HyperMood fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.

HypoerMood’s website domain (“hypermood.space”), was privately registered on February 15th, 2023.

If we look at HyperMood’s website source-code, we find references to Jivo and Yandex.

This strongly suggests whoever is running HyperMood is a Russian speaker.

This tracks with SimilarWeb, who peg Russia as the top source of traffic to HyperMood’s website (26%). Russia is followed by Mexico (8%), Ukraine (7%) and Germany (6%).

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

HyperMood’s Products

HyperMood has no retailable products or services.

Affiliates are only able to market HyperMood affiliate membership itself.

Note that if a HyperMood affiliate withdraws before the tenth ROI period, they only receive 50% of their initial investment back.

HyperMood affiliates are able to have up to one hundred active investment positions at any given time.

The MLM side of HyperMood pays on recruitment of affiliate investors.

Karma Levels & Dark Matter

HyperMood restricts MLM commissions based on “karma levels”. How many open investment positions a HyperMood affiliate can have is also determined by their karma level.

HyperMood affiliates raise their karma level by generating dark matter (DM) and then trading it in.

HyperMood affiliates can generate dark matter via various tasks:

signing up as a HyperMood affiliate = 10 DM
subscribing to HyperMood’s social media profiles = 10 DM
spamming TrustPilot with a fake review = 5 DM
spamming social media with HyperMood advertising = “up to 2500 DM”
spamming social media with HyperMood marketing comments = 5 DM
posting HyperMood video spam to YouTube = “up to 2500 DM”
posting a HyperMood blog review = “up to 2500 DM”
reaching various HyperMood investment ROI period milestones = 5 to 200 DM
recruiting HyperMood affiliate investors = 20 to 2000 DM
achieving set investment and generated DM goals = 250 to 2500 DM

Referral Commissions

HyperMood pays referral commissions on invested cryptocurrency down two levels of recruitment (unilevel).

Referral commission rates are determined by a HyperMood affiliate’s karma level:

karma levels 1 and 2 = 6% on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates) and 2% on level 2
karma levels 3 and 4 = 8% on level 1 and 2% on level 2
karma levels 5 and 6 = 9% on level 1 and 2% on level 2

HyperMood Conclusion

HyperMood is a simple MLM crypto Ponzi scheme.

Affiliates invest and those who invest before them steal their money. If recruitment keeps up, affiliates whose money is stolen in turn steal the money of those who invest after them.

Referral commissions on investment activity add an additional pyramid layer to the scheme.

The karma and dark matter mechanisms serve to incentivize marketing and recruitment. HyperMood affiliates that recruit/spam will earn more than those that don’t.

As with all MLM Ponzi schemes, once affiliate recruitment dries up so too will new investment.

This will starve HyperMood of ROI revenue, eventually prompting a collapse.

The math behind Ponzi schemes guarantees that when they collapse, the majority of participants lose money.

Update 5th May 2023 – HyperMood disabled withdrawals and collapsed on May 4th.

Hyper-End?

The website states as follows:

Hypermood universe collapse

Once upon a time, in a far-off galaxy, there was a universe called Hypermood that was filled with all kinds of different worlds. Each world had its own unique atmosphere, inhabitants, and technology. Many of the worlds were connected through transport networks, allowing for trade and travel between them.

However, all of this changed when a massive black hole began to form at the center of Hypermood. At first, the inhabitants of the universe didn’t think much of it. They had seen black holes before and knew they were dangerous but typically stayed in place. However, this one was different.

As the black hole grew, it began to exert a gravitational pull on everything around it. At first, it was just small debris and asteroids that were pulled in and destroyed, but soon entire planets were being dragged towards it. The inhabitants of Hypermood knew they had to act fast or risk being pulled in as well.

They gathered their scientists and engineers, and they worked tirelessly to devise a plan to stop the black hole. They tried throwing everything they could at it, from spaceships to weapons, but nothing seemed to work.

As the black hole grew larger and more intense, panic began to spread throughout Hypermood. People started evacuating their worlds, trying to get as far away from the black hole as possible. But it was already too late.

One by one, the worlds of Hypermood began to collapse and implode as they were dragged towards the black hole’s event horizon. Communication networks went silent, transportation routes were destroyed, and whole civilizations were wiped out.

In the end, there was nothing anyone could do. The black hole had grown too large and too powerful to be stopped. Hypermood, once a vibrant and thriving universe, was now reduced to nothing more than a dark, empty void. Its collapse had left behind only a few scattered debris and remnants of what was once a beautiful universe.

I’m still getting the regular website on my end (???).

edit: ah it’s in the news section. That’s a lot of waffle for an exit-scam if it is one. Should have just written “penis” like a respectable crypto collapse.

I think it’s an exit-scam. Should be able to verify over the next 24-48 hours. Investors haven’t started complaining yet.
