Sipology has announced it is terminating its MLM opportunity.

The Canada-based MLM company, which primarily operated across North America, cited “financial circumstances” as the reason for the decision.

Sipology was founded in 2008 as Steeped Tea. The company was headed up by co-founders Tonia and Hatem Jahshan (right), and marketed a range of loose-leaf tea.

BehindMLM has not reviewed Sipology so I can’t comment on the company specifically.

In addition to announcing it was “closing its doors” today, Sipology also informed promoters that it was “unable to process commission payments”.

It’s unclear how far back Sipology commissions will be unpaid for (typically MLM commission runs are weekly, fortnightly or monthly).

From Sipology’s closure announcement;

At this stage:

  • orders already placed will be processed where possible
  • no new orders will be accepted
  • we will not be able to respond to individual inquiries moving forward

At time of publication Sipology’s website has been wiped. In its place is a Shopify storefront asking for a password:

Promoters on social media are claiming what’s left of Sipology has been put into Receivership:

BehindMLM has not been able to independently verify these claims.
