okbtc-biz-logoThere is no information on the OKBTC Biz website indicating who owns or runs the business.

The OKBTC Biz website domain (“okbtc.biz”) was registered on the 21st of March 2016, however the domain registration is set to private.

A residential address in London, UK is provided on the OKBTC Biz website, along with the company claiming to be “a UK registered investment company”.

No registration details are provided.

Alexa currently estimates that 26.4% of all traffic to the OKBTC Biz website originates out of Russia. India is the second largest source of traffic, providing 14.7%.

The admin of OKBTC Biz is likely based out of one of these two countries. A UK company registration is typically the work of Indian scammers, so my money would be on India.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

The OKBTC Biz Product Line

OKBTC Biz has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market OKBTC Biz affiliate membership itself.

The OKBTC Biz Compensation Plan

The OKBTC Biz compensation plan sees affiliates invest in three offered “plans”:

  1. BTC/CNY Plan – invest $35 to $3500 and receive 700% ROI in 24 hrs
  2. BTC/EUR Plan – invest $300 to $30,000 and receive a 6000% ROI in 48 hrs
  3. BTC/USD Plan – invest $2500 to $250,000 and receive a 50,000% ROI in 72 hrs

Referral commissions are available on funds invested by recruited affiliates, paid out down three levels of recruitment (unilevel):

  • level 1 (personally recruited affiliates) – 3%
  • levels 2 and 3 – 2%

Joining OKBTC Biz

Affiliate membership with OKBTC Biz is free, however affiliates must invest at least $35 to participate in the attached MLM opportunity.

Conclusion

A 50,000% ROI in three days? To put that into perspective, if someone was idiotic enough to invest $250,000 into OKBTC Biz, they’d be expecting to receive a $125 million dollar ROI… in three days.

Even at the $35 investment level, if you could consistently produce 700% ROIs in 24 hours, why on Earth would you be wasting your time soliciting investment from third-parties?

Take out a small personal loan and within a year you’d be the richest person on the planet.

The reality behind OKBTC Biz’s ROIs is that all they’re doing is shuffling newly invested funds to pay off existing investors.

A few might invest at the higher levels, but by and large most investment is going to take place at the BTC/CNY Plan level. And even then investments over $100 are probably rare.

These sorts of schemes aren’t designed to last too long.

When I first began researching OKBTC Biz, advertising copy on their website stuck out as strange.

Here’s an example:

OKBTC BIZ is a UK registered investment company that is geared towards the BTC. We trade in the finest and most contemporary work of BTC and make huge returns on them.

“Geared towards the BTC?“, “most contemporary work of BTC”?

That sounded a bit suss and sure enough, after punching some of the copy into Google, I learned OKBTC Biz is just a clone of “Rixos Finance”:

okbtc-biz-copypaste-rixos-finance

So the original pitch for this scam was “fine art”.

The primary difference between the two schemes is Rixos Finance’s offered ROIs are much more typical of online Ponzi scheme offerings.

Same three plan layout, however you’re looking at:

  • 2% a day for 30 days
  • 2.4% a day for 45 days
  • 2.8% a dayfor 60 days and
  • 3% a day for 75 days

The Rixos Finance domain registration is likely full of bogus information (made up generic names, same UK company reg shtick), however we do know it was launched first.

Rixos Finance was launched in early April, OKBTC Biz was launched last week. The two websites are otherwise identical, right down to graphics used in the template (bogus social media profiles have been removed from OKBTC Biz though).

What’s probably happening here is OKBTC Biz is about to collapse, and so you’ve got OKBTC Biz funds being diverted to fend off the collapse. Obviously that’s going to hasten OKBTC Biz’s collapse, with one or both schemes probably going under by the end of this month.

The drawn-out advertised ROIs for Rixos Finance are the opposite of OKBTC Biz’s “50,000% in 3 days” nonsense. The timelines do intersect though with the majority of funds invested into Rixos Finance likely still trapped in the scheme.

Either way for even a fraction of the advertised ROIs to be paid out, most investors are going to lose money. And if you’re not in the anonymous admin’s close circle of scamming friends, that probably means you.
