NortheStar Review: Digital Profit scammers launch own opp
NortheStar operates in the nutritional supplement MLM niche.
The company doesn’t provide a corporate address but its Policies and Procedures cites both Texas and Nevada.
The State of Texas is the place of the origin of this Contract.
Any controversy or claim relating to the business relationships arising between Independent Affiliates shall be resolved by mandatory, final, binding, nonappealable arbitration in Las Vegas, Nevada.
NortheStar’s legal disclaimers reference Northe Star LLC, a Delaware corporation.
Heading up NortheStar are co-founders Ricky Villanueva and Demitrius Siruno.
As of May 2021 Ricky Villanueva (right) was a Green Diamond in Digital Profit.
As per BehindMLM’s published Digital Profit review, Green Diamond is the highest affiliate rank within the company.
Digital Profit run a trading bot investment opportunity spanning four layers of securities fraud.
In late August it was revealed Digital Profit’s trading bot had caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses.
Villanueva appears to have left Digital Profit shortly after ranking at Green Diamond in May. NortheStar’s website domain was registered on June 23rd.
Prior to Digital Profit Villanueva promoted Modere and B-Epic.
Demitrius Siruno (right) appears to have started out in Kyani. He worked with Villanueva in both B-Epic and Digital Profit.
B-Epic has some sort of shady deal with Digital Profit. Digital Profit markets B-Epic products, likely in exchange for funneling B-Epic affiliates into Digital Profit.
I imagine that funneling was how Villanueva and Siruno signed up as Digital Profit promoters.
As per his Facebook profile, Ricky Villanueva resides in New York. Demitrius Siruno’s LinkedIn profile pegs him to Utah.
It thus follows that NortheStar is in fact operated from New York and Utah.
Any operational connections NortheStar has to Texas, Nevada and Delaware appear to be superficial.
Read on for a full review of NortheStar’s MLM opportunity.

PV stands for “Personal Volume” and is sales volume generated via retail orders and an affiliate’s own purchases.
Preferred customers are retail customers on monthly autoship.
To count towards rank qualification, recruited affiliates and preferred customers must have a standing monthly order.
GV stands for “Group Volume” and is PV generated by an affiliate and their downline.
Note that from 3 Star, no more than 60% of required GV can come from any one unilevel team leg.
Retail Commissions
NortheStar affiliates earn commissions on products purchased by retail customers.
Retail commissions are calculated as 50% of generated retail order sales volume.
Residual Commissions
NortheStar pays residual commissions via a unilevel compensation structure.
A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):
If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.
NortheStar caps residual commissions at ten unilevel team levels.
Residual commissions are paid as a percentage of sales volume generated across these ten levels based on rank:
- Affiliates earn a 35% Fast Start Bonus on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates) and 10% on level 2
- 1 Stars earn a 50% Fast Start Bonus on level 1, 10% on level 2 and 7% on level 3
- 3 Stars earn a 50% Fast Start Bonus on level 1, 10% on level 2, 7% on level 3 and 5% on level 4
- 10 and 20 Stars earn a 50% Fast Start Bonus on level 1, 10% on level 2, 7% on level 3, 5% on level 4, 4% on level 5 and 3% on level 6
- 40 and 80 Stars earn a 50% Fast Start Bonus on level 1, 10% on level 2, 7% on level 3, 6% on level 4, 5% on level 5, 3% on level 6 and 2% on levels 7 and 8
- 100 and 200 Stars earn a 50% Fast Start Bonus on level 1, 10% on level 2, 7% on level 3, 6% on level 4, 5% on level 5, 3% on level 6, 2% on levels 7 and 8 and 1% on level 9
- North Stars earn a 50% Fast Start Bonus on level 1, 10% on level 2, 7% on level 3, 6% on level 4, 5% on level 5, 3% on level 6, 2% on levels 7 and 8 and 1% on levels 9 and 10

NortheStar Conclusion
NortheStar feels very much the end result of how much time its founders put into the business.
One month they were top ranked in Digital Profit, the next month they were launching NortheStar.
The company’s products are a standard MLM nutritional offering of unknown origins.
I’m not knocking them on face value but similar products are available from just about every nutritional supplement MLM company. Not to mention non-MLM supplement retailers.
NortheStar’s compensation plan isn’t overtly offensive but does lend itself to pyramid recruitment.
Yes retail is possible but there’s a clear undertone of “sign up, get on autoship and recruit others who do the same”.
The counterweight to this is the Customer Star Pool. Considering company-wide sales volume is placed into this pool, it might very well wind up quite lucrative for those focused on enrolling preferred customers.
On the flipside participation is entirely optional so there’s nothing really stopping autoship recruitment focus.
I get the sense that after leaving B-Epic, Ricky Villanueva’s and Demitrius Siruno’s foray into securities fraud with Digital Profit was a disaster.
Such tends to happen when you dive head first into MLM trading bot securities fraud schemes.
Unable or not wanting to return to B-Epic, Villanueva and Siruno set about launching their own MLM company.
The quickest way to establish how your potential upline is running their NortheStar business is to ask how they’re qualifying as “active” each month.
What you’re looking for is self-qualification (i.e. they qualify on their own monthly order), without equivalent retail order volume.
This volume can be either one-time purchase retail customers or preferred customers on autoship.
If that equivalent volume isn’t there, that affiliate is running their NortheStar business as a pyramid scheme.
The math behind pyramid schemes guarantees that the majority of participants lose money.
You need to get your info right. On alot things youve said here.
This company gives back to nonprofit. Mental health organizations. Gives back to individuals on fb.
Theres no cost to join. No monthly quota. 50% commissions for everyone.
Drag them through the mud for a previous company decisions they were partnered with.
All this bs because you don’t like mlm…..
None of this addresses, and I quote;
Regurgitating irrelevant marketing points != actual research
No need, just pointing out they were promoting a Ponzi scheme is enough.
Josh Zwagil of MyDailyChoice owns the domain name. It’s public knowledge.
Enough said right there on how shady this company is. He broke his own non compete rule, by creating his own competing company.
These crooks just keep recycling their BS, these two characters are following in the footsteps of that other crook from Vemma, can’t remember his name (not BK Boreyko), who led the YPN (Young Peoples Network) scamming college students and their parents.
Finmore Tranzact Neolife High ranking MLMERS selling this now so you need to update your information on these people Seth Montoya,Rick Fleming, Bradley Oprendek, so why are they involved in this ?
BehindMLM doesn’t track individuals unless there’s something significant attached. Jumping from a collapsed MLM company to another isn’t significant.
