered an investment, according to the legal definition of a security, nor in any sense of the word.
The securities exchange commission [sic] has lied about the offer, and manipulated facts against me.
This case is rooted in evil, the love of money above truth.
As Jesus Christ said, I will not resist against evil, and as I’ve been sued at the law for my business and assets, which the Receivership has profited millions from, I let you have my car also, and the remainder of assets in storage.
See Matthew 5:39-40.
I urge the court and all involved to repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
I urge the court and all involved to do the literal words of Jesus Christ, or you will not be saved, but be case out, where there is weeping, wailing, and complaining.
This land is the Lord’s, and he will have the people who dwell here obey him, so we should take his words seriously and do them with literal exactness.
As Jesus said,
“Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! For ye lade men with burders grevious to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your finders.
Woe unto you lawyers! For ye have taken away the key of knowledge; ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.”
The unjust law doesn’t even allow me to defend truth without a lawyer, but froze assets so I can’t afford a lawyer.
Theft has been made legal through corruption of our laws, but to God what’s happened is against his law.
You might not know, and you might not respect, the Lord God reigns in judgment from on high right now.
He will exercise judgment according to his literal exact word so I hope you take Jesus Christ’s words seriously.
Sincerely, Charles Scoville
Yeah, so things aren’t going to well for Scoville at the moment.
A few minor fact checks; the Receivership is currently sitting on around $53 million to return to Traffic Monsoon victims.
Ongoing Receivership expenses are squarely attributable to Scoville (right) delaying proceedings for almost two years (the Traffic Monsoon preliminary injunction was granted in March 2017).
Work towards the claims process resumed literally days after Scoville lost his Supreme Court writ bid.
All in all Scoville has had his chance to argue the legality of Ponzi schemes during the preliminary injunction trial and at appeal.
The Supreme Court wasn’t interested in the argument for legalization of Ponzi schemes, so unfortunately he didn’t get to argue there.
Still, it’s a bit rich to claim Scoville hasn’t been able to “defend truth”. He’s had his chances, and lost.
Now it’s time to either settle, or get steamrolled in court.
And speaking of prayers, spare a thought for Scoville’s next lawyer;
Imagine sitting across a table in prison trying to come up with a legal strategy, and you’ve got Scoville there rocking back and forth quoting scripture.
As Scoville continues to lose his mind it’s tempting to almost feel a bit sorry for the guy. Bit hard to look past him being in prison for attempted aggravated sexual abuse of a child though.
Personally speaking, if this is what we can expect from Scoville without representation – I can’t wait for the next episode. Stay tuned!
On a more serious note I’m not really sure how the court will respond to Scoville’s letter (if at all).
It’s not a motion, and is only on the docket as a matter of record.
Scamville has throw away just an insane amount of $ on ridiculous claims that were laughed out of court at every level & mostly petty jurisdictional/procedural issues.
Had he saved his $ for the actual causes of action with the threat of a long & expensive (to the SEC) legal battle, he would have had a chance at a much easier punishment via a settlement.
IMO
Given Scamville’s lack of $ for an attorney & the amount of aggravation/$ he has cost the SEC over nonsense = the SEC are going do all in their power to punish him severely.
Then we get to look forward to the criminal trial.
Dang, I guess that means 70% of people on Earth, all the wonderful creatures, and all the humans predating 2000 years ago, aren’t “saved” either. LOL.
It’s really quite ridiculous when one bothers to stop and think about it. Furthermore, one ‘could’ conclude that followers of Jesus are represented by sex offenders and Ponzi schemers.
Are we surprised by Charles, since MLM and religion use such similar psychology? You know, faith and belief.
I would argue that any organization that teaches worship and blind faith to separate the status and destiny of humans, versus simply being good and kind, is highly suspect. In fact, it is dangerous. History has certainly proven that.
What a nut job Scoville is. He doesn’t have a car? Maybe he can borrow Jesus’ donkey when he gets out, since he seems to be living in those times.
And promise of infinite rewards if you give them your money / time (same thing) and then wait.
Leviticus 19:11
‘You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another’.
The receivership has $53 million to give back. No need to keep beating this guy down. He is paying for what he did, let it go.
Geez, it would’ve been wiser to consult God and the law BEFORE starting Traffic Monsoon. Not after.
God is probably looking down saying:
“Told you so, but you wouldn’t listen.”
Charles Scoville is innocent until proven guilty.
(Ozedit: derails removed)
@SNL
The SEC’s case is ongoing. We’ll continue our coverage till it’s conclusion.
Who are you to deny us our lulz?
@Faiser
Scoville already plead guilty to attempted aggravated sexual abuse of a child.
The SEC case is civil, there’s no guilty verdict – only evidence proving Scoville ran a Ponzi scheme.
So far that evidence has been enough to grant a TRO and preliminary injunction, both on the finding that the SEC are likely to prevail at trial.
SNL says:
The little boy he sodomized would disagree.
Are you his deranged, incestous mom?
Let me guess you are still in hope of getting your “earnings” from Traffic Monsoon and it being restarted?
Where have you been the past 2 years?
@Faiser Shah
Imagine the following statement in great big red crayon letters:
CHARLES SCOVILLE HAS BEEN PROVEN GUILTY!!!
So the “innocence ship” has sailed long long ago.
That would be a f**k off-sized resounding “NOPE” from Judge Jack over here.
The minute that Simian scamming scuzzbag decided from Day 1 to set up a Ponzi scheme in order to get rich off some of the most disadvantaged people in some of the poorest countries (as well as the Western ones), then I’m afraid he forfeits the right to say Jack sh*t. ESPECIALLY his delusional religiotard rantings to the court.
If I were the one in charge on the receiving end of that letter, I’d give him 10 years right off the bat just for that little stunt.
He’s finally getting what’s coming to him, pure and simple.
Keep up the good work as always.
And that $53 million is going to be less than the scam took in to enrich a few including Scoville.
He dragged the process out, delaying return of anything for those scammed, increasing costs so that they’ll get less, tried to get those funds released to him to pay for his defence etc.
So can’t see where any sympathy is due.
Well to those who know Scovilles history you’ll also know his entire marketing career has been nothing but Ponzi Schemes.
I think before he got caught with Traffic Monsoon he’s previously run 12 others and each time let it implode owing hundreds of thousands to the members who joined it only to start another one and repeat the process.
If it is 12 then 13 was the unlucky number for Scoville.
Actually TM was his 17th Ponzi.
What he would do is when his Ponzi got into money problems, he would start a new one and then roll the members from the failing Ponzi into the new one so they wouldn’t go to the authorities and report him.
He only shafted those members who had small amounts so he wouldn’t pay them trusting the amount was so small they would just walk away, which most did.
Sadly there are many members who were in TM that still believe today the Feds should not have shut it down and he could continue paying not realizing it was collapsing under its own weight.
He had no outside revenue to keep it going despite all his claims otherwise.
To this day Charles has no clue what he owed to the members.
Happens in every Ponzi.
Looks like I was giving him too much credit with only 13 counts of fraud and in not calling him out for the scumbag he truly has proven himself to be.
Seems to be his way of trying to prove he’s insane in the membrane and can’t be held accountable. A bit laughable, really.
And had he lived in Jesus’ times, he probably would have been hung after the first Ponzi.
In a civil case he cannot claim the insanity defense. Besides he was perfectly sane, and he still is, when he started and was running TM. Still in Charles’ mind he thinks he can.
Isn’t it time for the court to set a deadline for Charles to either find a new attorney or represent himself and start the civil trial?
Next scheduled docket check is Jan 29th.
EXACTLY.
