QNet affiliates busted for posing as National Security Operatives
A group of affiliates in Ghana decided to market QNet by posing as National Security Operatives.
This didn’t go down well with the National Security Council, leading to actual National Security Operatives arresting the QNet affiliates.
For context, Ghana’s National Security Council is roughly the FBI equivalent in the US.
As per the National Security Council’s investigation, QNet affiliates were “posing as national security operatives as a cover for their recruitment business”.
BehindMLM reviewed QNet in 2017 and, based on its business model, concluded it was a pyramid scheme.
The arrested suspects stand accused of
extorting money from young graduates with the promise of a better life under a shady network marketing scheme.
In their defense, the suspects have denied the charges but have confirmed they are QNet affiliates.
We represent QNET in our locality, our region or our country, so it only means that our products and services are mainly from QNET.
And for that matter we take our products from them and we get payments in the form of commission.
QNet scammers have been an ongoing problem for Ghanaian authorities.
Last year Ghana deported fifty-two QNet scammers. Earlier this year four QNet affiliates were arrested for luring new recruits into Ghana on false pretenses.
Update 4th November 2022 – Following a regulatory enforcement action against the company, QNet has been ordered to get out of Ghana.
