Taygeta: Russian Online casino ruse MLM crypto Ponzi
Taygeta fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.
Taygeta’s original website domain (“taygeta.tech”), was privately registered on April 24th, 2023.
Taygeta abandoned its original .TECH domain after the Central Bank of Russia issued a Taygeta fraud warning on June 20th.
Taygeta now operates from the domain “taygeta.pro”, privately registered on June 27th, 2023.
As to who’s running Taygeta, no idea but they’re obviously Russian:
Over on Taygeta’s official YouTube channel, Artur Andreevich (Артур Андреевич) is presented as Taygeta’s CEO.
Other than confirming Andreevich’s association with Russia (the obvious), I wasn’t able to ascertain whether he’s a Boris CEO.
While Russian scammers are notorious for using actors to front their scams, use of a Boris CEO to target Russian-speakers is unusual.
As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

Taygeta Conclusion
Taygeta represents it generates external revenue via an online casino they’ve set up:
Taygeta host their casino on the domain “taygeta.casino”, privately registered on April 24th, 2023 (in other words, it was created at the same time as Taygeta’s MLM opportunity).
Taygeta’s casino is represented to have been set up by Livesoft, who Taygeta claim is a business partner.
Instead of being honest about being run from Russia (sanctions violations a-hoy!), Taygeta runs its casino through Taygeta Bet.
Taygeta Bet is attached to Fintech Szofver N.V and Fintech Szoftver Megoldások Kft.
Fintech Szofver N.V is a shell company purportedly registered in Curacao. Fintech Szoftver Megoldások Kft is a shell company purportedly registered in Hungary.
A quick look at Taygeta’s casino reveals a cookie-cutter gaming website populated with third-party gambling apps.
While casinos are generally profitable, within the context of an MLM opportunity offering passive returns they make no sense.
If Taygeta’s casino is already profitable, what do they need affiliate investment for?
If Taygeta’s casino isn’t profitable, how is affiliate investment going to change that?
Keep in mind anything invested into Taygeta is a liability, owing to passive returns and the MLM compensation plan. This means the assumption is there that the casino is already profitable after a few months – which brings us back to question one.
From a regulatory perspective Taygeta is offering securities by way of passive returns.
Taygeta provides no evidence it has registered with financial regulators in any jurisdiction. Most notably Russia, prompting the Central Bank of Russia’s fraud warning.
That Taygeta’s response to this was changing its website domain speaks volumes.
As it stands the only verifiable source of revenue entering Taygeta is new investment.
Using new investment to pay affiliate withdrawals would make Taygeta a Ponzi scheme.
As with all MLM Ponzi schemes, once affiliate recruitment dries up so too will new investment.
This will starve Taygeta of ROI revenue, eventually prompting a collapse.
The math behind Ponzi schemes guarantees that when they collapse, the majority of participants lose money.
On being honest about Taygeta being from Russia. It doesn’t really have anything to do with sanctions, rather with the fact that casinos in Russia are mostly illegal.
Online casinos are outright illegal, regular casinos are illegal in most parts of Russia apart from a few so-called “gambling zones”, and even then casinos are subject to heavy regulation.
