Jason Cardiff forfeits $530,000 bail bond
Jason Cardiff’s failure to the return the US has resulted in forfeiture of his bail.
Following his arrest in November 2023, Cardiff was granted release on a $530,000 bond.
Cardiff’s bail was secured by
- $500,000 through a property owned by Lilia Murphy; and
- $30,000 in cash paid by Brian Kennedy.
Both Murphy and Kennedy submitted affidavits of surety, acknowledging the consequences of Cardiff violating his release conditions.
At the request of the DOJ last month, the court held a motion on Cardiff forfeiting bail on March 11th.
An order issued later the same day states;
On February 5, 2025, the Court granted an order that:
(1) declared Defendant a fugitive;
(2) vacated Defendant’s trial date and the tolling of the Speedy Trial Act; and
(3) issued an arrest warrant against Defendant.
To date, Defendant seemingly remains in Ireland has not returned to the United States.
Cardiff has violated his conditions of release and has failed to appear to a hearing. The former requires forfeiture.
Accordingly, the Court ORDERS the bond forfeited against Defendant in the amount of $530,000, with Lilia Murphy to be jointly and severally liable with Defendant in the amount of $500,000, and Brian Kennedy to be jointly and severally liable with Defendant in the amount of $30,000.
While we don’t know if Cardiff (right) cares about other people losing over half a million due to his actions, we do know he feels very strongly about being a fugitive with an active arrest warrant.
Three weeks after a court order declared him a fugitive and issued an arrest warrant, Cardiff threatened Google with legal action.
Citing a BehindMLM article covering his fugitive status and arrest warrant, Cardiff wrote;
I am writing to formally request the removal of a defamatory and false webpage from Google’s search index that is severely damaging to my reputation.
This webpage contains false, misleading, and defamatory statements about me, including the claim that I have been “declared a fugitive” and that an “arrest warrant is pending.”
These statements are categorically false. At no point has any court deemed me a fugitive, and no such legal determination exists.
At time of publication BehindMLM’s coverage of Cardiff’s criminal case remains accessible to the public.
Up until recently Cardiff also made regular appearances in BehindMLM’s comments section.
On September 7th, 2024, Cardiff stated;
The assumption that I would “never come back” is completely false.
My legal battle is far from over, and I will continue to fight this case through every motion. In fact, I believe the case will be resolved before trial, and I will prevail.
On September 8th Cardiff claimed he had evidence BehindMLM was “run by the FTC”.
Cardiff never provided any evidence. Nor did he make any further appearances in BehindMLM’s comment section.
Beyond being a fugitive with an active arrest warrant, Cardiff’s current status and whereabouts are unknown.
Damn bro, you’re a fed? Better let GSB know.
Bro? Ahem, FTC Chairman of the Board thank you very much.
You failed to mention that you are also in NSA and CISA, and a sub-agent of the CIA.
I know you are too modest to mention it, but it is only fair that you get the recognition that you are due.
Please tell me that Jason is still stupid enough to be in Ireland this is a twenty year sentence
He is.
