Traffic Monsoon SCOTUS writ deadline set for June 21st
A Traffic Monsoon appeal court docket order has revealed Charles Scoville has until June 21st to file his Supreme Court writ.
Traffic Monsoon came up on my calendar today for an update check. I hadn’t been checking the appeal docket as the writ seemed to be tracked on the SEC case docket.
On a whim I checked the appeal docket and found this May 15th order, acknowledging Scoville’s second delay request.
The mandate is stayed for 28 days, until June 21, 2019.
No further extensions will be granted unless the petition for certiorari is filed within the present deadline.
We previously covered Scoville’s second delay request on May 17th. I was aware of the June 21st second deadline extension but couldn’t find any information on whether Scoville could just keep requesting extensions.
The Tenth Circuit Appeals Court docket clearly states that unless Scoville files his writ before June 21st, they will lift the stay on their appeal denial regardless.
This is irrespective of whether Scoville applies for and is granted a third writ submission extension by the Supreme Court.
SCROTUS sounds more appropiate 😉
Hello, Thank you for your info site.
Please for T.Monsoon. Do I have to send the complaint file and proof of payment before June 21st ? at this address: (removed) ? and after, is it too late ?
Did I understand right ?
Best Regard JP
No the June 21st date is the deadline for Charles Scoville’s Supreme Court stalling.
There’s currently no victim claims process in place yet.
Thank you so much.
I have thought the underlying reason for Charles requesting an extension of time was due to his shopping for an attorney to take his case. It’s why he asked for the second extension as he wasn’t able to find one in the first 30 days.
I still don’t think he is going to find an attorney to file one either. You can bet if he seeks a third extension he is definitely attorney shopping.
I thought he had an attorney?
I’m going off memory here but the guy was going on about how there’s a strong chance the SCOTUS will take up the case blahblahblah in one of the filings. I could of sworn I read that a few months back.
His attorney for his appeals was ethically bound to file for the extensions of time, but not to file the writ to SCOUTS.
It is my understanding that he has to get an attorney who specializes in SCOTUS filings to file the writ.
Well, it is the 21st and no word on the writ being filed with SCOTUS, nor any word that an extension was sought and approved.
Now I hope the SEC can set the civil trial and end this nonsense of Charles’ trying to avoid his trial, handcuffs and all. I also hope the trial will take place this fall or early winter so this saga can be put to bed.
As I write this, there’s no updates on the Traffic Monsoon SEC or the appeals court case dockets.
I’m assuming if a writ was filed there’d be some sort of notification by Scoville on one or both of those dockets – but I’m not 100% sure on that (first time I’m tracking a SCOTUS writ in an MLM case).
Don’t know how fast the appeals court works but I’m thinking we’ll either get an update on their docket from next week (might take them a while to get it up).
If he did I am sure Shirley would have been broadcasting it all over her FB page, and nothing.
Which makes me believe we can now move to the SEC trial or he enters a guilty plea and ends this charade of his.
Charles filed his writ: NOLINK://realscam.com/redirect-to/?redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fscovillelegaldefensefund.files.wordpress.com%2F2019%2F06%2F2019-06-21-petition-for-writ-of-certiorari.pdf
I found it hard to believe that he would find an attorney willing to file it. Guess money does talk after all.
29 pages. I’m not to go into it too much (same arguments that failed in the District and appeal courts), but I will acknowledge the filing.
Still going through the news of the day.
Why is it taking long time. If traffic monsoon is liquidated, how come creditors are not cleared?
To liquidate a company, creditors must be paid.
This is the reality of Ponzi cleanup. It takes years.
The $3 billion TelexFree Ponzi scheme was shut down in 2014. Its victims to this day are waiting for their first distribution payment.
you need to take that up with your boy sharley who is gumming up the works.
