Paparazzi settles “toxic contaminants” Utah class-action
Paparazzi and Plaintiffs Lori Teske and Terri Franklin have come to a settlement. Following arbitrage proceedings ordered earlier this year, a joint stipulation was filed on October 10th.

The Paparazzi “leaks” case has been stayed pending the outcome of ordered arbitration proceedings. Objections to compelled arbitration were overruled as per an April 3rd order.
Three defendants accused of leaking confidential information have settled with Paparazzi. If approved, the settlement will see Melissa Sorenson, Kylee Robinette and Jennifer Dyer consent to a permanent injunction.
A Utah court has declined to consolidate five individually filed Paparazzi class-actions. The court found that while “common factual questions” between the cases exist;
Three Defendants in the “employee leaks” case have filed a countersuit against Paparazzi’s co-founders. Defendants and now Counterclaim Plaintiffs Geraldine Souza, Jennifer Carrol and Jaime Robinson allege, among other things, that Paparazzi is a pyramid scheme.
Plaintiff Heather Gilbert has filed a lawsuit against Paparazzi in Michigan. Gilbert’s proposed class-action was filed on June 16th. Central to the lawsuit are alleged misrepresentations regarding toxic metals in Paparazzi jewelry.
Plaintiff Irene Burgess has filed a lawsuit against Paparazzi in California. Burgess’ proposed class-action was filed on June 2nd. Central to the lawsuit are alleged misrepresentations regarding toxic metals in Paparazzi jewelry.
Plaintiffs Lori Teske and Terri Franklin have filed a proposed class-action lawsuit against Paparazzi. The Teske Complaint was filed in Utah on June 6th.
Paparazzi has secured a preliminary injunction against a former employee and consultants.
Melissa Sorenson is a former Paparazzi employee. Sorenson was terminated in January 2022. The circumstances of the termination have not been disclosed by herself or Paparazzi. What we do know, courtesy of a chatlog exhibit, is Sorenson feels she was “wrongfully terminated”. To that end she’s filed multiple complaints with state and federal labor regulators.
